14/03/2026: I've been to many pizzerias in Verona, but I have to say that the vegetarian pizza I had today at San Mattia is one of the best ever! With seasonal vegetables! Well done!

10/03/2026: Stunning view, very good pizza, and a picture-perfect location. We hiked up to San Mattia, and it was definitely worth it. The restaurant is located on the Torricelle, in an incredible panoramic position: from the terrace, you can see practically all of Verona lit up, with the Arena in the distance and the surrounding hills. The atmosphere is very pleasant, especially if you manage to snag a table outside with the warm weather just around the corner. One of the best pizzas I've had in Verona lately, nothing like the typical touristy ones in the city center. The service was friendly and attentive despite the restaurant being packed (it was a Saturday night). The waiters were quick and available to offer recommendations. The prices were reasonable for the quality and location: nothing out of the ordinary considering the view and the quality of the ingredients. The only small drawback: parking can be a bit chaotic on weekends if you don't arrive early, but there is free parking nearby. Highly recommended for those looking for a relaxed evening with a breathtaking view and a pizza (or other typical cuisine) that's above average in Verona. We recommend it to anyone passing through Verona! 🌄🍕

The food is excellent for the price. The pizza ingredients sometimes leave something to be desired, but in my opinion, they're good. I'll definitely be back. Best pizza in the area. 06/12/2025: An excellent property for a pleasant stay in Soave. The rooms are quiet, spacious, comfortable, and modern. The staff is very professional, friendly, and helpful. The breakfast is plentiful, excellent, and varied. Prices are average and in line with what's on offer. Parking is available in front of the property or in the large free parking lots nearby. Highly recommended.

16/07/2025: Quiet, relaxing location. Surrounded by nature, with trails for everyone. Very close (15 minutes by car) to a city with plenty of potential (Belluno). Perfect for a relaxing holiday.

29/12/2025: A classic place, one of the few restaurants still entirely family-run, the old-fashioned way... It's not a place to expect an exceptional location, but the warm welcome from the staff is exceptional. It feels like being at your grandmother's house, with dishes cooked by her... Special and you wish they would never end! Overall, I recommend it for typical Venetian food, from €20 to €30 depending on what you order.

02/01/2026: I know the place well, and we're aware of its reputation for being an extremely good place, but its prices aren't always affordable. With that necessary premise in mind, we go for an aperitivo anyway, where we ask the waitress for two glasses of wine: a classic method and a fruity still white, and the very kind waitress offers to suggest options for us. We serve a Slovenian Chardonnay and an Enrico Serafino Alta Langa classic method. Everything is perfect, except that when we ask for the bill, the Slovenian wine is listed at €4.50, while the second one is €14.50, a price that I honestly consider excessive, considering it's not champagne and that if you buy a bottle privately at the wine shop, it costs €25. We would certainly have appreciated it if the waitress, when she suggested the wine, had shared the cost per glass with us in advance.

24/11/2025: Kudos to all the staff, masterfully led by the owner. Impeccable service, knowledgeable sommelier, and an extensive wine list. Creative chef and undeniably perfect flavor combinations. I highly recommend it.

09/03/2026: High-quality grilled meat at a fair price... so, ladies and gentlemen, I RECOMMEND!! A well-stocked menu and good-quality meat: mixed grill with spectacular and abundant tagliata for less than €20, while the tagliata is gigantic and cooked to perfection. First courses are plentiful and delicious. The wait is normal, the staff are competent and professional, even though they don't spend much time in the smaller rooms; just make yourself heard politely. The atmosphere is like a rustic, informal tavern with an open kitchen as you enter. If we really want to find a flaw, for our picky friends, the bread was a bit hard, but since it was Sunday, that's perfectly understandable... To the complainers, I say: eat a breadstick!!

01/03/2026: Everything was very good, the fettuccine with truffle was a disappointment to our taste, the mixed cold cuts appetizer was very good, the grilled meats were excellent. I'm curious about the Florentine steak, which we will definitely try. Then the surprise pizza, we ordered one and took it home, delicious. We will be back.

05/03/2026: The package was disappointing. The vongole came with five clams, but three were just shells. Grilled cod, or perhaps grilled fish, tasted a bit fishy, ​​and the partition between the locals and foreigners was a bit uncomfortable. The vongole pasta was just pasta, clams, and olive oil. It had no flavor, not even parsley, garlic, or peperoncino.

07/02/2026: Unfortunately I didn't eat any, the meat seemed reheated, the first course had little flavor and the rice was a little too al dente... the desserts seemed to have been bought at the supermarket.

26/10/2025: We went for lunch today. We ordered pizza, a hamburger, and a steak. The food was delicious, the hamburger meat was very good. The steak was perfectly cooked and seasoned. The pizza was really good! The service was very friendly. The place is also nice and well-maintained, and the bathroom is clean. The only downside was that we found a hair in my husband's meal. We reported it to the staff, and the meal was immediately replaced. I thought we'd get something credited to our account, a free dessert, or a free coffee. Unfortunately, no.

26/10/2025: Quiet evening, Saturday in late October, not crowded. The waiter was unsuitable; he forgot the order, and when we called him back after half an hour to at least get a drink, he became threatening, as if he'd received the worst insult imaginable. After an hour of waiting, we reordered because there was no sign of the first order. The waiter was once again rude, with manners unbecoming of his job. I credit my co-workers, who were serving the nearby tables, with better manners, traceable orders, and shorter wait times. Food: Mediocre pizza, terrible fried food, a nightmare. Terrible evening.
