Egidio the manager, joking and friendly, with his "gang" of collaborators keeps the place alive and the lucky travelers who pass by here happy! Low prices e.g. Coffee €1, beer €1.5, serious sandwich to feed a buffalo €3.5, with very sweet raw ham, very tasty and abundant Silano caciocavallo cheese! When you say "sandwich" a real delicacy! And if that's not enough, you can dive into the clean, rich and well-stocked cured meat counter. You won't resist the sight of so many tasty goodies! Here is a classic example of willing and capable young people! Of those who believe in what they do and do it with seriousness, great ability, a lot of passion and a lot of will! Of those who know how to look far! Who by having fun and "without emptying their pockets" cheer the palate and spirit of travelers who also find refreshment for their souls in this place! A fairytale place! What more do you want! We can't wait to return! If only for the sandwich and seeing "that half dozen" of funny guys again! Well done! With great joy, we returned after a year! I assure you that Egidio and his half dozen have remained the same as always! 02/01/2025: I was only at the property for lunch. The restaurant has a retro style, very welcoming and familiar. The dishes are simple but tasty. Excellent cleaning, I recommend it!

01/01/2025: We spent 3 days full board in this hotel. Excellent cuisine and attentive and friendly staff. Welcoming and family environment. I recommend improving the breakfast by offering local products, especially sweet and richer ones.

31/12/2024: We arrived from Catania at 2.30pm, with 4 hungry children. After several attempts in other places that either had already closed the lunch service or didn't have room for 8 people, we enter this place. We are immediately greeted cordially, the owner directs us to the room downstairs, where the guys who work there make us sit. What can I say, incredible service! The boy who served us, Andrea, was super professional as well as very nice, he gave us good advice on which courses to choose and made us laugh 4 times. The food was all delicious, chef Alessandro makes incredible fried porcini mushrooms. We also returned in the afternoon to taste their famous mandarin poncho (I don't know if it's spelled like that): a very good taste of life with a considerable alcohol content. I absolutely recommend this place.

03/09/2024: If you are traveling to Lake Cecita you cannot fail to stop at Scrivano. A relaxing place, ideal for adults and especially for children with its characteristic play area. They make a simply delicious ice cream, even the ricotta is delicious. And we are certain we will return to taste the platter and the yogurt. Everything can be summed up in one word: genuine.
