28/06/2025: I highly recommend this restaurant. Everything about it is top notch. The food was delicious, service outstanding , the staff are so smart, professional and knowledgeable. I also really like the style of the marine themed decor. It was one of my best dining experiences in Aosta.

19/07/2025: When I lived in La Thuile, I couldn't wait to eat there as soon as I had the chance (at least once a month). If you're from the Courmayeur area or nearby and want to be pampered by excellent staff while eating fantastic meat, this is the place for you. It's the kind of place you bring out-of-town guests to make sure they make a great impression.

17/07/2025: Restaurant with a spacious outdoor terrace. Friendly and professional staff. Truly good food and generous portions. The desserts are truly delicious and fresh. Worth a visit if you're in the Courmayeur area. The prices are more than fair.

29/08/2025: Let's start on the positive note because there will be a list of negatives later. I went with a friend and my dog. The location was nice and very quiet, but otherwise it was squalid. We asked if there was room for two and a dog. I should start by saying that I have an English pointer who doesn't even know what meanness is. He's been properly trained, and every time we eat, he sits close to my leg and doesn't move. They told us that they have two tables off to the side for dogs, away from the others, and that if they wanted to eat there, the dog had to stay still under the table. Being good and well-behaved, he sat there the whole time. Next to him, there was a rusty iron grate that protruded because it wasn't secured properly. Not to mention that there was a dog, but even a normal person could easily have touched it with their leg and hurt themselves. The food was edible, but it arrived cold and in meager portions. Two plates of pasta with sausage and a water cost €33. We'll never go back! I strongly advise against it, especially not at all polite and kind

26/08/2025: My family and I went to eat at this inn after visiting the fort and the village of Bard. Even though it was well past lunchtime, we were greeted and served very kindly. Typical dishes, gnocchi with wild boar ragù, carbonada with polenta and Valdostana cheese, house wine—all delicious. Fast service and excellent prices for the quality of the food. I recommend it.

24/08/2025: A beautiful and well-kept place, with kind and welcoming staff and truly exceptional food! The prices are fair and reasonable: in my opinion, it's one of the best places in the valley for those who want to enjoy traditional, home-cooked cuisine, prepared with authentic and exquisite ingredients. Highly recommended!

09/08/2025: Stunning location, delicious food, but...don't touch the 90-euro rooster centerpieces! As soon as we arrived, seeing two children, they rudely snatched away delicate items that could have been broken. I understand the concern, but everything could have been handled with more elegance, which is desirable for a renowned place like this. Otherwise, we'd like to point out that children are not welcome; it would make a better impression! Not recommended for those who can't eat gluten-free or lactose-free, as there's very little to no gluten.

02/09/2025: We were on vacation in Courmayeur and stumbled upon this place for lunch. The sandwiches are excellent, large and well-filled. The owner, Michele, is kind and very helpful, and we had a pleasant chat. We had a great time, highly recommended 🥰

07/08/2025: A memorable evening in a typical Aosta Valley restaurant. A very welcoming atmosphere (you can also eat outside), but I recommend eating inside. I had an excellent Fassona steak and we both enjoyed a delicious raclette. We savored it to the last drop. We'd definitely return to try other dishes from the extensive menu. Everything was impeccably managed with the utmost courtesy by the owner and one of his staff. Reservations are recommended; the restaurant seems to be very popular in the area. Prices are a bit above the local average, but well worth it. Thank you for the wonderful evening you gave us.

16/04/2025: Spent a few days here as a family of 4 and what a strong choice it was. Great location, great hosts, great room, great value. Lorenzo was fantastic wih his advice and level of service and generally a lovely guy. Hernan also. Tasty breakfasts and a relaxed vibe. Advice on restaurants, skiing, instructors and the local area was spot on. Thanks

13/04/2025: An excellent choice of lodging. The room was lovely, perfect for 4 of us. The views were amazing. The staff are incredibly helpful and kind. The food is delicious (have a dinner here- the owner is a fantastic cook). Breakfasts are divine. They helped us book a ski school for our kids. Great location just minutes from ski slopes. Definitely coming back!

27/07/2025: Excellent food, excellent staff. I've had lunch on the terrace where people smoke in your face: absolutely intolerable. Regulations require a minimum of two meters between tables, and it's up to people's common sense to avoid smoking others. The surrounding restaurants don't have any ashtrays on the terrace; the owner should think about that... He certainly won't lose customers if he takes the ashtrays and throws them in the trash. 22/08/2025: Terrible...I've been going to La Thuile for years, and I'm very sorry about this chocolate shop, too. Besides having rude and uninformed staff, it was disconcerting to see the price (for the same exact things) skyrocket overnight. I would advise the owner to supervise and manage the employees as best as possible so as not to upset the CUSTOMER.

16/05/2025: My partner and I, in Aosta for one evening, wanted to have an aperitif. After seeing the menu we decided to stop for dinner too. We had two cocktails, excellent, and for dinner a pinsa cacio e pepe and a cheeseburger, drinking a violet spritz and an excellent craft beer. Everything was really really good and the staff is really kind and competent. Furthermore, the place is beautiful inside and has an outdoor area on the main square of Aosta. All for a more than honest price, I would like to have a place like that near my house. When we return to the area we will definitely stop at Geckoo!

03/07/2025: Great atmosphere and delicious food. The bartender was friendly, made excellent drinks, and told us a few interesting facts about the local area. Definitely worth a visit.
