12/04/2026: The croissants are excellent, even the savory ones. I was only disappointed with the brioche because I asked for chocolate to be added, but it wasn't. It's not fair to pay €0.80 or €1 more when you don't get anything.

17/03/2026: La Baita di Monteparano is one of those places you discover almost by chance and then become a regular. I've been there several times, and each time I've had the same feeling: tranquility, care, and quality. The place is clean, tidy, and well-kept, but what's truly striking is the exterior. The landscape is meticulously maintained, with these splendid centuries-old ornamental olive trees pruned with ball-shaped foliage, giving the place a unique elegance, almost relaxing just looking at them. It's the classic place where you sit and feel comfortable, unhurried. Perfect for both breakfast with friends and a late-afternoon aperitif. The desserts are beautiful to look at and, above all, delicious, and overall the food is truly delicious: you can sense the attention and quality in what's served. It's located on the road connecting Monteparano to San Giorgio Ionico, making it very convenient to get to. It's one of those places worth stopping in for a while, not just passing through. It's not just a bar; it's a small, well-kept corner where you can enjoy a well-deserved break. Very, very nice. Highly recommended.

16/01/2026: Comfortable place both in winter and summer, the only flaw is the owner always at the cash register with a hat, he doesn't smile, he doesn't greet, he seems embalmed.

27/07/2025: Last night after dinner, I went to this place for the first time with my friends. I had a great time. We sat on the sofas, which were free, and enjoyed the location. The girl who served us was very kind and helpful. I ordered a cocktail called "Viola," which was really good, and I accompanied it with cream-filled zeppole, which were also very good. We didn't particularly like the macarons, but that didn't ruin our post-dinner experience.

27/07/2025: Gentlemen....you have to take into account that, even if you sit down and don't consume anything...they make you pay for the "cover charge"... 1 euro per person...after all, someone has to pay for the roof, right?...in fact it was packed with people...ridiculous

18/05/2026: Truly poor quality and incredibly high prices. Rude staff. I bought the worst pastries in the entire city here. I never expected to have to throw away an entire tray of cakes I'd bought on Sunday because they were truly awful, both in flavor and texture. Some even smelled of rotten eggs, the creams were dry and spoiled, and even the dough was dry (the millefeuille tasted like it was made of cardboard, for example): the worst mini pastries ever, the quality terrible. Not only did I pay a lot for them, but every time I go in, I never find the staff smiling or courteous. The only redeeming feature of this café is its location, right on Via Di Palma, in the heart of the city. A real shame. I don't recommend it.

14/01/2026: It used to be one of the best bars in the area, until they started selling stale, hard, defrosted croissants early in the morning...sometimes I even found the croissant cream had gone sour. On top of that, they've raised the prices sky-high, out of line with the quality offered. It's a real shame, I hope you return to offering the freshness and quality of the past, otherwise you'll lose customers.
