This brand-new restaurant, surrounded by centuries-old olive trees, begins with an endless array of appetizers: ricotta, ovoline, cured meats, provolone, eggplant parmigiana, exquisite onions, caponata, fettuccine with fantastic porcini mushrooms, sliced ​​meats, mixed grill—in short, everything is wonderful, locally sourced and cooked with love. The service and friendliness are 100% recommended. Prices are below average.

26/09/2025: Disappointing experience. The second week of September, the Cirò Marina waterfront was completely deserted and all the restaurants were closed. Only Malibú was open, so we settled in for a few snacks and perhaps a drink of the renowned Cirò wine. We ordered a Cirò red wine, which was served at 38°C (98.4°F), explaining that "red doesn't go in the refrigerator." We agreed, but not even at 40°C (104.4°F). In fact, once opened, the wine had turned to vinegar, to which the owner explained, "We're not in the bottle of wine." In short, two embarrassing moments later, we insisted on having it returned and opted for beer. To our surprise, he didn't charge us for it. We were surprised, because the outlook was dire. Tourism in Calabria could boom if only the Calabrians were more hospitable, more friendly, and less Calabrian.

02/01/2026: My boyfriend and I went to this pizzeria for dinner on Friday night, and I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. The pizza was delicious and light; it's one of my favorites! The service was excellent, too. We'll definitely be back!

14/12/2025: We're from Cariati, and there's no shortage of great places with excellent pizzas in our area. But at this place, just steps from the center and the Crotone seafront, we ate a pizza that was nothing short of exquisite. While staying with my uncles, my entire family (including two little girls with decidedly unusual tastes) and I ordered the 180g pizza. Everything was excellent, from the cooking to the excellent quality ingredients, and even the crispiness of the pizza, which, if anything, made us appreciate it even more. The place isn't huge, but it's extremely clean and meticulously maintained. The staff is friendly, helpful, and quick to accommodate our requests. Well done everyone. And yes, we'll be back!

28/07/2025: Un ristorante che non merita di rimanere aperto. Iniziamo dal fatto che il cameriere che presumo sia il proprietario ci dice che per ordinare un primo minimo due porzioni (eravamo in due). Cibo discreto e per finire il conto che ci viene detto a voce e nemmeno basso. Mai più

16/09/2025: I've been coming to L'Aquila D'Oro for years, and every time it feels like coming home. The cuisine is authentically homemade and exudes all the warmth and passion of the family that runs it. In the kitchen, mom Elisabetta and Giuseppe prepare wonderful dishes, bursting with flavor and tradition. In the dining room, dad Salvatore and Giovanni always welcome you with a smile and a rare warmth: the hospitality here is truly special. I recommend everyone try the tripe, one of the restaurant's most incredible specialties: flavorful, tender, and cooked to perfection. L'Aquila D'Oro isn't just for good food, but for an experience of family, hospitality, and authentic cuisine. A place I will always hold in my heart.

27/07/2025: Wonderful place right on the seashore... The service was great. But the food was awful: pizza with no sauce, pasta with clams without the clam sauce. A seafood appetizer that I have no words to describe how disgusting it was... We asked for some piadina bread, but they didn't serve it... We waited an hour and a half to receive our order. We were there in July on vacation and everyone had good things to say about this restaurant. Well, we'll never go back!
