21/09/2025: We discovered this beautiful resort at an event we were invited to. As our first time at the Villa Maria Resort, we can confidently say that our expectations (which were already high at home because we'd heard so much about it) were far exceeded. The location is enchanting, immersed in beautifully manicured greenery, and easily accessible, just a few kilometers from the Belvedere Spinello highway exit. Impeccable service: the punctual and precise staff carried out their duties professionally and tirelessly. Excellent cuisine and a wide range of food intolerances are available. The owners, a husband and wife team, have a welcoming, professional, and yet warm approach to their guests; we immediately felt at ease. The crown jewel, in our opinion, is the manager: professional, meticulous, and attentive to his team's work, he paid close attention to his guests, even the unexpected. He gave us a short tour of the resort, showing us some of its wonderful rooms and the amazing wine cellar, where small dinners/aperitifs are also available. This will certainly be a stop on our next trip to Crotone. Highly recommended in every way, and see you soon.

14/09/2025: I recommend this fast food restaurant because it serves quality products at reasonable prices. The bread, meat, and sauces are all homemade. The owner is very kind and helpful. The service was quick and the place was quiet. Takeout is available.

04/10/2025: We spent 1-night at the B&B. We had a ground floor triple room for 2 at the back garden. The room was comfortable and the bathroom was good. There was plenty of space to park our bicycles. It is a short walk to the castle and beach, plus into the village. The location and village is great. The breakfast was disappointing. We arrived shortly after 8am and they were disorganized. Half the things were not out and the others at breakfast were questioning what was available. The cake they brought out was completely frozen and could not be cut. At around 8.30 they brought out freshly heated croissants to save the day.

19/09/2025: Nice bed and breakfast, very spacious and new rooms, very good breakfast. It also has a restaurant and pizzeria. Very friendly staff. Located a 5-minute walk from the castle beach.

12/10/2025: We went there one October evening with friends. I wasn't familiar with the place, but Salvatore and the pizza chefs welcomed us with a smile. The pizzas were excellent (I enjoyed the Sorrentina with yellow cherry tomatoes), especially the well-cooked, thin crust and easy to digest. The service was fast and attentive, and the prices were fair. Afterwards, we had a pleasant chat while sampling the typical Calabrian herb-based kaciuto. The restaurant seats about twenty people; reservations are recommended. Recommended

20/06/2025: A masterpiece of taste and beauty! For my birthday I received a cake made by "Le Delizie di Cinzia" and it was a real marvel, both for the eyes and the palate. Not the usual round cake but a square one. The decoration was spectacular: a coral effect taken care of in the smallest details, with starfish, shells and corals so realistic that they seemed real and in the center stood out the initial of my name, also with a coral effect. A truly refined personalized touch! The inside was an absolute delight: a balance of flavors between chantilly cream, brittle, mango and a touch of liqueur that made everything fresh. The brittle, in particular, added a very pleasant surprise to every bite. A cake that went far beyond expectations, beautiful to look at, delicious to taste and one of a kind. Compliments to Cinzia for her creativity and professionalism. Highly recommended for those looking for desserts that leave their mark.

24/07/2025: We were warmly welcomed by the owners, who were friendly and eager to accommodate their guests' every need. Excellent breakfasts are served in the well-kept garden. The rooms are clean and equipped with every comfort. The town center is just a 5-minute walk away. A heartfelt thank you to the owners, from Alfio and Gabriella.

05/10/2025: I recommend it 100%. It's a charming restaurant with no menu, but the owner is incredibly kind, asking questions, and suggesting various local delicacies. We ate her hot and cold appetizers, which were perfectly adequate for a meal. We ordered coffee and desserts. Everything was delicious: calamari, octopus, shrimp, salmon, and more. Even those who don't like seafood enjoyed the flavors. We didn't expect such a wonderful restaurant outside of the season. The price was adequate for the meal, even very good. The restaurant is open during limited hours, and there are no exceptions.

31/08/2025: The pizza was really, really good. I haven't had pizza like this in years, and it's incredibly hard to find anything this good these days! Congratulations! The staff is friendly, the girl even gave me a gift of candy when I left! The atmosphere is rustic, truly Neapolitan, a rare place to return to. And, what's more, the bathroom is spacious and clean! The price is fair, everything is fine, but the pizza is top notch!!!

07/10/2025: Excellent sandwich! It's a shame, though, that they allow smoking inside the covered outdoor area. Two girls continued to smoke Marlboros at the tables while the rest of the customers were eating, and none of the waiters intervened. We had to politely ask them to move.

28/09/2025: They seat us, take our orders, and only then tell us we have to vacate the table within 10 minutes. A terrible experience.

06/09/2025: I was truly impressed by this restaurant, which I discovered by chance and is located 200 meters from the hotel. The fish is exceptionally fresh, and you can taste the high-quality ingredients. Every dish I tried was cooked to perfection, enhancing the flavor of the fish without overpowering it. The service also deserves special mention: the staff was friendly and attentive to our every need, making the experience even more enjoyable. I highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to eat good fish in a welcoming atmosphere. Thank you, we'll be back.

19/08/2025: Terrible. We waited two hours for a pizza. The staff was arrogant. For the wait and the pizza, which wasn't that great, we even paid a high bill. Definitely won't be returning.

03/10/2025: Outdoor terrace with a sea view. The staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. The cornettis are highly recommended, as are the cappuccinos (which aren't a given in southern Italy).

12/08/2025: Terrible experience. Rude and impolite staff. I ordered a coffee, a bag of chips, and a bottle of water. The bar was completely empty. I waited 30 minutes for the wrong coffee. Then I asked where the bathroom was. I wish I'd never asked! Not even the worst service station in Caracas. When I pointed out the cholera-like sanitary conditions to the staff, they responded rudely. I said, "This bathroom is not suitable for a lady." The waiter replied, "Why? Do you think you're a lady?" Well, I think I've said it all: unspeakable! Dirty place, dirty glasses, indecent!
