27/09/2024: Gran bar y panadería local con todos los artículos fragantes llevados en la habitación de atrás. Si estás en la zona de Zisa o te quedas por allí, esta es una excelente opción de desayuno, los pasteles y dulces están recién horneados y deliciosos. Me encantaron especialmente las bombas de raviole, pequeñas y oscuras, de ricota pastelera que sabían a pecado en un plato. Asientos espartanos, servicio amable, un montón de deliciosas cosas dulces para probar!
16/09/2024: Dopo aver provato la buonissima treccina con le gocce di cioccolato, decido - ad occhi chiusi - di portare a cena a casa di amici un vassoio di dolci. E scelgo milleluci...
Che dire... Mai fatta una figuraccia del genere. I dolci erano palesemente del giorno prima. Cannolicchi immangiabili (la ricotta non era terribile), dolcetti al gelo di mellone altrettanto, bignè con crema duri. Insomma quel vassoio era tutto fuorché fresco.
Con grande dispiacere per me la pasticceria è ❌ bocciata.
Peccato... Ripenso a quella treccina e correrei a comprarne una decina.

Messinese-style, and the arancini above all, but the
wonder is spending an evening enjoying the bar life.

Sambuca di sicilia
25/04/2024: La pasticceria Giglio a Sambuca e’un’istituzione così anche il ristorante presente probabilmente fin dagli anni 70. Quando torniamo a sambuca lo frequentiamo spesso poiché i proprietari sono gentili e i prodotti molto buoni. Consigliamo i lieviti al mattino i semifreddi e in particolare anche le cassatine. Ottimo anche il cappuccino della signora Carla

02/04/2025: A good pastry shop in the southern part of the city. Small but welcoming, the owners are courteous, quick, and helpful, even explaining the products and their production methods. Small pastries, decent ricotta and black and white cannoli. Fair prices.
