03/12/2025: Nice atmosphere and good pastries, but overpriced and unwelcoming. Every time you order something, the cover charge goes up by 50 cents. Two of us ordered two things, and we paid 4x the cover charge. Pure madness.

08/03/2026: We were in Taranto for personal reasons and while searching online for a place to eat, we saw that this restaurant was the winner of Borghese's 4 Ristoranti program, and yes, we chose it! And we were right to do so; the owner was very kind and recommended some dishes and an excellent wine. Sometimes, trusting someone is a good thing. The service was professional, unobtrusive, yet pleasant. The waiter, after realizing we weren't local, told us some facts about the swing bridge and other anecdotes—very interesting and enjoyable.

18/12/2025: A landmark for the town of Massafra and beyond... open 24 hours a day, every day except Tuesday, which is the day of rest.
You can enjoy a good coffee at any time of day, accompanied by a pastry, cake, or croissant... in short, there's no shortage of choice. The drinks list is very good, with a variety of beers and spirits, and you can also grab a savory snack.
The place is perfect for business meetings or small parties, thanks to its spacious mezzanine equipped with private areas.
You can also sit on the outdoor veranda or, during the summer months, on the large, well-equipped sidewalk.
Donato is always available and ready to satisfy everyone's needs.

Impeccable service provided directly by the very kind owners—a true treat, I'd say.
The dishes are excellent in taste and presentation, seasoned and adorned with fresh, locally grown spices... incredible aromas. I also had the pizza....MAGISTRAL!
What can I say about the dessert? A work of art!
Villa Bacco is a restaurant you simply must visit, so I highly recommend it, and I will return every chance I get. The price is right! ☺️

21/12/2025: After having dinner at a pub in Roccaforzata, and considering the limited options in the surrounding towns, we stopped at this bar to continue the evening. The place is very large and spacious, with a pleasant and well-organized atmosphere.
The staff immediately proved to be kind and friendly, welcoming us with professionalism. The coffee was good quality, as were the desserts on display, both in terms of presentation and flavor. Overall, the experience was positive.
