01/12/2025: I stumbled upon this place by chance. It feels like a family restaurant, a welcoming, intimate space... the service is attentive and impeccable! And what can I say about the food? I'm not exaggerating when I say it was one of the best I've ever had... The appetizer, in particular, is delicious, a blend of traditional cuisine with a touch of modern reinterpretation. I highly recommend it and would definitely return!

18/08/2025: An absolutely perfect place for anyone seeking an escape from the hustle and bustle of the city and seeking peace and relaxation close to nature. The agritourism hotel and restaurant are situated in a beautiful setting overlooking the Calabrian hills, covered with olive groves. The bells of grazing cows can be heard in the distance, and the pool offers a fabulous view of the hills and a glimpse of the small, stone town atop the mountain, beautifully illuminated in the evening. The room is very comfortable, with air conditioning, a refrigerator, and a sheltered terrace, perfect for enjoying morning coffee or evening wine. The agritourism swimming pool boasts refreshing water and a fantastic view! The restaurant is absolutely wonderful, located in the courtyard among the stone buildings. The food is delicious, fresh, and locally sourced. The staff is very friendly, attentive, and helpful in every situation – you can feel the true hospitality and naturalness here! The beach is about a 20-minute drive away, and the beautiful town of Santa Severina is worth a visit nearby—about an hour's drive, but well worth it. Definitely one of those places you'll want to return to. I wholeheartedly recommend it!

02/01/2026: Excellent rotisserie, the perfect place when you're with friends and everyone wants something different. You can also order à la carte. Lots of vegetables, lots of Calabrian dishes (I recommend the pipi e patati, peppers with potatoes). I found this place very nice; the owners are super kind and professional. You can eat outside, along the seafront, and it's always pleasant, even in August, in the height of summer. I had some meat, strips, a plate of peas, and then, of course, the pipi e patati, as I recommended. I highly recommend it.

24/12/2025: A lovely place on a side street off the Crotone waterfront. At first, I thought it was a diner, but it's actually a small restaurant where you can enjoy excellent fresh fish and a delicious pizza. The service is attentive and friendly. They even gave us a Christmas present.

31/03/2026: We just ate here and it was delicious. The pizza di Mare was simply amazing, and the pasta was very good too. We were here at lunchtime and received very friendly and attentive service. Highly recommended!

01/03/2026: Wonderful restaurant. Attentive service without being intrusive. If you want to experience and taste Italy, this is the place for you. We are a retired couple on a five-month tour of Italy, and this is one of the best restaurants we've eaten at so far. Many thanks ♥️ to the family and team at Pizzeria "da Mario".

20/04/2026: Can not say I had anything other than ice cream, but the pistachio was very very good. Took pistachio and amarena. Had to come back to take the same again. Delicious!

18/10/2025: The ‘greeting person’ didn’t want to be there and made it very obvious. Occasionally he’d come out to glare at us, thankfully he wasn’t our server. Food was ok, not good enough to put up with that attitude!

09/10/2025: Excellent Neapolitan pizzeria, with a varied menu, which also offers fried foods and other tasty dishes.

31/03/2026: I went with a group of 10 people following a recommendation. The place was clean, but the tables were so wobbly that we had to ask for one to be replaced. The waiter was very hasty and lacked any empathy; he seemed to be in a hurry to go home (it was 8:00 PM). The pizzas were average, but they were accompanied by a good beer. Only upon leaving did we receive a warm welcome from the owner, who offered us some amaro. Prices were normal.

In addition to bread, the selection is extensive and truly caters to all tastes: mini pizzas, croissants, hot dogs, calzones, brioches, donuts, croquettes, and pacottine. The real added value is the 24-hour service: even in the evenings and at night, you can find filled croissants and hot products, which is far from a given. Perfect for breakfast, a quick snack, or a late-night break. Consistent quality, great variety, and always available make Old Bakery a reliable choice. Highly recommended.
