04/01/2026: La Baita a Scanno is an excellent restaurant to stop at after a day spent in nature. Lunch was delicious and of high quality, featuring traditional local dishes. The arrosticini, in particular, were excellent: well-cooked, flavorful, and truly delicious.
The atmosphere is welcoming and the service courteous, making the experience pleasant and relaxing. It's a recommended place for anyone who wants to sample Abruzzo cuisine in a family atmosphere.

23/02/2026: A really cute place, quite close to the center. I found out about it through word of mouth, and was told I'd find the best arrosticini in L'Aquila here, along with lots of delicious bruschetta (including gluten-free ones)... and so it was! Friendly and attentive service; along with the standard cover charge, they also bring a small basket of salami, which was much appreciated. We then ordered some delicious bruschetta, arrosticini, and a portion of fries, all excellent! The location is also really interesting. We'll definitely be back.
01/02/2026: The staff were extremely friendly and the customer service was excellent. The idea of the salami served with a small platter was a nice touch.
Excellent pecorino cheese with jams, and the bruschetta and arrosticini were delicious.
They also offered us a very strong aniseed liqueur at the end of the meal, the name of which I don't remember.
I would gladly return to this restaurant, recommended by the B&B manager, who was also very kind, in a city that, unfortunately, I found full of very rude people outside of their own.

18/02/2026: Nothing to complain about; in fact, Mrs. Annarita (the owner) delighted us with a homemade tart, as well as a hearty breakfast. Kindness and cleanliness reign supreme.
Highly recommended.
09/02/2026: A very nice and practical hotel. The rooms are clean and comfortable, with superb views of the surrounding mountains. The owners are delightful and always available. A wonderful find.

20/03/2026: We dined here for a birthday. The place was freezing, so much so that we dined in jackets, but they still weren't enough to keep us warm. The appetizer arrived after over an hour and a half; considering there were about twenty people in the place, the wait seemed excessive. The pizza, which arrived after two hours of waiting and constant reminders, was inedible. We asked for a Coke and were told it had run out—absurd, considering it's a "restaurant." Halfway through dinner, we left, leaving most of the food on our plates without finishing the celebration. Some of the people sitting across from us also left for the same reason.
We will definitely never return.
I absolutely do not recommend this place!
03/03/2026: Very kind staff: I tried to order via Just Eat but the app had some problems, and I solved it quickly by placing the order directly via phone.
Good margherita pizza, fried food too (a nice choice).

28/12/2025: The pizza was really of poor quality, the dough was half raw, I took a breath, the onion was not cooked, instead the bacon was burnt, also seeing the dishes of other people, the pizzas had also been left by others, even at other tables, slow service but at least the staff was polite, the place instead welcoming, the only flaw a little cold

25/07/2025: Siamo venuti a cena su indicazione della signora che gestisce il b&b dove siamo, siamo stati talmente soddisfatti che abbiamo prenotato anche per la sera successiva. Primi molto buoni, ottima la qualità della pasta, secondi di carne buonissimi, patate arrosto e cicoria buonissimi, parmigiana di melanzane super. Personale cordiale. Rapporto qualità prezzo ottimo.

23/04/2025: In questa mia recensione la qualità del cibo(comunque di scarso livello) passa in secondo piano. La prima cosa che valuto in un ristorante è l'accoglienza e sotto questo aspetto La Trappola è uno dei peggiori posti dove sono stato. La scostumatezza della proprietaria è di un livello imbarazzante. Pochissime volte in vita mia ho avuto a che fare con personale di una tale scortesia. Ovviamente non ci metterò mai più piede.
05/03/2025: un piccolo ristorantino che offre cucina locale e pizze, molto accogliente, caldo e il personale è molto gentile. I piatti sono molto abbondanti e ci siamo tornati due volte, la prima abbiamo preso delle magnifiche pappardelle ai porcini e uno strudel e la seconda volta delle trofie con zucca, zafferano, salsiccia, ... tutto davvero buonissimo e ad un costo onsstissimo! ci torneremo.
