29/11/2025: I didn't stay overnight, so I didn't use the room service, so I can't give a review. The place is very well-kept and welcoming. Spectacular view. We were there with friends for a private event. Good food.

02/10/2025: My girlfriend and I went for lunch at this beautiful farmhouse in the Cirò countryside. At first glance, we were captivated by the exotic birds lining the path from the parking lot to the farmhouse restaurant. As soon as we arrived, we were seated on the outdoor veranda, surrounded by windows offering a beautiful view. We ordered a delicious white wine from their own production, a mixed appetizer of local products, and two first courses: cavatelli with the classic meatball sauce and spaghetti with sardines and crumbled taralli. To finish, we ordered Pizzo Calabro truffle. Everything was delicious, and the location was truly welcoming and peaceful; we felt right at home. The prices are fair. After lunch, we took a walk and stopped to say hello to the ostriches, just above the other animals (birds and turtles); they were docile and friendly. A perfect place to spend a day immersed in nature and in tranquility.

04/05/2025: Very rude blonde bartender. He doesn't respond to the greeting, while he is serving you he leaves you to serve others. She should just be FIRED.

01/11/2025: A place where the locals go. Then you know it's good. We've been coming here for years. Simple dishes but very tasty.

02/09/2025: Truly excellent, both the owner and the young man who works there are friendly and quite helpful. The pizza is truly excellent, both stuffed and Margherita. I recommend the 4 Formaggi, which is really good. The free cover charge is also nice and convenient, so you really get what you pay for. Recommended for both families and solo travelers. That said, I'll be back as soon as I can.

18/08/2025: I stayed at the Hotel Lo Scoiattolo long enough to recommend it to anyone looking for a pleasant, relaxing stay. The staff deserves five stars for their kindness and hospitality...especially Sandra, who manages the spa, who guided us through the entire experience with kindness and knowledge. Kudos also to the staff in the dining room and the receptionist. Dinner and breakfast were plentiful and high-quality. My only suggestion for the spa experience: given the number of people who can use it, it would be advisable to turn on all the hot tubs to avoid long waits, and to raise the temperature of the pool that is not being used by everyone because it is too low. Recommended.

18/10/2025: We were on vacation in Capo Rizzuto off-season, early October, a desert. Not knowing where to have dinner, we looked around, but everything was closed. We found this restaurant, and we had a good, large pizza, just the way I like it. The only downside was the waiter, who was enthralled by the game, didn't come to us. The place is large and very nice.

04/10/2025: This place is okay for pizza. We didn't enjoy the antipasti and other main courses as much. The service could be friendlier. The ambiance is very spartan.

03/11/2025: A necessary premise: - I've stayed four times over the years, the last one on the weekend of November 1-2, and three more in recent years, with my Lecce Motorcycle Club, friends, and my girlfriend, this time with my girlfriend, a couple of friends, and a daughter; - This review applies to four people, so it's four reviews in one; - Calabria region, Lake Ampollino area, Villaggio Palumbo, and the Ice Rink, simply my heart! Having said this, I'd like to add that Alessandro and Claudio are extraordinary people, excellent entrepreneurs—workers like few I've met, extremely kind, helpful, and capable both as entrepreneurs and as workers, truly exemplary. We've ALWAYS had a wonderful stay and even better dinners: authentic Calabrian cuisine and authentic wood-fired pizza. The family cares deeply about the local area, the authentic and profound Sila identity, and they demonstrate it from dawn to dusk, they never stop! This time they've outdone themselves: the accommodation (a cabin, previously known) is a truly intimate and welcoming gem, the restaurant, as always, offers unique flavors, and the Sila products, both home-grown and locally produced, are as surprising as they are. The warmth of the facility blends with the quality of the 'GUSTO SILA' products. This was the pleasant discovery of this last visit. A REAL amaro made ONLY with local herbs, with no sugar... wonderful, and the best part? The bottle for sale, a must-buy. Congratulations, guys! Your management is serious and exemplary, you bring wealth to the region and beyond. You are a point of reference for thousands of Apulians and Salento residents who now know you, and for half of Italy. And then... wonderful excursions on quads and horses, a shop where you can buy excellent products, both their own and local... there's so much more to say! Everyone was very satisfied, even the little one! See you next time.

08/10/2025: Terrible experience... dirty rooms, untrained staff... But worst of all, the owner was very rude and surly, certainly not up to the task of running a hotel restaurant.

02/09/2025: I ordered ice cream in a brioche bun, both tasted fantastic. I ate it on the terrace, as a foreigner I didn't get water with it, the locals did. I visited the ice cream parlor three times, the service at the cash register and at the counter depends on the staff. The lady at the cash register is nice, the male colleague unfortunately not 🤨

22/08/2025: Excellent bar based on the reviews; indeed, there was a great variety of products. Unfortunately, after a long line, I gave up and opted for another bar. The small staff, who rightly rush to serve the many customers, makes it a place for those who aren't in a hurry, so to speak, even though you expect to be served within 30 minutes. I'll try again at less crowded times, if they exist.

05/10/2025: The pizzas by the slice are good, as are the arancini and potato croquettes. The panzerotto, called a calzone, is special, similar to the fried one in Brindisi but sweeter. Overall, there's a good selection, it's a shame you can't find meatballs, which would be a great addition.

22/08/2025: Terrible. Since last Sunday, my kids and I still have stomach aches... it started out pretty good, but then... I understood why all the sushi places were full except this one. The owner was always watching each of us!! It was awful to feel constantly watched, and on top of that, she constantly threatened us with extra charges if we didn't finish by 11 PM... we arrived at 10:10 PM!!!! To serve the kids... poor things... NEVER AGAIN

01/09/2025: It's a shame to have to confirm, in one place, both triumph and fall, good and evil. On the one hand, I can only praise what still lingers on the palate: the softness of the filled leavened pastry, enveloped in a delicate yet flavorful custard, vanished in a flash, a victim of my unstoppable greed. Nor can I remain silent about the almond pastry, which, though I'd never loved it, in this case won me over to the point of igniting a secret and unexpected love. But on the other hand, alas, not the taste but the tone. The attitude of the person manning the counter seemed to tell us that our very existence was a nuisance: few smiles, little cordiality, and that subtle aura of impatience that ill-suits those who live on diners and vacationers. Let me be clear: I'm not asking you to sacrifice quality on the altar of service: the art of baking is too precious. But at least the humble gesture of a smile, a kind word, the knowledge that here aren't just customers, but souls seeking refreshment and memories of the sea. And so, while the custard still dances in my memories, the bitter thought remains that here, sugar abounds in every dessert, but it's not enough to sweeten the soul of those behind the counter.

25/08/2025: They didn't let us in because we were in our swimsuits (the shop is 100 meters from the beach) and the lady at the entrance was particularly rude

25/08/2025: I'm sorry, but I pay €3.50 for a beer at your place (instead of €1.20 at the market) ...to eat a hot pizza, not a cold one, especially since the pizzas you make when eaten cold are absolutely disgusting. The only way to eat them hot is to try to remember that, because you've lost another customer. Kind regards.
