11/11/2025: An exceptional experience in Panzano, even if the maestro wasn't present that day. The meat was undeniably high quality, the set menu cleverly minimizes waste, and the idea of sharing tables with other diners was a lovely one. The price was absolutely in line with the offerings and the experience. Highly recommended.

20/10/2025: We stayed there for two nights. We appreciated the beautiful and well-kept environment. In particular, the impeccable cleanliness and the size of the bathroom, which was above the average standards of other hotels. The location is ideal for traveling the Chianti road to San Gimignano, which is considered one of the most beautiful roads in Italy.

Antica Macelleria Cecchini

17/11/2025: We went to Macelleria Cecchini yesterday, and honestly, the experience fell short of our expectations. The heavy social media exposure probably led us to imagine something better, more refined, and engaging.
The meat is certainly high-quality, no complaints there. The problem is that it's served almost alone, accompanied only by beans: without at least two or three different side dishes to complement it, it ends up being a bit cloying, meaning it gets boring after a while, despite the quality of the ingredients.
The baked potato, which should be a side dish, becomes almost a main course with Chianti butter.
The impression is that the "Cecchini" persona and all his fame have taken over the actual gastronomic experience. The wine was the most disappointing: modest quality, especially considering the €50 menu. It's true that you can bring your own bottle, but a better option from them would have been welcome.
In short: good, but not great. A pleasant lunch, but far from what
we expected after so much fame.
17/11/2025: What an incredibly dining experience. We were lucky to secure reservations. The food, the wine and the service are all phenomenal. They save the best cut of beef for last, so save room.
