18/05/2026: We only went for dinner. The place is truly charming and well-kept. I had a grilled rib-eye steak with a side dish, which wasn't particularly good, but we found the appetizers particularly good. Overall, we had a great time.

18/04/2026: The food is fantastic. The dishes are very refined and beautifully presented. That's why we're giving it 5 stars. We were two couples. The only thing that caught our attention was the very serious waitstaff. Maybe it was because we don't speak Italian and spoke English. We prefer cheerful waiters. But that's just our preference, and everything was perfect, hence the rating. And the view is breathtaking!

13/05/2026: Unfortunately, it was a very disappointing experience. The food was really average, nothing special. The platter seemed to be cobbled together with supermarket products, and the quality was rather low. We ordered the truffle gnocchi and the wild boar ragù, but honestly, both looked unappealing, and we didn't like the taste at all. The waitress only poured us wine for the initial tasting and then left the bottle on the table without serving us, which was quite strange for a restaurant of this caliber. What struck us most was that no one asked us why we left more than half the dishes unfinished. Furthermore, the restaurant is in a basement, with no windows and no adequate ventilation. With the smell of meat and food and all the people inside, it was really hard to breathe. We won't be returning.

12/05/2026: Discovered by chance, this restaurant pleasantly surprised us, in addition to the exquisite courtesy of the owners, the goodness of the food... we had a platter of local cured meats and cheeses that were truly delicious, for the main course the mixed grill cooked to perfection by the father of the two owners, with an open brazier, you can see all the passion he puts into cooking the meat. Side of roast potatoes and sautéed wild chicory, I could have eaten a wagonload of it, it was so good 😍. For dessert I had the homemade crème brulee, a divine delicacy 🤤, my husband had the coffee crumble (also homemade) which was equally good! Delicious house wine, truly pleasant atmosphere, exposed beams and simplicity and of course the brazier dominates the view. 100% recommended!

11/04/2026: Easter Monday lunch with friends. Menu: sliced ​​cheesecake, capocollo, fridge-cold hard-boiled egg with two sauces, pici with herb pesto, mixed roast, citrus sorbet. Drinks and coffee not included, €39. I got all-you-can-eat cheesecake, a slice of capocollo, no egg. The pici were bland; the pesto had tons of blended parsley. The roast included chicken wings (undercooked because they arrived raw), breast, and pieces of steak. The sorbet was a safe bet, and was very good.

05/04/2026: We discovered Pulicaro on Ecobnb and decided to book an Easter stay at this agriturismo, impressed by their values ​​and philosophy. Everything lived up to our expectations! Pulicaro is a beautiful stone farmhouse managed with care and love by Chiara, Marco, and all the staff. It's an ideal place to stay, recharge, and sample traditional local cuisine, often made with products from their farm! The agriturismo's location is also on the border between Lazio, Umbria, and Tuscany. It's a great base for exploring Tuscia. Excellent value for money! A wonderful experience, highly recommended.
