28/07/2024: Fuera del camino turístico principal y comimos en el entorno del patio encantador. La pareja que lo posee era tan amable y acogedor. La comida era tan fresca y deliciosa. El pastel de chocolate fundido con salsa de bayas frescas fue increíble. Me encantó todo

18/07/2024: Alojarse con amigos y su familia a pocos km de Cortona. Los niños hicieron la Reserva para todos nosotros, ya que estaban saliendo en los próximos días. Nueve de nosotros estábamos en el patio íntimo, aunque al ser una noche cálida la unidad de aire acondicionado era adecuada y un gran tiempo para todos - bromas fluían con el personal, la comida era genial y en general a un precio muy razonable. Sin duda una noche para recordar y una gran excusa para un viaje de regreso a Cortona.

15/06/2024: Che dire? Una sicurezza. Se ti piace la cucina tradizionale e genuina questo posto è il massimo! Tutto buono come e più che a casa (quando a casa si mangia bene!) servizio gentile e disponibile, location bellissima sull'Arno "bambino" non aggiungo altro, io vengo qui da sempre e ogni volta non resto mai delusa! Provatelo e mi ringrazierete! Prenotare perché dato l'eccezionale rapporto qualità/prezzo, è sempre strapieno!

05/08/2024: Returning from our holiday we stopped in the wonderful Camaldoli and had lunch on the external garden veranda of the Baroni inn. The service was excellent and the young girl who served us was very nice and kind, also suggesting very good and excellent quality dishes such as the final dessert. Recommended place.

If you can't find a place with the friars (always busy, you have to book well in advance), you have to suffer the blackmail of this monopolist. Prices highly higher than those in the area, mediocre structure, quite arrogant manager. Even for catering, as there are no grocery stores and other facilities, one is almost forced to rely on him (who also manages the restaurant). The food is good but the prices are high. We were on half board but there were supplements to pay on almost the entire menu, and we also had to pay for water (it was found on the table without us ordering it, it's not done that way, if you put it there it must be free) . If you are forced to use this monopolist, don't take half board, for dinner at the friars' place you can eat for 14 euros. Very disappointing experience overall.

05/08/2024: A 8' da Loro Ciuffenna, tra i I borghi più belli d'Italia, c'è il casolare che tutti gli amanti della vita bucolica vorrebbero. Dopo una breve strada circondata dal bosco, si parcheggia in un grande prato e una gentile signora ci fa accomodare sotto una tettoia circondata dal verde e da due tattici ventilatori che alle 13 a fine luglio con 38°fanno sempre comodo! Chi prenderà l'ordine ci istruisce su come usare la Wi-FI e il QR code per consultare il menu: tecnologico, a prova di igiene e agevole per la scelta delle portate senza glutine, indicate con una spiga gialla. Dividiamo un abbondante tagliere di salumi e formaggi con una composta speciale di nespole e mirtilli, a seguire l'ottimo petto di pollo farcito e Tarese di Valdarno. Buona la fettona di pane senza glutine con 3 coccoli a sorpresa!

13/07/2024: Locale ristrutturato molto bene, cibo un pò caro ma ne vale la pena. Bevande e cocktail ottimi. Siamo andati a prendere un gelato dopo cena con amici, ed è veramente squisito. Però assurdo che ancora nel 2024 un locale così, sia privo di aria condizionata. Solo il tempo della fila per il gelato da sentirsi male. Con tutti quei frigoriferi, i motori buttano aria calda di continuo e non vi dico che temperatura arriva all'interno. Il ragazzo che faceva il gelato, aveva la fronte pralinato dal sudore e non vi dico la camicia. Anche le altre persone in fila si sono lamentate per il caldo eccessivo. Spero che possano mettere mano a questa cosa ma ormai sono anni che è così e non credo che questa mia recensione possa aiutare quei poveri camerieri.

So here we were crossing the threshold of the restaurant some time ago: here they cook excellently, and they know how to stay among the tables. Unfortunately, participating in a certain type of program easily exposes one to the most usable judgement. However, you can be wrong and I believe, as already said, that he was excessive in expressing himself negatively about the other participants. Beyond the fact that it is incorrect to judge without having been there given that it is a rule of reviews to do so only after having consumed, it also applies on a moral level: anyone who gets so indignant is certainly no better than anyone they judge. The prices have not been pumped, the quality is excellent, as is the service. It is an address to absolutely take into consideration, I can only recommend it
