10/01/2026: We spent a few days in Pistoia for the Christmas holidays, and on the evening of January 1st, craving a nice Florentine steak, we stumbled upon this typical trattoria. They offer a fixed-price menu, which I recommend, which includes mixed appetizers, a Florentine steak of a weight appropriate for the number of guests, three side dishes, and a dessert. Drinks are not included. The owner, like the staff, is incredibly welcoming. You can tell they really care about explaining the quality and provenance of the meat. Oh! By the way, aside from appetizers and side dishes: THEY ONLY EAT MEAT! It's a real steakhouse; they don't do first courses, they don't do fish... What a steak, folks! Served on piping hot plates so it doesn't get cold, and cut at the table by the owner himself. The only flaw: they served us French meat. Good, tender, but not the most flavorful. I would have preferred local meat. Anyway, I recommend it. It's worth it.

06/01/2026: This traditional Tuscan restaurant is located on Via Sant'Andrea in Pistoia, in a beautiful medieval building restored with exposed brick and stone. Enjoy fabulous grilled meats and traditional dishes with tasty crostini, excellent cured meats, side dishes, and appetizers, accompanied by a wide selection of white and red wines. The owners, with great professionalism and kindness, recommend these wines, turning a simple dinner into a truly exquisite culinary experience. The restaurant is truly beautiful, meticulously maintained, and fantastic for photographs. Excellent in every way! The food, wines, hospitality, and sophistication. Recommended restaurant!

03/01/2026: A lovely surprise. The place and owners were welcoming, the dishes were exceptionally delicious. And the quality/price ratio was excellent. We'll be back. Well done.

01/12/2025: Unfortunately, we had a terrible experience. We ordered the Florentine steak, but when it arrived, we realized it was cold. We asked for it to be reheated, and they brought it back cold. Plus, some pieces of meat were missing. We were told there had been a mistake in the kitchen, and those missing pieces were from another steak being prepared for another table. We've never had anything like this happen at another restaurant. Needless to say, we left unsatisfied and without ordering anything else.

12/01/2026: You can eat well even on New Year's Eve!!!

11/01/2026: We arrived at the restaurant after about a 35-minute drive, finding it in a rather remote area, to dine with a couple of friends who were already waiting for us inside. Only at the door were we informed that our dog was not allowed in, without any prior information either on the website or when booking. The restaurant, moreover, wasn't crowded, so we believed an alternative solution could have been found. The result was that we were forced to eat separately from our friends, ruining what was supposed to be a convivial evening. We understand that every restaurant has its own rules, but the lack of clarity and flexibility, as well as common sense, negatively impacted the overall experience.

11/11/2025: We reserved a table for five on Sunday morning, specifying our arrival time as 1:30 PM. As soon as we arrived, we noticed a general discontent among the tables and people near the restaurant. I asked about our reserved table, and with extremely poor manners, they told us we could leave because there had been a mix-up with the reservations. Six other customers outside explained that they too were shocked, having booked. I ALWAYS excuse mistakes in the restaurant industry because I know it's never easy having to juggle all the myriad things that go on in this world. A simple gesture of apology, a voucher for a dinner, a glass of wine, and two appetizers, and a call to let them know of the inconvenience given the distance from any other activity in the restaurant would have been enough to ease the situation, but instead, nothing. I generally only review places I enjoy, so as not to discredit or negatively review places I don't enjoy, and thus influence other customers. However, given my politeness, I feel I can't help but share my, unfortunately, bad experience. Despite everything, I will try to rebook and have the opportunity to change my mind about the management of the place; I would be truly happy.

26/09/2025: Lovely authentic Tuscan dishes in the best authentic surroundings with the most beautiful view. Highly recommended.
