08/09/2025: A welcoming place with a sea view that alone is worth the visit. But the real surprise was the quality of the food and the friendliness of the staff. We ordered an appetizer and a pizza: everything was truly excellent, but the pizza was a revelation. In all my years, I've never eaten anything so good: crispy, light, and super digestible. The service was impeccable, with kind and helpful staff who made you feel at home. The prices were very fair for such high quality. We'll definitely be back! Kudos to the entire staff!

15/08/2025: Unspeakable, they don't take anything away, they make mistakes, burnt food, slow service with no tomorrow. But above all, after an endless service, THEY TURN OFF THE AIR CONDITIONING to send you away. Yes, in my exact words: We have to close.

26/08/2025: We spent fourteen days at this residence, but unfortunately, we were very disappointed. Starting with the sewer smell in the room every day, which they explained to us was due to nearby drains (I would have liked to know this before arriving). The cleanliness of the rooms needs to be improved, the sheets sometimes had holes in them, and sometimes they weren't changed. The breakfast service was terrible for a 4-star hotel, so much so that we only used it for a few days, then we left. There's little supervision from the staff in general throughout the property. The location is beautiful, but poorly managed. Our holiday was saved by the lounge bar area, where we were pampered with delicious cocktails and platters. The staff were kind and super helpful. The beach is very beautiful, but in Calabria, when it comes to the sea, there's not much to say; it's a shame about everything else. It's a property we definitely won't return to.

25/08/2025: So, a hotel of this standard in terms of cleanliness disappointed me: dirty bathroom, fixtures full of limescale, closets full of dust. The owners were unfriendly, not at all sociable, never smiled, except for the daughter-in-law with the child who smiled and said hello. Then let's not even talk about the water at the table, which wasn't included. In no other hotel have I ever paid for water at the table. Are you kidding? Not even a jug. I will never return, without some entertainment, without a piano bar in the evening. The food was pretty good, but €2.50 for water with half board is unbearable. I was disappointed because it's a beautiful hotel with an excellent location, but it's not at all valued and is also expensive for the services it offers.

26/09/2025: Spurred by the positive reviews, we decided to try this pizzeria. We started with a classic frittatina, which was good, not very crispy, but the flavor was good. We followed with a quadrotto with raw shrimp and classic montanare. The quadrotto tasted good, but the dough wasn't the softest. But what surprised me, and not in a good way, were the montanare: they were very hard and, at times, crunchy. The dough was a bit "gnucco," absolutely far from the Neapolitan montanara tradition. We continued with a "Diego" pizza and a "Popolana" which, unfortunately, didn't particularly impress us as the dough wasn't as soft as we expected (and as we're used to with Neapolitan pizza) due to the high expectations raised by the various awards the place boasts. The buffalo mozzarella and fior di latte were not very flavorful. A pizza, to say the least, average. The service, however, was attentive and fast. A very nice place overlooking the sea. The quality-price ratio, in my opinion, is a little high for some of the products used. As a native of Campania, would I recommend it? Well, not really, but there are better options.

25/09/2025: First time at this restaurant. First of all, a very positive note about the staff. Everyone was extremely friendly. The pizzas were top-notch. Excellent flavor and high-quality ingredients. The place is welcoming and well-maintained, with a terrace overlooking the sea. Excellent prices and fast service. We will gladly return.

The meat was simply exceptional, tender, flavorful, and cooked to perfection... the kind that makes you want more without thinking twice. The staff was impeccable: friendly, attentive, and welcoming. Marco and the entire team made us feel at home, with a genuine hospitality that is rare these days. An experience that stays in your heart... and especially on your palate! We'll definitely be back.

20/07/2025: Truly a beautiful place, very welcoming, and with an open kitchen. My girlfriend and I, like every year when we come, both ordered the meat platter, and it was fantastic. It all started with a mixed cured meats and cheeses accompanied by fried gnocco, followed by a meat platter and a side of fries. The meat was truly excellent quality and perfectly cooked, so tender it melted in your mouth. The staff was friendly and very professional. I recommend everyone to go there.

20/09/2025: The average reviews and excellent location made me apprehensive. However, the calamari turned out to be delicious, and the pizza was one of the best I've ever had. The perfect wine was the icing on the cake. A wonderful dinner with a stunning view.

24/08/2025: A small, family-run restaurant with seating for about 30. Service is friendly, but sometimes confusing, with one entree arriving after we'd already finished the other. There's no food and wine menu. The appetizer was small but acceptable, the entree lacking: rigatoni was overcooked and the spaghetti sauce tasteless. To top it all off, the bill was too high considering the quality of the food and the average prices in the area. One complete appetizer, two entrees, and a half-liter of house wine totaled €66. All of this was listed only as a handwritten total and without any justification for the prices. Elsewhere, you can eat much better and pay less.

Almost two hours of waiting for four pizzas, despite the menu having asterisks on everything (everything is frozen), and the owner even dared to respond rudely to our complaints. The food was beyond reproach, mediocre; the tomato sauce on the pizza was sour. I don't understand the positive reviews, which sound like they've eaten somewhere completely different from ours: our experience was among the worst I've ever had in a restaurant. Never again, it's a shame I can't give it 0 stars. Total disappointment.

18/08/2025: Entering through a modest door, you arrive in a room filled with historical objects. I was pleasantly surprised by the restaurant's decision to introduce guests to its spacious and tidy open kitchen and its welcoming staff. You then pass directly into another room and then onto a large terraced garden with tables spaced apart under a ventilated pergola. The staff is courteous, and the atmosphere remains intimate despite the limited space. Excellent freshly caught fish and simple, fresh side dishes. The 5 stars I give aren't just for the quality of the simple, tasty dishes, but for the combination of flavors and well-being you experience when dining at Annibale in the heart of the village, within a garden that never fails to hark back to a time when restaurants were also appreciated for the atmosphere they created, as here in the name of one of history's greatest generals. Stop here for an evening. Robert
