05/08/2025: Renovated premises, home-style cooking from the ElimiEricina translation. I've been there daily for lunch for years while working with colleagues. Highly recommended for tourists, as the locals already know and appreciate it. Very reasonable prices and good, fresh ingredients. For dessert, ask for the Cassatelle.

05/05/2025: I arrived in Mazara to visit the city and looking on the internet I looked for a self-service restaurant and I found Vito's self-service bar, I went in and met him, a nice, easy-going and very polite person. The place is small but well looked after. And what about the dishes, I immediately noticed the vast choice of first and second courses based on meat or fish cooked to perfection, in short, everything was good, low prices and generous portions. I gave five stars and they deserve it, surely if I pass through Mazara again I will go and have lunch with him. Well done guys!

04/07/2025: They say their specialty is FRIED CASSATELLE, which are indeed sublime. The fact is that all the other desserts (from those who offer a very wide selection) are no less. Strategic location on the state road with parking available in front. What can I say? I wish I lived right in front.

04/08/2025: We were visiting Mazara from Campania with a Sicilian friend who, while walking, was drawn to this lovely place and its aperitif-couscous menu: abundant fried fish, including Arab brik and delicious fish couscous. We also tried the famous raw fish of Mazara and were delighted, all washed down with a nice chilled wine. Welcoming service from start to finish!

17/07/2025: Every time I return to Alcamo, my stop is Spizzy Pollo. The fries are excellent, as is the spit-roasted chicken. The only downside is the wait, even if you've booked.

07/08/2025: Très bel hôtel situé dans le charmant village de Scopello. La vue sur la mer depuis la chambre que nous avions choisie était superbe. Le petit-déjeuner et les dîners étaient délicieux — je les recommande vivement. La piscine était très agréable et originale ! Elle paraît plus petite sur les photos du site, mais en réalité, elle est suffisamment grande pour nager confortablement. Le jardin est absolument magnifique, et le restaurant du midi, à l’ambiance décontractée, offre une très belle vue sur la mer. Le service était chaleureux et très agréable.

Location (panorama mozzafiato che permette di vedere la splendida costa di scopello nonostante il ristorante si trovi in una zona collinare), servizio impeccabile e cortese, materia prima di ottima qualità e piatti presentati con un’idea dietro la preparazione, bilanciati e saporiti! Si intuisce che il lavoro dello staff è volto a dare il meglio per la clientela e questo è possibile soltanto quando si mette passione ed amore per il proprio lavoro. Molto cortese e piacevole anche il gestore del locale che ha permesso di concludere questa esperienza con un ulteriore sorriso! Consigliatissimo!
