07/08/2024: We had dinner at Butcher on July 24th, passing through Verona. We highly recommend this place which is located a few steps from the Arena, in a quiet street. The rooms are well-kept and modern, welcoming and sophisticated at the same time. A treat for the eyes even before the palate. That evening a light rain did not allow us to dine outdoors and we were therefore welcomed inside. It is striking that although the kitchen is visible, no odor is perceptible in the environment, another sign of the care and attention given to the customer in terms of design. The lack of smells must naturally not be mistaken for a lack of taste: from the first reading the menu reveals a careful search for the raw material, with a visible eye for seasonality and territoriality. The taste does not disappoint: the dishes are presented with extreme elegance and the flavors are excellent. Remarkable are the tartare, the lavender porchetta and the meatballs, served on a revisited carbonara cream. The meal is also accompanied by an amuse-bouche designed by the chef and homemade bread and breadsticks: a further sign of attention and care that embellishes the service. Even the wine list reveals careful study and non-trivial research, confirmed by the very elegant open cellar located on the first floor. The staff, starting from the owners, will accompany you in the tasting with professionalism and friendliness: Butcher seemed to us to be a familiar but not homely environment in which we hope to return soon to repeat our experience.

25/07/2024: We went with the whole family for dinner, we were eight adults and two children. Since it was the first time, we opted for the tasting menu, just to get an overall idea of ​​the offer. We were all satisfied, from the welcome entree to the dessert. The waiters are very kind and attentive. Truly a beautiful evening. I advise.

25/08/2024: Absolutely Perfect First of all, the place is cool, in the heart of Valpolicella, with convenient parking The restaurant fits well into the context with a large outdoor terrace and a beautiful internal room The service is super courteous and attentive But the best are the dishes All excellent ingredients Try the lardo, the soppressa with garlic and polenta and don't miss the home-made giardiniera So the starters are a temptation In addition to the menu of the day I recommend: For the first courses, the tagliatelle 1956 are a must The dumplings are handmade I tried the wild garlic ones with provolone and they are balanced and light For carnivores the cuts of meat are exceptional The origin and breed are indicated on the menu The bill, considering the quality, is good I propose this taste experience to you Unfortunately I won't talk to you about the wines But overall I am very satisfied

25/08/2024: Carne veramente ma veramente eccezionale. Costata americana e Picana al top. Consiglio le patate al forno cotte alla perfezione e, soprattutto non erano riscaldate ma appena cucinate.

12/08/2024: La carne è molto buona, si sente la qualità nella scelta del prodotto. L'unica pecca è il prezzo elevato, nel piatto consiglierei di inserire almeno un po di verdura a guarnizione, invece di doverla ordinare a parte.

18/07/2024: Pessimo , 22 € piatto di carne con dentro 150gr. di carne servita fredda , ti portano da bere 1/2 ora prima , così diventa calda specie se è birra , ho dovuta prendere un amburgher per non uscire affamato , non ci torno neanche se regalano il cibo....

15/08/2024: Cena di compleanno per la mia compagna! Locale a conduzione familiare, con pochi coperti. Staff gentile e disponibile! Lo consiglio se si vuole mangiare un buona Fiorentina con patate (eccezionali). Antipasto di affettati e un calice di vino a testa, oltre al dolce! Tutto molto buono, conto un po’ alto ma tutto sommato nella media considerando cosa si mangia e la qualità del prodotto!

24/07/2024: We returned after years to savor their delicacies, obviously if you don't book, it's difficult to find a place, it went well for us because there were only two of us. We took two medium-rare ribs with baked potatoes, I must say that the meat was very tender and cooked very well and the potatoes were phenomenal, all washed down with some house wine. We had a very good time, perhaps a bit of confusion due to a table that continued to make noise without respecting the other customers. Parking outside on the street after 6pm is free, so you can park without paying for parking. I congratulate the boy who prepared the meat despite the infernal heat emanating from the embers. Price normal. I recommend to everyone.

20/07/2024: Excellent quality of ingredients, we ordered the Tex-Mex part of the menu and had a great time, everything was tasty. We are curious to try the burgers, we will try them!

13/06/2024: I placed an order for home delivery, very punctual. The burgers were excellent, as were the chips, the churros and the chesse cake. Definitely worth trying again.

The food is excellent, they know their business, and the outdoor grill offers a great view of the chef in the stands. The pasta is as expected...I recommend it. of course, it will not work without a reservation.

18/08/2024: We went there rather inconspicuously from the outside because the reviews were quite good, which I absolutely cannot understand. The staff was more than just unfriendly (annoyed when we didn't know what we wanted to eat after 5 minutes + because we didn't speak Italian and the staff therefore had to switch to English). When asked about communication problems, the response was only annoyed, if at all. The food wasn't exactly a 10/10 either. The food arrived shortly after we ordered, but it was clear that the burger we ordered, for example, was a finished product from mass production. The mushrooms on the pizza were also from a jar and tasted more than strange. Since then we have had extreme stomach problems. How do we know it was because of that food? We had hardly eaten anything that day except for drinks and ice cream, and we weren't able to eat anything the day after because of the stomach pain. That was the first and last time we ate there. More than just disappointed!

30/06/2024: I recently had the pleasure of visiting this beautiful venue. The environment is nice and clean, the staff is courteous and professional. The food is delicious, especially the meat is spectacular. I also really enjoyed the caipirinha.

29/05/2024: Churrascaria Porto Alegre in the center of Verona. Before starting it is a must to drink the caipirinha. Excellent buffet before tasting his majesty the churrasco with 9 swords of Brazilian meat. Courteous and friendly staff. I'll be back for sure.

22/07/2024: Ovviamente ognuno avrà la sua opinione, io cercherò sinteticamente di dare la mia: arriviamo alle 12,45, ordiniamo pochi minuti dopo. Alle 13,15 arrivano i piatti per i bambini (ottimi maccheroncini al ragù, ma porzione modesta, si sono ingozzati di pane..sono bambini...) e la focaccia con il lardo per gli adulti. Intanto arriva un altro gruppo, si siedono, ordinano e dopo pochissimo gli arrivani i primi piatti. Alle 14,00 ( un ora abbondante dopo aver ordinato) arrivano i primi su due vassoi (lasagnette ai porcini...porcini non pervenuti e funghi misto bosco palesemente dalla busta surgelati.....+ bigoli al guanciale, molto ben preparati e buoni). Porzioni appena sufficienti. Alle ore 14,50 arriva il maialino al forno: tenero, poco saporito e porzione anche questa davvero appena sufficiente. Alle 15 passate beviamo il caffè e andiamo a pagare. Due ore e mezza per un pranzo che mi ha lasciato un po di fame nello stomaco....in un agriturismo che serve nei vassoi mi sarei aspettato molta più sostanza. Delle 3 portate salvo i bigoli con il guanciale.... Lascio stare il commento sarcastico ricevuto alla domanda che abbiamo fatto dopo un ora che aspettavamo il primo...lascio stare il fatto che da loro la birra media è da 0,3l. Mi spiace molto, ma per me è stata un esperienza negativa, forse ho avuto sfortuna...

13/07/2024: Ottimo posto, ottimo cibo, ottimo tutto. Posto molto rilassante dove puoi ammirare il panorama di Verona, cibo di altissima qualità tutto casereccio e personale altamente qualificato e cortese. Una bellissima esperienza, da rifare.
