31/12/2025: I stopped by for lunch a few days ago. The service was simply impeccable, the lunch was delicious, and the price was reasonable. They're a bit out of the way for me; I was just passing through, but I'm thinking of going back, even though I have an hour and a half to go. Really good!

16/10/2025: A very friendly, authentic Italian pastry shop in the heart of Malcesine! My pistachio croissant was wonderfully creamy and aromatic, and my wife's chocolate croissant was equally delicious. Accompanied by a classic espresso or cappuccino – all traditionally made with cow's milk, unfortunately without any vegan alternatives. Nevertheless, the owner impresses with his calm, charismatic manner and creates a wonderfully relaxed, authentic Italian atmosphere. A place where you immediately feel welcome and will gladly return.

25/11/2025: I try to book. First, the same menu for the whole table. Second, a milk allergy dismissed as a personal quirk. Third, but most importantly: my daughter is not welcome, since she's under 12. I wonder why these simple, banal rules of good living and hospitality aren't even considered, neither by the restaurant nor by the superlative judges of the Michelin Guide. So sad and so lacking... taste. Sic!

20/12/2025: The comedians. Or worse. I decided to book here for my tenth wedding anniversary because I liked the idea of ​​a casual restaurant. I called a few days in advance and was redirected to an online booking platform. Oh well. I booked and received confirmation informing me that the table was reserved for two hours. The evening of the dinner arrived, but due to the usual setbacks (three daughters, a hyper-punctual babysitter, money to withdraw, parking to pay), we arrived a full 29 minutes late. I walked in, announced myself, and was told the reservation had been canceled. What?! My wife and I were shocked! And I didn't even feel like arguing, it was so incredible to me. So, good for you for reading my review if you manage to be on time and enjoy the delicacies that were denied to me because, alas, at fifty, I still haven't learned punctuality, and Rivelin came along to teach me and punish me. You'll understand. Then I get a call from them on my phone an hour later, which I didn't answer because we were already happily dining at another place I'd found on the fly and I didn't hear the call. I'm giving you five stars because I'm a gentleman. The food is unbelievable, the place is casual and nice, the friendliness and humanity are below par. Never!

17/12/2025: Today I searched and found exactly what I wanted for my guests, who were delighted. Excellent food—and plenty of it—in a charming setting, with extremely friendly and attentive staff. I recommend it, as it's not the usual tourist menu offerings. The food here is good, and the service is impeccable.

10/12/2025: This café exudes a hipster and artistic vibe. You'll feel creative even before you take your first sip of coffee. There are beautiful details everywhere, lots of plants and books, and it's clear that a lot of care has gone into it. The stracciatella gelato is absolutely the best. The coffee is delicious and strong, just like my girlfriend's reasoning for spending our holiday in Italy. The staff is very friendly and helpful, and I felt completely pampered. I highly recommend this café, as it's the best coffee I've had on this holiday.

10/01/2026: We went there two days in a row because the food was so good that we were left wanting more. The first night, we had a mixed antipasto, risotto with Amarone, and a trio of first courses, all noteworthy. The second time, we wanted to return for the radicchio gnocchi, the roasted octopus, and the pasta e fagioli. Everything was truly delicious. I was, however, very disappointed with the citrus-flavored sea bass. Unfortunately, the ingredients didn't seem fresh, and despite the dish being expertly prepared, the flavor of the "old" fish was so strong that it ruined the flavor. I imagine this can happen when the fish comes from far away... and I'm sure if I had pointed it out, they would have taken care of it. The octopus, on the other hand, was delicious and perhaps one of the most tender and flavorful we've ever eaten. However, other than that, the restaurant is truly worth it. I will definitely return and recommend it to my friends.

29/11/2025: Excellent central location and value for money! The staff were friendly and attentive. Special compliments to the manager, who pampered us and provided us with a wonderful evening. We'll definitely be back.

27/11/2025: Great food and excellent service. The pizza was delicious, and the skewers were absolutely mouth-watering. I was warmly and professionally welcomed by the manager, and despite the restaurant being fully booked, they found me a table within a few minutes. It was my last day of holiday in Verona, and this meal became one of the best memories I’m taking home. Well done, guys!

16/01/2026: Both rated the prawn pasta as favourite (with pistachio and fresh cheese called stracciatella). Trout pasta from the lake is also very unique and tasty, not that behind the prawn pasta rating. Grilled fish course was so-so, perhaps the pasta were too impressive at the beginning and set a very high expectation for the second course.

08/06/2025: I had the best pistachio croissant ever here! It was so good, so fresh and simply delicious! I’ve had many pistachio croissants, but this was the best one! I tried it fresh from the oven, it was so warm and so delicious. Also the coffee here is great too! I recommend!
