02/01/2025: Unica nota positiva il personale piacevole e carino. Per ilresto non so come abbia un punteggio così alto . Inspiegabile. Antipasti insipidi considerata la cucina umbra sapido. Sono entrato per mangiare il famoso piccione all'orvietana e mi sono ritrovato un piccione bollito e immerso jn una salsa rossa che tutto aveva tranne che essere una riduzione di vino. Peccato davvero
28/12/2024: I bambini avevano fame, così siamo entrati, per così dire, nel primo ristorante che ci è capitato. Anche se avevo notato velocemente che le recensioni segnavano 4,5 stelle, non riesco davvero a capire come si possa attribuire una valutazione così alta a un locale del genere. Lo stile è fermo agli anni Ottanta, il servizio è scadente e le porzioni sono ridicole. Abbiamo speso 120 euro per mangiare praticamente il nulla: un antipasto pessimo e indecente. In conclusione, evitatelo assolutamente. È un posto in cui non tornerei nemmeno gratis.

02/05/2025: This bar is fortunate to be in a good location and the spirituality of the patrons is quite high. The waitress prevented us from choosing the flavor of the croissants in a rather rude manner. At the next table (regular customers) he asked for their favorite flavor and reassured them of their requests. Really mediocre cappuccino. In any other area of Italy a place like this would be renamed "Porchi e Ladri"
25/04/2025: Breakfast embarrassing in all its aspects; the sweet pastries are inedible, frozen and even badly cooked, but the worst is the service, rude and unkind, even refusing to give me two 1 euro pieces at the time of payment. Only the location is saved by having the outdoor area on the square.

I go in to get two plastic forks and he charges me 2.40 euros.
When I tell her that I want to pay with POS she gets stiff and WITHOUT TELLING ME she makes me pay 3 euros, I only noticed it 2 hours later, I come back to tell her and she tells me that it's none of her business and that she doesn't usually sell plastic forks so SHE GAVE ME A PLEASURE. Verbatim words.
I recently moved to the area but will never return.

05/05/2025: We needed hot water to prepare our grandson's soup and they immediately took care of giving us the best service, without asking us anything. Then, calmly, we consumed some good croissant and coffee products. Thank you !
21/02/2025: I stopped for breakfast... at first one of the three sales assistants didn't take me into consideration even though I was in front of her, so I say "good morning" to her and at that point she notices me. Ok, I order a cappuccino accompanied by a croissant, so far "everything normal". They serve me the cappuccino... it was all foam and with a thousand bubbles (for those who have already done this job or a coffee making course understand what it means) at that point I ask if you could kindly do it again and at that point she, completely annoyed, decides to do it again.... Ladies and gentlemen, nothing to say... I can have coffee with milk at home with my grandfather in the morning...
I will never set foot in this bar/cafe again. Personally unqualified, rude and rude.

01/05/2025: Expected less, very disappointed
On pizza (frozen pizza) the cheese was not completely melted. Truffle pasta (it wasn't a truffle) was cooked through and looked more like a “mouse au pepper” and the whole meal was served on paper plates. In short: tourist scam!!!

Locanda de' Senari

18/08/2024: Posto magico situato nel cuore di Castelluccio. Completamente ristrutturato in seguito al terremoto che ha distrutto questo incantevole pezzo di paradiso. La locanda è sia un b&b che un ristorante (ad uso esclusivo di chi vi pernotta). Camera pulita e carina dotata di tutti i confort. Lenzuola ricamate della nonna, una favola. Colazione eccezionale, con torte fatte in casa e materie prime a km zero. Cena super squisita e varia nella quale potrete gustare i piatti tipici della zona. I titolari sono di una gentilezza e simpatia unica. Tutto stupendo, dal primo momento in cui si arriva a quando si va via...Tutto genuino e semplice. Bello anche sentire l'odore del bucato appena fatto e steso lì fuori. Possibilità anche di sdraiarsi e prendere il sole godendo del meraviglioso panorama di Castelluccio. Vale il viaggio...come direbbe Barbieri...
18/06/2024: Una Locanda da tre stelle che vale per cinque. In questa terra martoriata dal terremoto, in cui si vede ancora una realtà difficile e lontana dalla normalità, la bellezza delle fioriture e dei paesaggi fa dimenticare il presente e viene allietata dalla Locanda de Senari, dove la semplice attenzione fa vivere l'incantesimo di una storia senza tempo. Cibi buoni e genuini, pulizia, odore di bucato della biancheria e la Sig.ra Mariella, fanno dimenticare le ferite nel paese.
