The owner of a place or the man who works there was really nice, he gave us some information what to see and where to eat in Cagliari, his recommendation which was a nice touch. Although I wouldn't go back there for food.

11/03/2026: We made a quick trip to Cagliari for work and stumbled upon this pastry shop by chance. It was a very pleasant surprise. The owner at the cash register was very kind, and the staff was cheerful and helpful. The products we tried for breakfast were truly delicious! Well done!

The environment is poorly soundproofed...a bit pricey for a beer with a steak and potatoes main course, especially considering the lack of a cloth tablecloth and napkin, only paper ones...one very negative note, coming from an adjacent private room, loud music and cigarette smoke.

18/04/2026: If you're hanging around the Marina and looking for substance at the right price, Ci Pensa Cannas is a guarantee, believe me. It's one of those "old-school" trattorias where the atmosphere is super familiar and informal, with no pretensions and a warm welcome. The cuisine is the essence of this place: simple, traditional dishes without too many frills. It's my favorite place when I don't feel like cooking at home but am looking for that authentic flavor. The staff are incredibly kind and always on point, available when needed but never intrusive. The prices are excellent, especially for being right in the center. The set menu is also a great way to save your money. If you want the real Cagliari, the authentic one that resists fads, come here. You'll feel at home from the first minute. A tip from a local: enjoy the fact that there's no signal. With no Wi-Fi and no notifications, the flavors almost seem more intense because you're 100% focused on what you're eating. Less Instagram, more Vermentino!

15/04/2026: We ate well, it's a shame the service forgot about us. We waited 20 minutes for our plates to be cleared, then another 10 minutes. We gave up and left without ordering the dessert included in the set menu, and no one even offered it to us. Was it because we asked to change tables because a flashing light above ours was bothering my husband, who has a health problem and shouldn't see that kind of light for fear of balance problems and inner ear dysfunction? A mystery! In any case, a strange atmosphere!

10/04/2026: A beautiful little square in Cagliari that hosts this very charming little bar... a spartan but very welcoming place with tables set under large trees... a few small plates for lunch, sandwiches and sfoglia pizzas... well done!

07/03/2026: Neighborhood bar, close to several popular spots in the city. I don't know what it was like years ago, but as of March 7, 2026, the experience is disappointing. First, and most important, factor: the food. Savoury: I can't fully judge it, since I only bought a "leavened" pizza (I'm quoting their name), but I'm not sure what was leavened (to be honest, I can't joke about "the price," since, all things considered, it wasn't very expensive). Dessert: What can I say? It was definitely fried without regard for the oil temperature (so it absorbed a lot of oil and released it during the tasting). The cream cannoli was like any industrial pastry. The white chocolate shell was good (it's a shame it wasn't very filling). Lactose-free cappuccino: I have to say, good but unpretentious. Staff: The waiter who served us was super friendly, kind, and helpful! Atmosphere: We sat at the outdoor tables, which aren't particularly well-kept, but I'm giving this a 4-star rating because I don't mind the inside; it seems like a nice gathering place for local friends and family.

03/04/2026: The pizza was prepared very quickly. A standard-sized salami pizza costs 6 euros (as of March 3, 2026). It was really delicious, in true Italian style))) It’s a family business, and it was nice to watch. Thank you. The Quattro Formaggi pizza with salami (standard size) was 7 euros!!!! Very tasty.

08/03/2026: I've been frequenting Roberto Piras's Le Delizie butcher shop for about two years now, and I can say with absolute certainty that it's become my go-to place. I stock up on average twice a week, and each time I find the same combination of friendliness, professionalism, and top-quality meat. The freshness of the products is evident, and the selection of cuts is always extensive. I also greatly appreciate the frequent offers on various cuts of meat, which allow me to try different products while maintaining a consistently high standard of quality. Their food deserves a special mention: I use them regularly for lunches and dinners with family and friends, and I always receive compliments. Everyone always asks me to pass on the compliments to the butchers for the deliciousness of their dishes, which are truly excellent. I also want to share an episode that really struck me. Before Christmas, I organized the shipping of two gift packages for my parents on the mainland with them. They did a truly wonderful job, preparing two perfectly personalized baskets based on the recipients' tastes. A special thanks goes to Cristian, the guy with the eyebrow piercing, who took care of everything with truly rare helpfulness and care, from packing the packages to shipping them. It's clear when there's passion, humanity, and great professionalism behind a job. Highly recommended!

05/04/2026: A great place to refuel while traveling in the deep south of Sardinia. You can sit inside, on the shaded outdoor terrace, or in the garden under umbrellas. Reasonable prices. Open even on Easter, when almost all other businesses are closed.

We managed to get a chicken cutlet for the kids, which wasn't on the menu – so kudos to the staff for their helpfulness and flexibility.
