To have such a talented owner and creator serving you and explaining his creations to you shows the quality and authenticity of the place. In particular, the Sacher Torte was one of the best I’ve ever had.

20/04/2025: I stayed at the Baita Ermitage and I had a very good time. The property is well-kept, in a quiet location and with a beautiful view. The possibility of relaxing on the deckchairs outside is a plus that really makes the difference, especially on sunny days. An ideal place to disconnect and enjoy some quiet in the mountains.

28/05/2025: On the recommendation of Mrs. Maddalena, whose B&B we were guests of, we went to dine at this restaurant located right in the old town of Aosta. We were very satisfied, so much so that we returned again, because it has a wide variety of both classic and regional dishes. From lasagna to risotto, from the very delicate Aosta Valley delights (a plate of cheeses, cured meats, Arnad lard, chestnuts), to pork fillet, pumpkin gnocchi, etc., even pizzas that we have not tried, all truly valid at an absolutely honest price. The staff was very kind. It is a pleasure to still find restaurateurs who know how to interpret their profession with professionalism and passion. Not to be missed.

27/05/2025: four pizzas with friends... slow service although kind. pizzas are average, we lack the touch to be excellent. the outside tables are a bit narrow, the waitress passes by millimeter and the chairs are rather wedged especially for large sizes like mine. all good... could still be better

13/05/2025: I went there unexpectedly because all the restaurants in the village were closed. I received a very warm welcome; the staff was friendly and attentive. There were two of us and we had two burgers and fries, which were very good. The atmosphere was like a biker bar, nicely decorated.

Lorenzo was fantastic wih his advice and level of service and generally a lovely guy. Hernan also. Tasty breakfasts and a relaxed vibe. 13/04/2025: An excellent choice of lodging. The room was lovely, perfect for 4 of us. The views were amazing. The staff are incredibly helpful and kind. The food is delicious (have a dinner here- the owner is a fantastic cook). Breakfasts are divine. They helped us book a ski school for our kids. Great location just minutes from ski slopes. Definitely coming back!

03/01/2025: Quiet environment, we entered after a cold excursion to warm up with a hot chocolate and delicious cake. Warm and comfortable place

26/12/2024: I had a cup of hot chocolate and as a vegan I really appreciated the availability of soy milk in this corner of Val d'Aosta! Very honest price. You can enter with dogs, as long as they are well-behaved and on a leash. Not the best hot chocolate of my life (it was a mix in a bag and you could taste it) but all the other factors made the experience very positive!

27/02/2025: We had a wonderful gourmet dinner celebrating the birthdays of our adult son and friend. The snow mobile ride up the mountain was exciting. The food and staff were exceptional. When the taxi service could not be reached to arrange for a pick up at the Valle Veny parking lot after the snow mobile ride back down the mountain, the staff arranged to get us back to our hotel in their van. The night was fun and delicious!

10/01/2025: Great apre ski place. Owners very friendly and kind. Easy to catch the bus to other parts of the valley from here, even if you aren't staying in Staffal.
