26/10/2024: I'm sorry dear Mr. Angelo, but this time it was a real disappointment... I have come several times during my holidays on Elba for 15 years now, on the evening of August 15th, 5 of us spent 330.00 euros for three VEGETABLE appetizers, two sliced ​​meats, a squid, two fish (them alone cost almost 140.00 euros...) a bottle of "cheaper" wine and four coffees... a real exaggeration, there are certainly locations much more suggestive, on the sea, with excellent cuisine and lower prices... it pains me to say it but it was my last time at Pilade. Good continuation.

Mio marito amante della Fiorentina abbiamo deciso di fare una tappa a San Vincenzo e cenare al Relais della Fiorentina. Mai scelta fu più azzecata. Carne di alta qualità. vedere cucinare la fiorentina è uno spettacolo chi la cucina ha una vera passione. Il sevizio impeccabile del papà e i dolci della mamma ottimi. Tant'è che ci siamo andati anche la sera dopo. Peccato che abitiamo lontani.. Un posto che consigliamo vivamente..

20/03/2025: Perfect location if you want to eat a good chicken quickly!!! There are also sandwiches, vegetables and chips. Very good cutting board. But the recommended dish is not by chance, the whole cockerel normal or spicy. Both very good. In summer the reservation is a must but if you are not in a hurry they can make you eat quickly. Very good organized.

25/02/2025: After we made the mistake of trying to go out to eat at 9pm and then spent 1 1/2 hours looking for a parking space 😅, we needed a restaurant whose kitchen was still open at 10:30pm. That's why we chose this restaurant. The service was very friendly and the atmosphere was extremely inviting. A restaurant with charm and a beautiful view. We ordered a carpaccio (for 2) and as a secondi a mixed fish platter (for 2). Both were presented very attractively and looked delicious. The quality was top and the seasoning was spot on. However, two things weren't so great: 1. The carpaccio was cut way too thick. 2. There were 4 different types of seafood on the fish platter: 2 different fish fillets, shrimp and squid. Unfortunately, one of the fish fillets and the squid were cooked far too long and were therefore category shoe soles. However, the other half of the plate was perfectly cooked and very tasty! However, the competent service employee immediately noticed that the fish was not cooked well and gave us a €10 discount (!!) on his own initiative! That's what I call good service! All in all we were satisfied. Thank you. 😊
