11/11/2025: Not your average piadina! Last night after school, I headed to downtown Verona for dinner at Buoono! I didn't eat one piadina, but two! I ate the "Da Paura" and "Porcavacca" piadinas, delicious with a light dough, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, and filled with fresh, quality ingredients! I give it a 10 because Buoono's piadinas are among the best I've ever tasted! The dough is perfect, the filling is fresh, and the toppings are balanced. If you're in Verona, don't miss the opportunity to try these delicacies! Plus, the friendliness and smile of the staff who welcomes you and prepares the piadinas is amazing!

10/11/2025: After a stroll through the city center, we stopped for lunch at this lovely place where you can eat poke and piadina. My wife and I tried the piadinas, exceptional pasta, beautifully filled with fresh ingredients, delicious. It's a shame we didn't take any photos, but they're absolutely worth a visit.

01/11/2025: I would say that I would describe today's lunch as a wonderful experience, the staff were all super friendly and extremely courteous, we felt spoiled from the first to the last course, what can I say, we will gladly return 🥰 and then the chef is a person of unique cordiality!

30/10/2025: The two of us had a lovely evening with excellent food. The gluten- and lactose-free "allergy" menu was a particularly convenient solution for those with dietary restrictions. However, there are a few points to note compared to other *** restaurants. Our table was unfortunately located in the middle of the room, so a waiter/waitress was constantly walking past us, making the atmosphere somewhat restless and a little unsettled. Also, in my opinion, the service wasn't quite as coordinated as we'd hoped, so some situations seemed a bit awkward. These are all minor points, though, and we thoroughly enjoyed our evening nonetheless.

16/10/2025: A very friendly, authentic Italian pastry shop in the heart of Malcesine! My pistachio croissant was wonderfully creamy and aromatic, and my wife's chocolate croissant was equally delicious. Accompanied by a classic espresso or cappuccino – all traditionally made with cow's milk, unfortunately without any vegan alternatives. Nevertheless, the owner impresses with his calm, charismatic manner and creates a wonderfully relaxed, authentic Italian atmosphere. A place where you immediately feel welcome and will gladly return.

15/10/2025: Simply fantastic. The seafood and fish were so delicious. We come there every time we're at Lake Garda.

20/11/2025: A beautiful location, both inside and out. We went with our girls and our big dog, and they seated us on the beautifully landscaped and heated outdoor patio with mushrooms. We ordered appetizers of cured meats and cheeses, traditional first courses, and homemade desserts. We enjoyed the service and food; they were more like a restaurant than an osteria. We'll definitely return if we have the opportunity. Recommended.

19/11/2025: A good restaurant in a very unique location. They pay attention to the ingredients, and if you have allergies, like me, they'll be happy to vary your typical dishes and recommend what to avoid. Value for money: medium-high, but overall good. Recommended!

14/11/2025: My favourite restaurant in Verona. My family and I went there 3 times in our 4 day stay in the city and I’m already looking forward to returning - the atmosphere was incredible and the food was even better, I could not recommend this place enough

13/11/2025: Located in the most noble and vibrant heart of Verona's historic center, Greppia Restaurant is a prime destination for those wishing to immerse themselves in Veronese gastronomic tradition, presented with elegance, authenticity, and timeless charm. Highly recommended by numerous residents, the restaurant welcomes guests into a warm, refined, and characterful atmosphere, instantly evoking the city's historic soul. The staff stands out for their professionalism, courtesy, and attentive yet never intrusive service. Every request is met with ease, contributing to a seamless and enjoyable experience. Impeccable cleanliness throughout the restaurant is a testament to attentive and meticulous management. The extensive and well-structured menu offers a journey through traditional Veronese flavors and recipes. While interesting and full of character, the addition of a few more classic options would have made the offering even more versatile for those who might not be drawn to certain traditional dishes. The selection of first courses was the highlight of the dinner. The fettuccine with black truffle from the Lessini Mountains was extraordinary: impeccably cooked, perfectly creamed, intensely fragrant, and a top-quality truffle harmoniously integrated into the dish. A true celebration of the region. The green ricotta and spinach ravioli with butter were also very refined, with their thin pasta and creamy, balanced filling. The potato gnocchi with red radicchio were also very soft, well-executed, and enhanced by the pleasant bitterness of the radicchio, an elegant and surprisingly harmonious combination. However, a significant point concerns the rather small portions, especially the first courses: excellent, yes, but not entirely satisfying in terms of generosity, a particularly expected element in traditional cuisine. The Milanese cutlet was a more challenging experience, elegantly presented but penalized by uneven cooking, with some parts excessively rare. This preparation, due to its technique and its long history, requires greater precision. The wine list is well-structured, with a rich and coherent selection of local and national labels, designed to intelligently complement the entire gastronomic journey. The restrooms, while well-maintained and spotlessly clean, unfortunately have one limitation: being located in the basement, they are inaccessible to wheelchair users, a particularly important aspect today in terms of inclusivity. Finally, the bill was the most disappointing aspect of the evening. The price, significantly high, does not fully reflect the actual quantities of the dishes, leaving a perception of an imbalance between cost and portions offered. This factor impacts the overall experience, despite acknowledging the good quality of the ingredients. In conclusion, Greppia offers cuisine rooted in Veronese tradition, with peaks of excellence especially in the first courses, attentive service, and an evocative atmosphere. Some improvements, particularly in the portions and in the quality-price ratio, would further elevate a restaurant that remains significant in the city's culinary landscape.

17/09/2025: Holding my five-year-old son by the hand—who desperately needed to go to the bathroom—I politely asked if we could use the bathroom for him. I even had two euros in hand to pay. Then the waiter simply replied, "only for guests!" We would have even become guests for a few drinks. How inhumane can you be to a small child? Arrogance and conceit come before a fall! Don't be surprised that at some point, the guests stopped coming!

09/11/2025: We went to Tregnago 1908 restaurant in 2023 for a wedding, and what can I say? Top-notch restaurant, excellent service, top-quality food, and the owner was always available, friendly, and helpful! Highly recommended for any event!

02/11/2025: We ate at a Lions event without tablecloths on tables ruined by wine stains. Mediocre food.

06/10/2025: Sunday lunch during a trip to Bardolino. Good dishes; we tried the lake fish ones. The dishes were tasty, not too elaborate to showcase the ingredients. Good value. Not a typical tourist trap. Excellent service and atmosphere.

02/11/2025: We made a last-minute reservation for two and they found us a table. While we waited, the staff at the entrance were very friendly and courteous. The food was good and the place was clean. The rest of the staff were very polite. It's a shame they didn't have any more tiramisu.... I recommend it!!! Excellent pizza of the month 🤪

24/11/2025: Excellent welcome, two smiling, fast, and helpful waiters. The food was excellent, including the tortellini in broth and the pork cheek. The price was average for the type of restaurant and the dishes presented. I will definitely be back.

10/11/2025: Being foreigners, we happened upon Toni by looking it up on Google and were very pleased with his kindness and the quality of his products. He introduced us to a wine that we really liked and was happy to chat with us, it's a shame we didn't get to stop by again!

27/10/2025: After having already stopped here several times on vacation in 2024, we couldn't resist spending an evening here again in 2025. In our opinion, it's the best pizza in Peschiera, with friendly staff and a lovely atmosphere.

12/10/2025: After reading reviews we were 50/50 about going. Couldn't have been better. Service was fantastic, staff happy to help finding the right beer with tasters and made sure we were all happy with what we were drinking. Food was great, pizza for myself was delicious, wife's pasta was amazing and sons chicken and chips absolutely hit the spot. If you are reading reviews like I did earlier and are unsure then please don't believe the negative reviews and go and eat here you will not be disappointed!!
