I often go out for pizza because my wife, in particular, loves it. I've been to numerous pizzerias in Milan and the lower Salento area, but Sandro's are not only good, but special and incredibly tasty. I should add that Sandro is a pizza chef with love, and it shows... and he's also a very courteous, friendly, and thoughtful person. Fernando

A little-known place. It's an old village bar, which embodies the most authentic Salento of the 1980s. Indeed, there's always the same old crowd of old people and farmers. The place, while not the grand Michelin-starred establishments it is, certainly embodies the tranquility of the inland villages of lower Salento. The magic is in the exceptional pizza. Unique dough, very original...very, very delicious.

I've been to this pizzeria three times. As for the place, I have to say it's quite well-kept and full of details, but unfortunately the place is too small. If the pizzeria is sold out, it's difficult to get between the various tables to go to the bathroom or simply go outside. The owner and the waitress are truly polite, kind, and courteous people. The pizza is truly excellent (HIGHLY RECOMMENDED). The only flaw, in my opinion, is something that happened to me twice in a row: out of a table of nine people, eight pizzas arrived, the ninth one took about 20 minutes. You have to finish one table before proceeding to make other pizzas for other tables. Another issue is that the prices of the pizzas aren't listed on the menus; it's mandatory to display the prices so at least one person knows how much they can afford! However, other than that, I will definitely be back because I really like the pizza!
