09/02/2025: I never expected to find such a particular restaurant in a historic village of medieval origin in Asciano. The visible embers and the cut of the meat in show cooking as well as the cold cuts and cheese platters make everything very instagrammable, but I would have expected Tuscan meat and not German one like the one I ate (Simmental) with TAGLIO Fiorentina, therefore not a REAL Fiorentina. All in all we ate well but the price was too high, around €100 per person for 2 appetizers, 1 simmental (meat) cut Fiorentina 1kg and around €300 for a potato and radicchio as a side dish and a €35 wine Ps we recommend arriving by 12.30pm max 1.00pm they close early on Sundays for lunch.

05/01/2025: Impeccable experience… Excellent service and selection of wines paired with the dishes. The dishes are those of the Tuscan tradition but with that pinch of sprint that doesn't hurt. The lamb rump was simply divine.

23/01/2025: When you understand it, it's a must to stop by, extraordinary food, beautiful and well-kept environment, impeccable service not to mention the cellar and the service regarding the wine top marks!!! I highly recommend it!!!

07/01/2025: Andrea's restaurant is the highlight of our visits to Montepulciano! He and his staff are welcoming, kind, attentive, give great suggestions and will make sure you have the best experience. The handmade pasta is some of the best we've had in Tuscany, and Andrea recommended the rabbit (many of us have never had it before) and it was the star dish at the table! We had: the vegetable flan, hand-pulled pici with classic Tuscan ragout, fresh spaghetti alla chitarra with white goose ragout and black garlic cream, nettle gnocchi with saffron cream, chives and crispy bacon, suckling pig with garden vegetables, apple and mustard, beef with spinach, the rabbit spacial and side of roasted potatoes. Beautiful wine cellar, high quality Tuscan cuisine, and a great spot for the kids to explore all the artefacts displayed on the way to the bathroom. You can't miss this spot!

23/01/2025: Michele was truly a surprise, a unique character. We didn't stay long, but we really appreciated their proposals. Attentive service in the girls, but not for the guy. Maybe on a bad day, but in any case it absolutely does not affect the great quality of the products and their goodness and attention to care in preparation and presentation.

06/01/2025: Un bel albergo situato al centro di varie località. Stanza spaziosa ed accogliente. La signora Margherita è un ottima padrona di casa gentile e disponibile per ogni informazione. Migliorerei solamente un po di più la pulizia.

28/12/2024: "Warm" and jovial welcome, comfortable and spacious bed, wi-fi and TV. The only flaw was that the room wasn't warm enough when we arrived. Then by increasing the temperature (the owner helped us with this) the nights passed well. In conclusion, I highly recommend it also because they served us a rich and delicious breakfast.
