15/06/2025: From the outside, this restaurant doesn't look very inviting, but that's not the case. It specializes in fish and seafood, but also serves meat dishes and pizzas. Everything I ate was delicious, and the prices were fair. And the server even spoke German, which made my evening much easier. Highly recommended...

19/07/2025: When I lived in La Thuile, I couldn't wait to eat there as soon as I had the chance (at least once a month). If you're from the Courmayeur area or nearby and want to be pampered by excellent staff while eating fantastic meat, this is the place for you. It's the kind of place you bring out-of-town guests to make sure they make a great impression.

17/07/2025: Restaurant with a spacious outdoor terrace. Friendly and professional staff. Truly good food and generous portions. The desserts are truly delicious and fresh. Worth a visit if you're in the Courmayeur area. The prices are more than fair.

26/06/2025: Experience we could have avoided. At the entrance there was no one to welcome us, missing staff. After they sat us down, they told us that we had to wait a bit, but the couple who arrived after us were already eating after 15 minutes that we were waiting for the order that was never taken because we left given the situation. Hoping it can improve the service. Born in favor: the clean bathroom

12/07/2025: Very good! We had a fantastic cappuccino, exquisitely prepared, with attention to detail. The service was excellent: attentive, present, but never intrusive. And above all, there was no fake friendliness, but genuine interest and warmth. You just feel at home. That's how it should be, we'll be happy to come back!😄👍

28/06/2025: Unfortunately, I cannot review the restaurant experience inside the venue because we were unable to try it. My partner and I tried to contact the restaurant several times over two days, but to no avail: the phone was either free but no one answered, or it was completely disconnected. Also, according to Google Maps, the venue was open today during lunch hours, but when we arrived, we found it closed. I think it is important to keep online information updated to avoid confusion for potential customers. I hope to be able to try again in the future and find the venue open.

20/06/2025: Situé à proximité du fort de Bard, dans la rue piétonne montante, ce restaurant mérite le détour. Accueil et service très sympathique. Le patron, parlant très bien le français, nous donne toutes les explications des plats proposés. Très bonne cuisine locale, copieuse et à prix très correct. Les tables sont disposées de manière typique. A découvrir.

13/04/2025: An excellent choice of lodging. The room was lovely, perfect for 4 of us. The views were amazing. The staff are incredibly helpful and kind. The food is delicious (have a dinner here- the owner is a fantastic cook). Breakfasts are divine. They helped us book a ski school for our kids. Great location just minutes from ski slopes. Definitely coming back!

The restaurant has an informal and welcoming atmosphere, with the possibility of eating outside, perfect for enjoying the view of the historic center. The menu offers various local specialties, all well prepared and tasty. The service was kind and fast, always with a smile. Prices in line with the central area, absolutely justified by the quality and location. Ideal for a pleasant stop during a visit to the city!

16/05/2025: My partner and I, in Aosta for one evening, wanted to have an aperitif. After seeing the menu we decided to stop for dinner too. We had two cocktails, excellent, and for dinner a pinsa cacio e pepe and a cheeseburger, drinking a violet spritz and an excellent craft beer. Everything was really really good and the staff is really kind and competent. Furthermore, the place is beautiful inside and has an outdoor area on the main square of Aosta. All for a more than honest price, I would like to have a place like that near my house. When we return to the area we will definitely stop at Geckoo!
