10/10/2024: Abbiamo scperto questo posto grazie a una conversazione fatta all'isola D' Elba con un conoscente. Mio marito amante della Fiorentina abbiamo deciso di fare una tappa a San Vincenzo e cenare al Relais della Fiorentina. Mai scelta fu più azzecata. Carne di alta qualità. vedere cucinare la fiorentina è uno spettacolo chi la cucina ha una vera passione. Il sevizio impeccabile del papà e i dolci della mamma ottimi. Tant'è che ci siamo andati anche la sera dopo. Peccato che abitiamo lontani.. Un posto che consigliamo vivamente..

10/10/2024: Price/performance is great. Very friendly service and the meat is simply amazing. There were 4 of us and we paid around €45 per person with a starter, main course, dessert and wine.

25/10/2024: I had the pleasure of having lunch several times at the Il Castagno da Nichi restaurant and I was always impressed by the quality of the food and the welcoming atmosphere. The restaurant is located in a picturesque location, immersed in the Tuscan scrub. The interior is rustic and welcoming, with exposed beams and wooden furnishings. The menu offers a vast selection of typical Tuscan dishes, all prepared with fresh, high-quality ingredients. Every time I set foot at Castagno da Nichi it's like coming home. The familiar and welcoming atmosphere, combined with the quality of the food, always excites me.

26/10/2024: I'm sorry dear Mr. Angelo, but this time it was a real disappointment... I have come several times during my holidays on Elba for 15 years now, on the evening of August 15th, 5 of us spent 330.00 euros for three VEGETABLE appetizers, two slices, a squid, two fish (almost 140.00 euros for them alone...) a bottle of "cheaper" wine and four coffees... a real exaggeration, surely there are much more expensive locations suggestive, on the sea, with excellent cuisine and lower prices... it pains me to say it but it was my last time at Pilade. Good continuation.

24/08/2024: Perfect experience! Excellent food accompanied by a selection of high quality wines. The place is taken care of down to the smallest details starting from the mise en place. Friendly and attentive staff, always ready to follow the customer course after course. If you are not a meat expert or don't know what to choose, they will be able to recommend the perfect dish according to your tastes and needs. A place that conquers not only for the location and the details, but above all for the excellent quality of the raw materials which give life to excellent, innovative dishes with a unique flavour.

23/08/2024: I was quite disappointed with my fire experience at the tower that I had heard so much about. As soon as the Florentine was brought to me, I was immediately struck by its impeccable presentation. However, once I started cutting and tasting it, I noticed that the meat wasn't up to par with the cost I paid. The taste of the Florentine was discreet, but I wasn't particularly impressed. What really disappointed me was the texture of the meat, which proved difficult to chew due to too many ribs. I found it difficult to fully enjoy it due to this inconvenience. I cannot deny that the service and atmosphere of the restaurant were good, but in the end, for me, the food is always the focal point of a restaurant dinner and unfortunately in this case it did not live up to expectations, also not giving importance to my comment. I hope that the restaurant can improve the quality of the meat offered to its customers in the future or that we at least do something to accommodate a dissatisfied customer.

Muy discriminatorio hacia los estadounidenses, ya que no les darán utensilios a los estadounidenses (diciendo que no) sin embargo, una familia italiana sentada justo al lado de nosotros no les dieron ningún problema. Si estás buscando que te obliguen a comer como un hombre medieval a punto de contraer la peste bubónica obligándote a excavar en un cadáver de pollo y poniéndolo debajo de tus uñas 🤮🤢, este es el lugar para ti. Su increíble disgusto por los extranjeros hizo que toda la época medieval fuera tan sabrosa como sus papas fritas al microondas.

21/12/2024: We entered and our reservation (taken twice) was non-existent. They still let us sit only because there was half an empty room (thank God). We waited half an hour for a mediocre, stringy, tasteless, dry and cold chicken complete with bones that put our lives in danger. During the meal we were invited to finish dinner by 9.15pm several times but they served us at 8.45pm, they were also annoyed at the dessert and what's more they weren't even good, cheesecakes with Tirrenia sand as the base. After which two girls went to the bathroom for a female emergency and a waitress introduced herself to the two girls remaining at the table, attacking them rudely, inviting us to leave the room immediately in an angry tone, rudely silencing us. I would add that the room was cold and the bathroom was freezing! And too much money and fake smiles on the bill.

28/08/2024: Für eine Bar überaus zu empfehlen. Die Pizzen sind frisch und extrem lecker! Alle! Die Karte ist klein aber fein. Die Ceccina war frisch und köstlich. Ebenso ist das Personal sehr jung und sehr freundlich. Wir kommen gerne wieder.
