10/08/2024: It was truly a great discovery. The menu is very vast, you are spoiled for choice, everything is very good but their icing on the cake are the fried dumplings, absolutely worth trying. We will definitely be back

22/07/2024: I've been going to La Cantina dell'Abbazia for years, sometimes more assiduously, sometimes less, but I have to tell the truth they have never disappointed me. The quality of the food is always excellent, the appetizers give way to a prelude of ancient flavours, the first courses are delicious, as our grandparents made them, homemade and tasty, the meat-based second courses are impossible not to try, the homemade desserts are the perfect ending, accompanied by a excellent choice of bitters and liqueurs. The price is honest, it certainly depends a lot on what you drink or the meat you order, therefore, you decide how much you want to enjoy and then when you eat well the cost is secondary. In any case, there is one thing that is priceless and which today is a rarity, kindness and hospitality, here they could easily teach many "renowned" restaurateurs from Campania.

13/07/2024: Very particular restaurant where the furnishings and objects really catch the visitor's eye. Excellent location for meat lovers who can choose directly from the large fridge cabinet on display in the restaurant. The best dish, at least for my taste, was the Genoese pasta, excellent sauce compared to that of the olden days... The starters were good but a little something could be improved. A note of thanks to the room manager, if I remember correctly his name is Mario who has always been kind and very professional. Prices are normal. I would recommend parking reserved for guests in order to avoid customers who persistently come and ask you for money even if you have parked your car along the public road.

20/06/2024: Returning from Roccaraso for a skating competition, my daughter and I had dinner with a friend and her daughter. All good.

10/06/2024: I've been several times and it's always a pleasure to go, because every time I go I feel better and better. Very good food, very kind staff, and a fantastic manager, all the quality meat and the delicious sandwiches 👏👏

29/07/2024: Il Pizzicotto strives for the perfect dough. The pizzas are well balanced and well baked. It is the pizzeria that I will recommend to all my friends. Pure and one of the best pizzerias in the area. For me, eating a pizza here is like going back in time. So definitely an age-old tradition. It is hands down the best pizza I have ever tasted.

30/04/2024: Già conoscevo questo locale che in effetti, come riportato da altri recensori,è piccolino e lo spazio a disposizione per i tavoli è veramente poco.. La pizzeria è sempre una garanzia; le pizze, ottimamente lievitate, sono ben fatte e gli ingredienti usati da Alfredo sono di prima qualità. Altro discorso, almeno in questa circostanza, merita la braceria, il mio giudizio raggiunge appena la sufficienza; a fronte di prezzi lievitati in maniera esponensiale la qualità ha lasciato molto a desiderare; abbiamo ordinato una tagliata di angus argentino di circa 500 gr. (nessun scontrino a dimostrazione del perso), ll pezzo servito (su piastra) era pieno di nervature e, conseguentemente, quasi del tutto immangiabile (per una volta l'errore è ammesso....) Ottimo il servizio, molto veloce nonostante la tanta affluenza di commensali; le ragazze ai tavoli molto cordiali ed educatissime. Prezzo, come già rimarcato, caro per la braceria, onestissimo per il resto. In ogni caso, almeno per la pizza, resta un locale da consigliare.

16/08/2024: Excellent is an understatement…. Everything was delicious, we are on holiday in Ischia and we had dinner here twice as we liked it so much!! I highly recommend it

Ottima la qualità della carne, così come la sua preparazione e eccellenti i sapori. Servizio all'altezza, soprattutto nei consigli ai commensali e buon rapporto qualità-prezzo. Alla prossima!

02/06/2024: The restaurant is quite small. Just four or five tables on the upper floor and one (high) on the ground floor. However, internally very well furnished with exposed wooden beams. We tried two cuts with a side of broccoli. Both very good and excellent side dish. Definitely worth returning. Since the place is quite small, booking is definitely necessary. We arrived in the area very early, so we didn't have any major problems with parking but, otherwise, I think the only option is to find a garage in the area (still quite expensive... usually €5 per hour!).

30/06/2024: The food was good nothing to say. But the portions small. Especially the starter!! And I would have liked the menu at the table. To understand prices, especially wine. I don't dispute the bill, but everything tasted a little, from the starter to the dessert!!

08/07/2024: Burnt pizza, full of oil and tasteless, sorry guys but as of July 2024 edit I will lower you to 3 stars. The staff is friendly and kind but unfortunately when you spend money kindness isn't everything, give some attention to the quality service.

15/08/2024: We went to this place for the first time with my family on August 15th. I appreciate that there is no fixed menu but giving the customer the opportunity to take what they want. We ate very well, quality products from starters to meat. Excellent cured meats and cheeses. The owner Antonio is a true host who puts you at ease. It's not easy to find genuine and fresh products these days. Congratulations, keep it up. Excellent quality/price.
