Giuseppe, ironic, kind and prompt in taking care of us, made us understand from the moment we entered that we were in the right place. The dishes are a delight, carefully prepared and very tasty. The portions are generous and never the result of cheap cuisine. Quality is always the most important thing. Even simple frying is the product of perfect and expert cooking. The fish is fresh and the dishes are elaborated without ever overshadowing the original flavor of the fine raw materials.

In this place you will have the opportunity to taste typical traditional products with super fresh and quality ingredients. Every dish that was brought to us was a discovery of indescribable flavours, exceptional and to say the least. Last night I tasted real stockfish and it was a explosion of flavors. A dessert "in a jar" to be enjoyed with a spoon was the finishing touch of a delicious dinner. I highly recommend this place to all lovers of good food!" I will come back to visit you®️

25/01/2024: Good evening, I discovered this wonder in early December and while browsing the internet it showed me that Pasticceria Scutella' is among the best in Reggio Calabria. I purchased the mixed 1kg pack of nougats plus two other small packs and in addition also the Gianduia panettone because I'm not a fan of candied fruit. When the package arrived at home I opened it and saw that the panettone was pistachio. By writing to the pastry shop I explained the mix-up and after a few days they sent me the famous Gianduia panettone without charging me and without asking me for the other one back. What can I say, very kind people and even the pistachio panettone was a sublime "discovery" like naturally the one at Gianduia. Unique and different from all the other artisanal panettoni I have eaten, equally fabulous nougats. What can I say, definitely recommended.

09/03/2024: We ended up there by pure chance but on the other hand we were extremely satisfied. The place is nice and welcoming. Francesco, an excellent host, welcomed us with great kindness and kindness. My guests said they were very satisfied with the dishes, in particular with the cooked and raw meat. Very good desserts. Everything presented very well. As the only semi-vegetarian, I was offered a good alternative. Definitely coming back! Advised!
14/01/2024: Small, cozy and fantastic place; everything super clean. Food not of quantity but of quality, the meat melted in my mouth; some would say a little expensive but if you want to eat well you have to spend. Owner and staff approachable, friendly and nice. Highly recommended

03/03/2024: Legendary pub and immense jazz club, one of a kind, as well as the most important in our Calabria Naturally, much of the credit must be attributed to the unique and immeasurable Mimmo Pitasi and his family I hadn't been to this place for a few years, the last time I was there as a musical guest with my jazz quartet This evening I returned with my wife and a couple of friends and of course everything was perfect, from the welcome to the food, and to the end of the evening Many thanks to Mimmo and his family for the wonderful hospitality shown to us Until next time!!!

26/03/2024: A very pleasant surprise. We found it by chance together with my wife. A place abroad that is far from welcoming, but very often it is the first step towards eating and feeling great. The guys in the room are kind young people and you can see from 1000 km how they care about everything working well. The food is really of excellent quality (I ate a fantastic podolica tart), mushroom pasta with a truly remarkable aroma and flavour. Potatoes, sausage, Caciocavallo, top... in short, we are still 2 steps away from Sila and these dishes are a must here. Black pig with pistachio to eat and eat and eat again! 😁 Super highly recommended
23/03/2024: The Calabrian cuisine that everyone likes Welcoming environment and typical cuisine that makes you feel at home. Selected local raw materials, such as black pig cured meats and Silani cheeses. The chef's rigatoni with sausage, mushrooms and Nduja are superlative, as is the Mpacchiuse potato pie, sausage and caciocavallo Silano DOP. The pizza is very good, simple without creating pizzas with three thousand ingredients on it.
