10/12/2025: Meat for gentlemen, I say no more

09/12/2025: The place is beautiful, the food is decent, the service is pitiful. The girl, either the owner or her daughter, lacks experience. Whatever we asked for, there was no Prosecco, no fried food because they'd cleaned the fryer, no Sassicaia grappa (an empty bottle was there for show). Instead, they offered another fine barrique grappa, served with a sort of dropper, rightly underpriced but paid full price... What can I say?! Disappointed.

20/10/2025: Yesterday, October 19, we went to this quaint restaurant for lunch. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, the food excellent, and the staff very kind and professional. The homemade pasta is sublime, as are the desserts, even the homemade ones. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to spend a day surrounded by chestnut trees and to anyone who wants to enjoy the authentic flavors of yesteryear, featuring all kinds of game. We'll definitely be back.

06/10/2025: A nice place and excellent service, but unfortunately, that's where the positives end. The appetizers were made with good ingredients but presented in a sparse and incomplete way, the first courses were absolutely bland, and the desserts were barely adequate. However, the "Spiedone" (skewer) was a positive choice, as it was truly delicious. For three appetizers, two first courses, a second course, two side dishes (good), three desserts, half a liter of house wine, and three coffees, we spent €147. Despite the general increase in restaurant prices, you can eat much better for less.

26/11/2025: LUCIDO HAS ITS VALUE! (and its price) Dinner for 2 friends, wanting to relax, and excellent food: and we succeeded! ATMOSPHERE Welcoming, well-prepared, very intimate, with very few tables (maybe 5/7 in total, I think). Perfect for listening to the flavors rather than your neighbors (as often happens, unfortunately!). Small and quiet. FOOD Normal appetizers, at least the crostini, but good quantity. Truly EXCELLENT meat, and prepared with Exceptional Love. PURE RAW MATERIALS, DEDICATION, AND PREPARATION. FINISHING: DESSERTS + LIQUORS Good portion and presentation, average. Mixed liquor tastings: DIVINE Superior quality products, even in the spirits. Moreover, expertly explained to fully appreciate them. WINE The selection by the glass isn't huge, but that's fine. What I think could be improved are the prices per glass. €7, €8, and even €18 for a glass seem excessive for someone who wants to have just one glass! DETAILS TO KNOW (and appreciate) 1. Serve the (empty) plates by cleaning them elegantly beforehand; I've only seen that in movies. 2. A meat thermometer: Another Pro. 3. Letting the empty plate on which you serve the meat sit on the stone fireplace, so that it retains as much heat as possible, seemed exceptional to me. The "red" lamp is common, but "warming the plate" to avoid a thermal shock seems like a detail not appreciated by many. 4. For the first time in history, when I asked for just 1 glass of wine, they left the (unopened) bottle of the corresponding wine on the table so I could actually see what I was enjoying... It's never happened to me! I rarely drink just 1 glass, it's true! ; ) 5. Absolute transparency when choosing to pay in cash or with card: that is, no fuss or discounts. The price is there, period. And I think it's fair. SUMMARY: That's all that happened... And if you've read this far, I'm sure you'll come prepared. It seems clear to me that this isn't a place for birthday parties with large tables, or for young people wanting to party. But finally, it's a SPACE FOR THOSE WHO WANT TO FEEL GOOD AND ENJOY THEIR QUALITY, WELL-PREPARED FOOD. Of course, with the associated prices, it's always good to be aware of that! ENJOY !

07/11/2025: We had the opportunity to visit this wonderful restaurant during our holiday in Tuscany. It boasts a cozy atmosphere and a fireplace that doubles as a grill. The food was excellent and prepared with care. The meat was the star of the show, of high quality and incredibly tender. Highly recommended.

07/10/2025: We had a lovely evening! Every dish was delicious; I was amazed by the delicious caponata. My compliments to the entire staff. When I have to recommend a great restaurant, I'll definitely mention this one.

22/10/2025: The food and atmosphere were very good, as were the reasonable prices. The wait was very short and excellent. The service was also good, but a hair stuck out in the chocolate salami (edit: I had the wrong dessert, I couldn't remember which one). Reservations recommended.

13/10/2025: Disappointing experience We booked through the number provided, which sent a link on WhatsApp to complete the reservation. Everything seemed perfect: I received the official confirmation and even a reminder message the same day. Unfortunately, when we arrived at the restaurant, it was closed. We tried to contact the number provided, but it was either non-existent or deactivated, making it impossible to get information or assistance. The situation was extremely difficult for us: there were six of us, with two small children, in Procchio, where there were no other restaurants open that evening. A disappointing and unprofessional experience. The reservation system should be managed with greater care and reliability.

The table setting, in particular, contributes to a sophisticated atmosphere. The lighting and table layout ensure privacy and pleasant conversation. The real star of the evening was, without a doubt, the meat. The meat, presented to the table before cooking, displayed perfect marbling. The flavor was complex and deep, a true triumph of umami that melted in the mouth. A meat that tells a story of breeding and aging. The service proved to be commensurate with the quality of the cuisine. The staff is the service: extremely knowledgeable and discreet, with a deep knowledge of each cut. Ricardo, in particular, was able to passionately recommend a robust red wine pairing and explained the exact provenance of the meat. Fuoco alla Torre is a memorable experience that elevates the concept of a steakhouse to the next level. This isn't an everyday restaurant, but the ultimate destination for those seeking the ultimate in luxury meat. Highly recommended for anyone looking to celebrate a special occasion with uncompromising culinary quality.

06/11/2025: The food, unfortunately, lacked flavor overall. The carbonara was quite watery and resembled scrambled eggs more than a proper sauce. The ravioli was edible but undercooked—closer to raw than al dente—and the ragù sauce was also watery and bland. We also ordered the controfiletto with truffle sauce; while the sauce was fine, the meat wasn’t cooked as requested (we asked for rare). The only dish we truly enjoyed was the pizza—it was good and well-prepared. That said, the place itself is beautiful: quiet, comfortable, and full of potential. With a bit more attention to flavor and preparation, it could easily become one of the best spots to eat in town.

13/10/2025: We were passing through Cecina and looking for a place to stop for lunch. We stumbled upon this place by chance and were very pleased, from the friendly and helpful staff to the delicious food and well-maintained restaurant. We had the ribs, which I highly recommend.
