22/12/2023: Tonight we tried one of the oldest places in Lucca, LA CANTINA DI CARIGNANO. The place appears warm and welcoming the furnishings such as the piano, the beamed ceiling and the chandeliers made from wagon wheels create a style that blends between old style and country. The staff is quick but a bit resolute. Good food with traditional cuisine and home-made dishes. The mise en place is good.

30/11/2023: In a good environment, good food, apart from a few small flaws, but we will return.

13/08/2024: Food okay but drinks overpriced.

31/07/2024: A very nice bar managed by a family. Very warm service.

14/08/2024: Unfortunately the experience in this place was not the best, everything starting from a wrong and non-existent management of the tables which derives from the lack of staff, two poor girls who ran helter-skelter and were unable to keep up with the orders, the queue for pay at the cash register which reaches almost to the outside of the place, which is also devoid of air conditioning and therefore unlivable for both customers and workers, drinks served in plastic cups imagining that there is no time to run the dishwasher. Therefore I invite the owners to review various things and not waste the potential of this place in this way.

14/08/2024: Poor service and not the fault of the girls who are few and have to run from one table to another. I've seen customers sit for half an hour and be totally ignored. We ourselves, had to clear the table ourselves after being forgotten. But how can you not invest in staff during the week of August and hire someone more!?

07/08/2024: Very romantic place for youngers and couples with Beautiful lightings.

03/08/2024: Terrible drinks, very expensive and really long waiting times. Very disorganized.

20/07/2024: Chi ha provato il Fanatiko conosce la qualità della cucina, la location splendida, la gentilezza del personale. Le serate musicali sono, tuttavia, il vero plus, che abbellisce l'intero lungomare di Viareggio. Per questo grazie al Fanatiko e a chi, con passione, lo fa vivere. Benedetta Grecchi

17/07/2024: The restaurant music is unbelievably loud. Told waiter our order 3 times. Pointed to the menu. Order was wrong and awful.

27/08/2024: I went in to eat with the family and my daughter told me she had to go to the bathroom, I politely asked the bartender who I assumed was the owner and he looked at me badly telling me there was no bathroom. I also notice a woman who arrives and looks at me badly and repeats the same things that they shouldn't have a bathroom. Not very clean place and I don't recommend it especially because they are very rude.

26/08/2024: I had a coffee and it wasn't bad, however the floor was very dirty and it was 8.00 in the morning and after asking to use the bathroom I was told that the bathroom "wasn't there" and to go to the public toilets of the city. I have not made any controversy, however the lady is unaware that based on art. 187 of the regulation for the execution of the T.U.L.P.S. business owners cannot without a legitimate reason refuse the services of their business to anyone who requests them and pays the price. Given the price paid, the use of the bathroom in the room cannot be denied.

11/06/2024: Delivered a dessert ordered for a birthday which was completely wrong compared to the request. I asked for sponge cake soaked in liqueur and absolutely without cream, they wrote on the order that they would cover it with a pouring of chocolate. Dessert delivered already closed, when we went to eat it I discovered that it was without any type of syrup, dry and tasteless, completely covered in cream and with strawberries... Something like this has never happened in so many birthdays, we don't work like that!

22/05/2024: Nice place to have lunch, excellent quality, friendly staff, fair prices.

09/08/2024: Very expensive, a macchiato 1.5 euros, unavailable in the centre, 1.20 or 1.30 at most

26/07/2024: Da ormai qualche anno mi capita di fermarmi qui per un aperitivo, e ultimamente ho notato che la qualità, sia dei drink, sia del servizio, è notevolmente migliorata! Complimenti per la scelta dei nuovi collaboratori, sempre cordiali e sorridenti.
