10/10/2025: I didn't like the ambiance. Everything seemed very simple, and I didn't find it cozy. The tables are very close together, so there's no privacy at all. We didn't want to have a second glass of wine there. The food is excellent, the welcome was okay, but the waitress seemed so annoyed and unfriendly, completely untypical for Italy. No please, no thank you. It's a shame. There won't be a second visit.

07/10/2025: A “local” brasserie that word has got out to the rest of that it’s worth the drive/walk up the hill to try. We were staying close by (just a 4 min walk ) and tried our luck on a weekday without a reservation … they were fully booked!!! But, they managed to find us a spot provided we were done in an hour. The service was exactly what we expected - helpful, efficient and friendly. The food probably exceeded our expectations - beautiful taste, good servings and promptly served. Cheap table wine to wash our meal down did the trick. Highly recommended but also recommend you book!

29/08/2025: Let's start on the positive note because there will be a list of negatives later. I went with a friend and my dog. The location was nice and very quiet, but otherwise it was squalid. We asked if there was room for two and a dog. I should start by saying that I have an English pointer who doesn't even know what meanness is. He's been properly trained, and every time we eat, he sits close to my leg and doesn't move. They told us that they have two tables off to the side for dogs, away from the others, and that if they wanted to eat there, the dog had to stay still under the table. Being good and well-behaved, he sat there the whole time. Next to him, there was a rusty iron grate that protruded because it wasn't secured properly. Not to mention that there was a dog, but even a normal person could easily have touched it with their leg and hurt themselves. The food was edible, but it arrived cold and in meager portions. Two plates of pasta with sausage and a water cost €33. We'll never go back! I strongly advise against it, especially not at all polite and kind

26/08/2025: My family and I went to eat at this inn after visiting the fort and the village of Bard. Even though it was well past lunchtime, we were greeted and served very kindly. Typical dishes, gnocchi with wild boar ragù, carbonada with polenta and Valdostana cheese, house wine—all delicious. Fast service and excellent prices for the quality of the food. I recommend it.

14/09/2025: Truly excellent pastries! Various types of brioches, even vegan ones with jam. Delicious pastries and truly top-notch chocolates and bars. For our day trips, we also brought some small chocolates. A real treat. As is often the case, however, they weren't exactly cheap.

18/08/2025: We spent 10 days at the Chalet du Lys and every evening we stopped by the pub for a coffee, an amaro, or a grappa. The guys are incredibly kind. Thank you. You made our after-dinner drinks so enjoyable.

05/12/2025: I've been to this spectacular trattoria, right in the center of Aosta, near the Christmas markets. The entrance is beautiful, the interior is very beautiful, and the portions are generous and good value for money. I'll definitely be back. A great place for tourists. Highly recommended!

23/10/2025: Everything was excellent. The chalet has a large lawn in front where you can enjoy an aperitif before lunch or relax afterward with a magnificent view of the Mont Blanc glacier. You can eat outside with tables and umbrellas on the green lawn, or on the terrace, surrounded by the silence of the woods. Excellent local cuisine, a superb selection of wines (we enjoyed the Gamay de Braga), and impeccable, attentive, and friendly service. Highly recommended, but reservations are essential as it's very popular.
