14/06/2025: We stumbled upon Bar Moka by chance because everything else was closed for lunch. We were won over by the extremely friendly and enterprising owner, who seems to be there day and night, the motivated team, the delicious baked goods (everything is still available in the evening!), the creamy ice cream, the super-fast and friendly service, and the absolutely authentic, relaxed atmosphere. We were in Crotone for several days and were there every day. We'll be back! Best wishes from your German rum ball friends.

04/05/2025: Comprato un bel vassoio di pasticcini freschi , buoni . Però le dimensioni della paste sono piuttosto grandi e l' assortimento dei tipi e dei ripieni non è molto vario . I prezzi in compenso , paragonati a quelli di qualsiasi località del nord , sono straordinariamente bassi ( 20 euro al kg ) . Personale gentile .

Mangiare un piatto a base di pesce stando coi piedi sul mare e la vista verso l orizzonte è un esperienza unica, piatti deliziosi, impossibile non apprezzare i dolci fatti in casa, si mangiano già solo con gli occhi! 23/04/2025: Gambero Rosso es un lugar encantador en una ubicación costera perfecta en Crotone. Disfrutamos especialmente de las tardes soleadas en su balcón con vistas al mar, ¡un ambiente tan relajante! La pasta con gambas estaba deliciosa, las bebidas eran geniales, y el servicio era cálido y acogedor. Muchas gracias al propietario, su esposa, y especialmente Francesco por hacer nuestras visitas tan agradable!

04/05/2025: Small take-away food place in the center of Crotone, next to Piazza Pitagora. House specialties are pizzas, croquettes, arancini and calzones. We, as tourists, wanted to try the fried calzones with tomato and mozzarella, which are good and cost very little (1.50 euros).

04/05/2025: Piccolo locale di cibo da asporto in centro a Crotone , accanto a Piazza Pitagora . Specialità della casa sono le pizze , gli arancini ed i calzoni . Noi , da turisti , abbiamo voluto provare i calzoni fritti con pomodoro e mozzarella , che sono buoni e costano davvero poco ( 1,50 euro ) .

15/07/2025: The beach is well-maintained, with umbrellas a little too close together and local bathers a little too noisy... the price is normal for the season... but there's a better tip: go around... we've changed too...

14/07/2025: My wife and I visited this establishment a few days ago because we were attracted by the "Disabled Friendly" sign. Before paying, I asked if there was an umbrella accessible by wheelchair, and the answer was yes. I naively thought they'd been so thoughtful and thoughtful as to create a special platform (like those found in other establishments run by people who are more attentive to this issue). Instead, once we entered and crossed the wooden walkway, I discovered we'd have to reach the umbrella by walking across the sand. Now, imagine a weight of about 100 kg (electric wheelchair + person) moving across the sand even for a few meters: it would have immediately sunk, causing the disabled person to fall and damaging the chair. Therefore, we were forced to split up, one person under the umbrella and the other on the beach establishment, and spend the day that way. I think the managers should be more clear with customers when they make specific requests. Furthermore, given that there's so much space available, I don't think they'd spend a fortune to build a 3x3 wooden platform, covered with a tarp, dedicated to those with disabilities. This would allow a disabled person to spend time at the beach with their loved ones, and the lido would be more appreciated.

31/07/2025: The staff is friendly, the place is decent, and best of all, it's close to the castle. Unfortunately, the food isn't great: the potato croquettes aren't good because of the vegetable, the pizza was good but very hard, the hot dog sausage tasted like it was bought at the store, and finally, the hot dog bun was hard.

21/05/2025: All the products with custard (crema) are delicious. The fruit tops it all off. The stop is located on a road, but there's a bit of a breeze, which helps, especially in summer. 2 slices of cake and 2 espressos (with 2 waters) for just €7!!! Highly recommended

14/07/2025: Pesce FRESCO E DI OTTIMA QUALITA'. PERSONALE GARBATO. LOCATION GRAZIOSA. Prezzi esagerati soprattutto in relazione alle quantità servite particolare limitate. Offrite come 1/6 dell'antipasto una sola alicetta marinata mi sembra davvero irridente. Così come pagare per due acque da litro 8 euro, salvo errori della cassa!

07/07/2025: I didn't want to leave a negative review, because I believe that everyone can make mistakes. However, when I learned that this structure also hosts weddings and receptions, I felt compelled to share my experience because those who are organizing an important event deserve to know what they could face. I was invited to a 50th birthday party, with about 30 participants. On the other side of the garden, at the same time, a baptism was taking place with a similar number of guests. The environment, although nice, was infested with mosquitoes, which is very annoying for an outdoor dinner. NO attention to detail. The service was simply EMBARRASSING: waiters UNprofessional and unfriendly. The CONFUSION between the two events was continuous: they served us dishes intended for the other group, including trays of unexpected sushi, which — something VERY SERIOUS — after having already been touched and eaten by some of us, was taken away and brought back to the other table. Honestly, I didn't think something like this could happen in a facility that organizes events. It seemed like a scene from a comedy movie, but with decidedly UNHYGIENIC implications and, probably, outside of any rules. I wonder how certain people can work in the restaurant business and how they can entrust an important event to a place like this, especially at certain prices. I understand that a bad day can happen, but the total lack of professionalism is unacceptable. Even more serious is the arrogance of not admitting the mistake and the total lack of apologies. Simply shameful.
