16/07/2026: We loved this restaurant supplied by the fisherman’s coop of the area. Portions are plentiful: we enjoyed oysters, tuna salad, bottarga, fregola with seafood and charcoal grilled mullet. Very fresh seafood, well seasoned, one course arriving after you are finished. Bread, water and wine are included along with dessert. For 45 euros we found it to be a very fair deal. Note, you must drive on a long dirt road to get there, but parking is easy. The surroundings are incredibly beautiful.
11/07/2026: The experience was below expectations. The location is nice and well-lit, but the dishes weren't up to par for a place where you expect fresh, well-cooked fish. Very touristy and geared toward people who aren't very familiar with seafood.
I saved two of the appetizers offered: the Catalan-style blue crab (they didn't provide the tongs to cut it) and the two raw oysters. The rest of the food was the mullet carpaccio, dry, and the scambecciu (fish) was dry, but the sauce was tasty. The first course was fregola with blue crab sauce. The sauce was excellent, but the fregola was terrible, definitely cooked separately and then mixed together. The second course was roasted mullet fillets (not fresh), very dry, and then (supposedly) pickled, which in my opinion was nonexistent. The mini-sorbet (a small coffee cup) was good, but the white wine included in the price was awful. Let's just say that with a few adjustments, it would have been passable. €45 per person.

12/07/2026: Very nice place, even if a bit hidden. My experience wasn't exactly positive.
The wait staff was very friendly, but the food disappointed me. The seafood grill was poor, one shrimp, one mini cuttlefish, and one tiny fish. It could have been enough for one person, but everything was so salty and inedible. My wife had fried calamari, also incredibly salty and inedible. As soon as we finished, we were all hungry, so we asked for pizza, which, unlike the rest, was delicious. It's a shame because it's very nice.

08/06/2026: We stumbled upon this ice cream shop by chance and ordered an ice cream that had a very strange and disgusting flavor. We felt terrible all night, with excruciating colon cramps! A terrible experience!

Recommendation
The pastries are good, and I recently tried the gelato 😋, amazing.

Paying €5.80 for two coffees and two half-cups of water is simply not an option, even at a table.
Whatever you want, but it's outrageous.
Luckily, we didn't eat any pastries.
Now I understand why the place was empty at 11 in the morning (not a soul in sight).
21/11/2025: I had breakfast, excellent coffee, and excellent creamy pasta. It's small compared to what we see around, and it's eye-catching but lacks substance. You immediately realize this isn't just any old place; it's a refined setting with a certain clientele. As soon as you enter, you realize that all these aspects, including the atmosphere, take you back to a time that I believe even Cagliari has long since lost, a symbol of a wealthy Cagliari that has quietly worked to bring about development. A top rating for everything.

14/02/2026: I ordered two pizzas and a portion of fries, asking if home delivery was available. They replied that they had a delivery slot between 9:40 PM and 10:00 PM, and that the fries were sold out (at 8:10 PM).
At 10:15 PM, having not received my order, I tried to contact the pizzeria, but received no response.
The pizzas arrived cold, unmade, and with little toppings at 10:35 PM, more than half an hour late, with the receipt showing a delivery time of 10:10 PM (therefore significantly late).
This isn't the first time they've been late with a delivery.
It should be noted that no one bothered to contact me to let me know about the delay (answering the calls would have been enough), and no one even considered offering a minimal discount given the poor service.
Terrible service and subpar pizzas.
Avoid.
14/02/2026: They're late with deliveries, then don't respond, and even block you. The pizza is good, but honestly, after a 40-minute delay without even notifying you, I won't call again.

07/04/2026: I asked if they could kindly remake the cappuccino because it was really very dark and had a lot of coffee in it. They replied that it was a "normal" cappuccino and that I hadn't asked for it to be "light." Other bars don't make cappuccinos that dark. They remade it and even charged us for the cappuccino we didn't consume. Production costs are fine, but a good entrepreneur should also know how to build customer loyalty, especially if they're new, perhaps learning to understand their tastes, because then a customer "feels at home." I wonder if gaining, or not losing, an extra €1.50
was worth the loss of two new customers and some bad publicity. And the writer is an entrepreneur.

08/03/2026: Excellent pastry shop in the center of Cagliari. Visited Sunday morning for breakfast, the place was packed, and the staff were friendly. The barista, I discovered, has been working at the counter for 35 years... everyone was excellent.

Hotel Ristorante Le Anfore

18/10/2025: We stayed at this hotel with two children for three nights in mid-October.
Check-in was very pleasant. They explained to us which direction the wind would be blowing in the next few days and which beaches they recommended.
The in-house restaurant was a dream in terms of food, so we spent two evenings there. The service staff was also very good.
Whether at meals or at reception, the staff were always friendly. That's unfortunately still rare in Germany. And I trained as a hotel manager myself and always look at the restaurant industry with a strict eye. I like to find something to complain about. ;-) Not at this hotel, however.
Unfortunately, the pool wasn't heated. But that didn't bother my husband and children.
The rooms were cleaned daily. There were more than enough towels. You could borrow umbrellas, toys, etc. for the beach. The Wi-Fi was faster than at home.
The city center was a 15-minute walk away.
It was the perfect location for us.
The nearest beaches are a 5-minute drive away, the city center and supermarket are 2 minutes away, and the location is quiet with a view of the mountains.
18/10/2025: The rooms are a bit dated, but this is more than compensated for by the overall package and, above all, the incredible friendliness and humanity of the staff.
-Eating in the restaurant in the evening is highly recommended 👍🏽
-Superbly maintained grounds and a beautiful (unheated) pool 👍🏽
-There are several cats living on the property, and when our children wanted to pet them, a staff member was immediately on hand to give them small treats to entice them 👍🏽
-When one of our children injured his knee, he received immediate help, the wound was cleaned, and he was given a hug. You could really feel the humanity shown to you🫶🏼
-Moderate breakfast buffet, but you don't need more than that 👍🏽
-Really good location, great advice on beaches, etc. 👍🏽

11/07/2025: Geweldige zaak. Degustatiemenu genomen (85 euro 6 gangen en Italiaanse wijnparing voor 40 euro) en elk gerecht was top! Ze gebruiken lokale producten en zijn gekend voor hun tonijn! Leuke sfeer, vraag om op terras te eten.

19/07/2025: Location carina e personale gentile, ma oltre a questo il nulla! Appena ci siamo seduti, il direttore di sala si è precitato al tavolo per informarci che per i primi piatti ci sarebbe stato da attendere oltre un'ora in quanto l'orario (le 21.15) era quello del massimno afflusso di clienti. Abbiamo così optato per una due fritture iniziali e per un piatto di spaghetti da portare successivamente. Definire la prima portata scarsa è poco, la barchetta di legno era mezza vuota, frittura che nel piatto avrebbe fatto una figura ancora più misera (ecco spiegata la scelta di questo anomalo piatto di portata..)! Ma il peggio è stato il proseguo, con un primo piatto che nulla aveva a che vedere con quello ordinato: invece di un piatto di spaghetti, ci hanno servito un piatto di cappellini, molto più veloci da cuocere (infatti è arrivato dopo 40' e non dopo l'ora abbondante ipotizzata inizialmente), ma che in termini di gusto, nulla avevano a che vedere con gli spaghetti. Esperienza NEGATIVA, sicuramente da non ripete, visto anche il prezzo delle portate, 28€ per la frittuira e 18€ gli pseudo-spaghetti!!

09/07/2025: Si fa fatica a descrivere l esperienza vissuta in questo ristorante. La posizione è carina, ma appena si mette piede nel ristorante si ha l impressione che tutto sia un po’ lasciato al caso.
Seduti al regalo arriva il primo cameriere che ci chiede solo se volevamo dell acqua. Dopo un po’ arriva il secondo chiediamo un piatto fuori menù: una tartare di tonno. Dopo aver chiesto al maitre di sala, allo chef ci arriva. Presentazione molto casalinga qualità buona. Ai primi un flop totale. Risotto e fregola piatti senza un minimo di sapore. Pago un conto di ca 150€ per una tartare, due primi, 2 tagliate di anguria e 2 calici di vino. Il dopo è ancora più assurdo. Poi aver lasciato il locale ci raggiunge il maitre di sala e ci chiede se dal conto poteva togliere il primo che non avevamo mangiato. Allucinante
