11/11/2025: Ate there lunch on Sunday and Monday: tagliatelle con porcini; fusili ragu cinghiale raviolo con tartufo; grigliata di carne misto, patate; beer and tartuffo al pistacchio (sorry for the incorrect food spelling). The visual presentation of the food was much better on Monday since it wasnt rush hour/ weekend. The beer was excellent, it is rare to find good tap beer (not flat or sour) in South of Italy. Staff and food outstanding.

05/11/2025: A rustic and welcoming place, in perfect mountain style. The staff is friendly and efficient, and the dishes are truly unique. I especially recommend the fettuccine with porcini mushrooms, potatoes with onions and mushrooms, and breaded mushrooms, a true local specialty, a must-try. Naturally, the ingredients are locally sourced and of the highest quality.

01/11/2025: Terrible experience — not recommended We arrived at the restaurant full of expectations, but unfortunately, the experience was truly disappointing. After being seated, we waited 20 minutes just to order, and another 25 minutes for just two small appetizers. After nearly 50 minutes of waiting, despite repeatedly asking for information, we were not served anything else, while other customers who arrived much later were calmly served and eating. Deciding to leave, we approached the cashier to clarify the situation, but the staff was rude and arrogant, rather than trying to resolve the issue. One waiter, in a rude tone, even said to us: "If you wanted to eat, there's a supermarket next door: go get a sandwich." Unacceptable behavior, culminating in gratuitous insults as we left the restaurant. A shame, because the place may have potential, but with this kind of service and attitude toward customers, it absolutely doesn't deserve to be recommended.

30/09/2025: Three Swiss guys on racing bikes! Very hungry! They were looking for lodging and some authentic Calabrian cuisine... they found it at this place and were more than satisfied—thanks to their dear host.

08/11/2025: I was cycling along the Calabrian Park Road... The hotel has a wonderful, authentic charm. Everything is very well-maintained and clean. A warm welcome from father and son. Dinner in a stylish retro restaurant, with linen tablecloths, candles, etc., was of outstanding quality, and the wine recommendations were perfect for the appetizer and main course. 02/10/2025: I rarely write reviews for average establishments. I usually do so if I'm particularly happy or unhappy with them. Almost never if asked. In this case, the review is extremely positive. Excellent staff in every area and excellent food. I'd say the fact that the establishment isn't modern allows for excellent value, and it's all managed by a great person, Rodolfo, a man of few words but great sensitivity. A place worth visiting because it does good in every sense.

20/10/2025: Located in the center of Camigliatello Silano, it's an excellent location. Modest, clean rooms, excellent, friendly, and helpful staff. Their trattoria was also delicious, simple, and homely. The dishes were generous. It's all run by the Barrese family, warm, kindhearted people! Greetings from Brindisi 🫶🏻❤️

20/10/2025: Beautiful B&B, excellent location right in the center, wonderful owners make you feel at home. The breakfast is very generous, with homemade pies. The restaurant is also fantastic, the food is simply delicious, top-notch, home-cooked food, delicious, homemade pasta. The staff is wonderful, attentive to the guests' needs, and they put their heart into it. I highly recommend both the B&B and the restaurant ❤️ Family-run, people who truly put their heart into their work ❤️

19/08/2025: Spectacular Sila sandwich, a bit of a wait during peak hours, but worth it. I'm downgrading my review from 5 to 3 stars because they don't respect the closing time listed on the Google page, which is supposed to be 5:00 PM, but I found it closed at 4:10 PM.

19/10/2025: Kudos to Fulvio and his staff. Last Sunday we had a wonderful meal, with quality food and generous portions. We've now decided this will be our go-to restaurant in Camigliatello.

03/11/2025: Coming to Camigliatello means stopping at Barrese: the authenticity of the products is the hallmark, and the flavor of every single ingredient evokes the Sila region! The sandwich is perfect for a quick lunch break, especially thanks to the small picnic area next to the shop. Thanks to the always super welcoming staff for letting us breathe in the fresh air and for this unique combination of flavors!

26/10/2025: We've been to Camigliatello many times, but this year we decided to dine here. Besides the welcoming and beautifully decorated atmosphere, the friendly and helpful staff were also there. Not to mention the food: we ordered a fillet steak brought to us on a stone and grilled mushrooms and porcini mushrooms. What can I say: FANTASTIC! A must-see for anyone visiting these parts who wants good Calabrian food! It's not just a place to eat, but a veritable covered market. The selection and quality of the products are simply breathtaking.

17/09/2025: The Silano Market is a must-try! Fresh, authentic produce, flavor, kindness, professionalism, good food, and culture. The market is all of this. We were inside, five of us, and we tried the cured meats and cheeses, requesting a platter for five, and we were well-pleased. We tried the mpacchiuse potatoes with two different flavors, and words can't describe them; they're a must-try. We added a portion of fried meatballs, different from what I'm used to, but still very tasty. To finish, there was a sandwich with a choice of meat for everyone, and here too, with fresh mushrooms, sausage, sauces, and everything else, the 5 stars are well-deserved. We'll definitely be returning. The prices aren't low, but they're not outrageous either; you pay for quality and professionalism. Oh, and I forgot, the craft beer is fantastic.

12/11/2025: A highly recommended restaurant if you want to eat well and be served with kindness and courtesy. A quaint place and excellent food! You can taste the local produce, and the prices are fair for the quality of the dishes. Congratulations! We recommend the mpacchiuse potatoes, a must try!

27/10/2025: On Sunday, October 26th, we went to eat at this restaurant. There were four of us. We ate very well and the price was right. The staff were friendly and the place was clean. They also do pizza in the evening. I will definitely return, so I recommend it even if you're passing through Camigliatello. It might be worth booking, though, as the place was packed.
