05/07/2026: The hostess at this restaurant immediately put a damper on any desire to visit. Rudely, citing the forecast for rain and, consequently, the lack of available seats, she refused to provide service and didn't even try to offer an alternative to a family with two children who simply wanted to eat there.
According to the weather forecast that day, rain wasn't expected, and you knew it. We agreed to sit on the outdoor terrace, assuming all the risks. You simply said no, turned around, and left. Apparently, that's exactly what Sardinian hospitality is all about.

07/07/2026: Average prices, decent location, nice and helpful waitress. THE BARTENDER (the smaller one) HAD A DEFINITELY OUT OF PLACE ATTITUDE: ARROGANT, KNOWN-GOOD, DISINTEGRATED, RUDE, UNACCEPTABLE, GRUMPY, and HORRIBLE.
He snapped at a customer before me at the cash register, and then at me and a friend of mine. Repeatedly. I ABSOLUTELY DO NOT RECOMMEND.
05/07/2026: This morning I wanted to have breakfast. I asked a waitress if she would take orders at the table, and she said yes, but another waitress would come to take the order. The same waitress who told me she wouldn't take orders, but she did for another table, and they were served before me, even though I waited over 15 minutes. Terrible disorganization... let alone a supermarket, the cashier recounts life experiences at the register while others wait in line to pay... truly ignorant people.

20/06/2026: A decidedly negative experience. From the start, we noticed poor organization and excessive wait times. From appetizers to pizza, we waited about an hour before being served. Even the table next to us didn't receive their pizzas until an hour and a half later, a sign that the problem wasn't just us.
Furthermore, the older lady at the entrance was unkind and unwelcoming, leaving us with a bad impression from the moment we arrived.
To make matters worse, we waited 10 minutes for dessert cutlery, and we found a hair in the dessert—a very unpleasant incident that left us even more disappointed.
Disorganized service and poor customer service made the evening anything but enjoyable. I don't recommend this place, and personally, I won't return. One of the worst experiences we've had at a pizzeria.

25/08/2025: Gino and his family, with their bar/gelateria, are an icon throughout the town. I have childhood memories of eating their gelato in the square with my old and dear friends.
Their passion for their work has never waned after all these years.
The pastries, gelato, pizzas, and drinks are as top-notch as ever.

A special thanks to the lady who served us, truly kind and smiling: her courtesy made the experience even more enjoyable. You can tell that customer service is a real priority here.
Whether for breakfast, a quick coffee, or a more relaxed break, Borromini Caffè is a must-visit. I'll definitely be back! ☕💛

22/05/2026: The hotel is well-located and central, yet we were able to park on the street every day without any problems. It's nicely renovated and comfortable. We didn't try the restaurant because we went on a day trip to the beautiful beaches of Sardinia. We would definitely return.
22/05/2026: The central location is excellent for the feast of Sant'Egidio on May 1st.
The breakfast isn't the best, it's standard. But the staff is always helpful. The rooms aren't bad, a little dated but comfortable. Antique in the beautiful sense.
In any case, there are some valuable collectibles. Kudos to the owner for that.

24/05/2026: We were welcomed with great friendliness and professionalism. The tasting menu was perfect, and my wife, who is celiac, was able to enjoy everything they offered.
13/03/2026: We ordered two tasting menus.
The appetizers were numerous and very good.
Unfortunately, we were unlucky with the first and second courses.
For the first course, they gave us two options: salmon ravioli or squid ink tagliolini with grouper ragù and bottarga.
We chose tagliolini. The ragù was delicious, but the type of pasta made the dish subpar. The fresh pasta was too sweet, broken, and soggy, making the dish nauseating. With thick spaghetti, the ragù would have been excellent.
For the second course, they only offered cod with yellow tomato and squid sauce. The sauce was delicious, but again, the fish, a bit stringy, was completely out of place. That sauce would have been perfect with sea bass, meagre, sea bream, etc. I wouldn't have expected such a fish.
In any case, the selection of dishes was too limited. If I return, I'll opt for the à la carte menu because there was a wider selection of dishes, which I honestly don't understand isn't extended to those who opt for the tasting menu (besides, diners are required to order the same dishes).
Very good desserts.
Attentive service.
