The place inside is small and has a few tables outside. Continuous influx of customers.
I tried the arancino (€2). Very good and tasty (a little tasty for me but I finished it all pleasantly). Completely competitive prices. Definitely recommended.

12/01/2025: Restaurant near the Avola seafront. We had dinner with friends. Very nice environment. Very fresh fish cooked with skill. The spaghetti with sea urchins is excellent. Attentive service. The dessert does not disappoint
03/01/2025: 02.01.2025: returned for dinner, rating completely changed, as I expected, excellent food and everything perfect.
Previous review: Small but welcoming location, they had told me well about it, but I think it was a bad evening, otherwise the food arrived cold, orders were missing, waiting for the beverage... the only happy note was the plating, but with serious errors, a cacio e pepe without cheese but with cream. Probably not suitable for groups (there were 13 of us) too bad, thank you for the availability of vegan pasta off the menu

07/01/2025: No pizza available "after lunch", instead we were offered pinsa, supposedly similar. However, the serving size was obscene (big), an homage to Chicago style (lots of almost raw dough), and the whole thing tasted - below average. There are many better options available.
29/12/2024: The fish first courses are truly excellent. Every dish we tasted was prepared with the freshest ingredients and the flavor was simply delicious. The mixed fried fish was particularly tasty, perfectly cooked and impeccably seasoned.
The pizza is really too good! The crust was crunchy but soft at the right point, and the choice of toppings was vast and varied. We tried several varieties and each of them exceeded our expectations.
The location is elegant and welcoming, with a spectacular view of the sea which makes the atmosphere even more evocative. It is the ideal place for both a romantic dinner and an evening with friends.
Finally, I want to underline the kindness and helpfulness of the staff. They were all very attentive and thoughtful, making our experience even more enjoyable.
In summary, La Scogliera is a restaurant that I highly recommend to anyone who is in Avola. Great food, a lovely atmosphere and impeccable service. I can't wait to return!

18/02/2025: Nice location (I was outside), the mussel soup was excellent, the pasta sauce was a little too liquid, but it tasted good. Friendly but too present staff (I hate it when the waiter watches me while I eat...). Anyway recommended

05/01/2025: It is an alternative - more reserved and less mainstream - to the usual Caffè 900, Molo clubs etc.
It is accessed both from an elegant avenue and laterally, from the wall overlooking the main road.
There is a good choice of beers, wines and bitters.
It is also possible to have an aperitif or consume some hot dishes (such as toast or, if necessary, pizzas, etc.).
I recommend it to stay away from the confusion of Avola, especially in summer.
