28/11/2024: Eating there 2 evenings first half of October 2024. Very nice restaurant, slightly out of town with sufficient car parking facilities. Excellent food, fast service, attentive staff, good price/quality ratio. Quickly full so reservation is a must in high and in-between season. Although visited by both locals and tourists alike, speaking Italian is definitely helping when you want to order vegan food.

19/10/2024: I see that regarding this place, there are "local guides" who certainly write reviews just to earn points, when they should be reliable guides. Why am I writing this? Because I have been to the "cafè bistrot" several times, both before Covid and also in the following period, when the management and staff changed......But I see that there are recent positive reviews, and even very recent ones, or some reviews have been modified recently, but the owner's response is dated several years ago......And it is not clear why fake news and reviews from 1, 2, 3 or 4 weeks ago, or from last months, or last year or more, with stars and compliments to the place, IF THE REALITY IS: THAT THIS PLACE HAS NOW BEEN CLOSED FOR SEVERAL MONTHS, AFTER THE LAST MANAGERS LEFT IT, and it is clearly visible on the main door, the sign with the writing: LOCAL CLOSED, seen by me personally...So anyone who writes false reviews, giving ratings etc etc, especially for the last few months, is just a "local guide" who has never passed by this former bar lately , and he doesn't know that it's been closed for a long time now... The rest is just boasting about nothing, and nothing more... Years ago it was an excellent place. A welcoming and hospitable environment. Everything perfect...But now it is a closed and abandoned place, with the writing clearly visible to everyone: LOCATION CLOSED...

27/11/2024: So let me start by saying that I don't like the place very much in terms of lighting and general aesthetics. But all in all it's ok, it's personal taste, it's a fairly classic bistro. The barista was smiling and kind and the coffee was delicious, price 1.20 euros. Recommended for a short or long stop.

29/12/2024: Pizza inacquata, peggio del mare. Avevo ordinato una pizza con prosciutto crudo e mozzarella, mi è arrivata una pizza rossa con prosciutto, senza mozzarella. La dimensione era abbastanza piccola della pizza, nn era speciale anzi. Si poteva definire una "brodaglia". Il gelato a mio parere costa tanto per Niente

13/10/2024: My wife and I have had the most wonderful time in Piscina Rei and would like to thank the staff and owners of the Pink Lady restaurant who served some of the most wonderful Sardinian dishes I've tasted in the years I've been coming to Piscina Rei. If you're looking for a relaxing atmosphere and very friendly staff then the Pink Lady restaurant is a must. It's family friendly and they go over and above to please you. The fish stew is a must, enjoy!!!

14/10/2024: I gave it 4 stars a few months ago. Then I had the misfortune of catching some tuna, I had never done so. Inedible sticky, even to the touch you could tell it wasn't the best. When cooked it remained pink inside and the smell was unpleasant. It's a shame because in the first review I was satisfied but unfortunately not with this one. Is it possible that you didn't realize that it was unsellable?

14/02/2025: One of the historic bars of Cagliari which however has remained stuck, in a negative way, in those times gone by. If it weren't for the retro decor which undoubtedly has its charm, it would be an anonymous village bar. Pasta and pizzas good enough but nothing excellent; coffee and cappuccino unfortunately undrinkable. Supermarket infusions and herbal teas (Twinings) but at the price of a high quality product (€4.50). Because the real problem is the prices: too high for the quality offered: a small cannon (half of the usual cannons) €2.20 and a burnt cappuccino €2.80. It's a shame, the staff is friendly and, as mentioned, the environment and furnishings have their own history that still draws people inside.

24/02/2025: ordinare le pizze e scoprire dal prezzo che sono decisamente più care rispetto alla media mercato del paese mi lascia decisamente spiazzato sulla consegna della pizza possono decisamente migliorare i tempi...

09/02/2025: Location fantastica, praticamente sulla spiaggia. Cibo di ottima qualità, spaghetti ai ricci di mare favoloso. Molto gradevole, praticamente all’aperto ma con un’aria molto gradevole. Servizio ottimo Conto, adeguato alla qualità del cibo ed alla posizione.

26/09/2024: Decisamente troppo costoso, 93€ per un antipasto di polpo, due spaghetti vongole, acqua S.Pellegrino 750 a 6€ e 2 caffè. Gli spaghetti molto buoni e impeccabili ma 25€ a porzione sono tanti. Servizio professionale dei camerieri, ma non stai su una terrazza pazzesca affacciata sul mare.

28/11/2024: Excellent food, a very interesting and varied menu with seafood first courses that are truly worth it and sandwiches that are simply fantastic. For those who aren't interested in carbohydrates they have meat and fish main courses that will surely satisfy even the most refined palates. We ate an abundant and tasty lobster first course and a super cutlet sandwich accompanied by chips, super satisfied!

16/11/2024: Sono venuta un sabato a pranzo, ho preso una braciola affumicata e dei funghi gratinati: braciola veramente ottima e funghi altrettanto. Servizio veloce, cameriere molto gentili e prezzo onesto.

11/01/2025: Offerta culinaria sicuramente di livello con accostamenti inusuali e combinazioni intriganti, ma che non ha sorpreso per profondità di gusto e complessità di sapore. Personale molto cortese ed efficiente.

08/01/2025: Bad experience, you can't sit outside because the pigeons attack the tables and neither the waiters nor the owner are upset, in fact they make it laugh They attack in the ferocious sense of the word, they jump on the tables and knock everything down and there is no need to move

16/10/2024: Ich kann die schlechte Bewertung nicht nachvollziehen! Wir sind selbst aus der Gastronomie und daher immer sehr kritisch, aber hier hatten wir wirklich nichts auszusetzen. Das Personal ist aufmerksam und freundlich und das Essen war überragend. Wir werden auf jeden Fall wieder kommen.

14/10/2024: This is a really pretty restaurant. Staff were really friendly and service was good as well. We arrived late and was nice to still be served. We both had pizzas but these were massive and could probably have shared. Only slight disappointment was pizza was pretty greasy. Would return though

21/09/2024: After several requests to reserve/order a table in September 2024 there was no response!? A reputably run ristorante cannot afford such an approach.

26/01/2025: Aperitivo veloce con cocktail Sam pellegrino e un marocchino. Ci hanno portato un piattino con pizzette napoli e rustici, molto buoni. Conto 13,00€. Il bancone era ricco di prodotti dolci e salati ma dovendo andare a pranzo in un altro locale non abbiamo mangiato oltre. Torneremo per provare altro.

05/01/2025: Pessimo servizio. Mi dispiace, ma il servizio al tavolo ci è costato più di 7€, e non ne valeva nemmeno uno. È la prima volta che ricevo un trattamento del genere. Abbiamo ordinato del prosecco e chiesto se fosse possibile avere qualche nocciolina in accompagnamento, ma ci è stato risposto che non si usano. Durante la serata, però, abbiamo notato che ad altri tavoli venivano serviti prosecco o spritz con stuzzichini di accompagnamento, mentre a noi era stato detto che non esistono in questo locale. Va bene. Successivamente abbiamo ordinato delle pizze e chiesto cortesemente di portare la birra insieme alla pizza. Dopo pochi minuti, però, ci è stata portata la birra, nonostante avessimo specificato di riceverla con la pizza. Abbiamo chiesto nuovamente di servire la birra insieme al cibo. Quando finalmente sono arrivate le pizze, ci è stata riportata la stessa birra di prima, ormai sgasata e senza schiuma. Ho chiesto se fosse la stessa birra già servita in precedenza e, nonostante l’imbarazzo della cameriera, ha continuato a insistere che fosse stata riempita di nuovo. Cosa vi costava cambiare la birra? Da lì è iniziato un teatrino mai visto. Alla fine, ci siamo ritrovati a sentire i toni accesi di un altro cameriere (lo stesso che ci aveva servito all’inizio), il quale affermava di aver riempito lui la birra. Peccato che il responsabile del bar fosse un altro e che un terzo cameriere ci avesse detto la stessa cosa. Insomma, chi ha effettivamente “riempito” questi boccali di birra non lo abbiamo capito bene. Un consiglio: un po’ di educazione prima di tutto. Bastava un semplice “ci dispiace” e portare una birra fresca e servita correttamente. Le bugie non servono. Non siamo nati ieri.
