09/01/2025: The best ever in Martina. I recommend breaded bombette, breaded pork strips, sausage, radicchio, rocket and parmesan, but it's all excellent, the quality is guaranteed. Excellent service, everyone is super friendly, I recommend booking a few days in advance because the place is small..

The place is narrow and crowded and the waiters can't keep up.
The meat is quite good and the price is right.

La Taverna del Coccodrillo is an excellent restaurant located in San Giorgio Jonico in the province of Taranto. I have been going there with my family and also with friends for years; I've always had a great time because the quality of the food and the meat in particular is excellent; the owners are two exquisite people; impeccable service and staff! 5 ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ well deserved👍💯

02/01/2025: Meat more than good as well as starters. I encountered the usual and widespread "bad" habit of these grill restaurants: SERVING all the meat ordered AT THE SAME TIME.
Result? Easier logistics for service and cooking... BUT the meat ends up getting cold on the customers' table since you can't eat it all at the same time.
From the photos you can understand that you certainly don't dine in a period stone farmhouse or in a mountain hut...

06/01/2025: Bright seaside Restaurant all in white with some Cuban flavour incl. oldtimer and parrot at the entrance. Mainly seafood dishes which are fresh and tasty. The service is friendly and the view out of the restaurant towards terrace and beach absolutely striking. A place to heavenly eat, then to digest cosily at the beautiful beachside.

Location perfetta, affaccio sul mare, grande cordialità , disponibilità e professionalità del personale di sala e cucina. Ottima cena e magia sotto ogni punto di vista. Complimenti avete lasciato un ottimo ricordo ad ognuno dei nostri invitati .

The dishes arrived not exactly hot, and having taken some cuts we had to eat them in a hurry. Average quality of meat, as well as the preparation of the dishes. The place is nice, but the offer needs to be improved.
