12/04/2026: I had the pleasure of dining at this restaurant, and the experience was truly excellent. The open kitchen is an added bonus: seeing the care and precision with which the dishes are prepared makes everything even more engaging and inspires great confidence in the quality of the work. The dishes were beautifully presented and, above all, delicious, with balanced flavors and top-quality ingredients. Also noteworthy is the wine selection, perfect for pairing each course. A funny little anecdote: throughout the evening, I kept calling the chef "Aldo," even though I knew his real name was Mimmo (Mimì) (maybe it was the wine 🤣). Chef Mimmo, by the way, is incredibly friendly and contributes to creating a welcoming, informal atmosphere. Despite my confusion, the staff was extremely kind and made the evening even more enjoyable. We were with two friends from Milan, and they were also
completely satisfied with the experience. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone
looking for an authentic culinary experience with attention to every detail.

14/02/2026: Small grill restaurant, efficient and very friendly staff. The €20 menu (drinks not included) includes a carpaccio appetizer, a charcuterie and cheese platter, and an excellent focaccia. The mixed grill was very good and plentiful. We'll definitely be back.
24/01/2026: Review: Disappointing experience (especially on a Saturday)
We visited this restaurant on Saturday night, but unfortunately, the experience wasn't the best. Here are the main reasons:
Too small space: The restaurant is definitely too small for the flow of customers it accommodates. You're crowded, the atmosphere quickly becomes chaotic, and you literally feel overwhelmed by the crowd. It's crucial they consider expanding.
Biblical wait times: We waited an hour just to order. Such a wait is unjustifiable, even considering the weekend peak.
Food quality: The most disappointing aspect was the horse meat, which unfortunately arrived very tough and difficult to eat.
Tip: If you really want to try it, definitely avoid Saturdays. Currently, the management of volumes and the quality of service aren't up to the level of the chaos it creates.

29/07/2025: Bel locale dove abbiamo mangiato e chiacchierato in compagnia, servizio veloce ed eccellente, ci è stata servita un ottima frittura e un'ottima pinza.

21/05/2025: Pierino nel quartiere japigia di Bari, offre a chi piace la carne e un po’ la cucina casereccia barese un buon compromesso tra qualità dei prodotti e prezzo.
Non dovete aspettarvi un locale chic perché “da Pierino” sarete accolti in una locanda ma da un personale molto cortese e rispettoso.
L’ambiente, specialmente nel fine settimana, è un po’ “rumoroso@ ma alla fine la carne è di buona qualità e quasi tutti i contorni ( diversi alla barese) gustosi .
Se posso consigliarvi,
quando scegliete la carne a voi gradita, spiegate bene la cottura che desiderate… se un difetto hanno, da Pierino, è proprio nella brace … o troppo cotta o troppo al sangue …
Per il resto non resterete delusi. Le porzioni sono abbondanti ed il conto… direi giusto
09/04/2025: “Spuntino” in pausa pranzo lavorativa, una vera e propria scoperta: riso patate e cozze eccellente, caramelle e costata strepitose. Qualità della carne senza se e senza ma. Servizio cortese e cordiale. Un altro posto da ricordare quando passerò per Bari!
