06/01/2026: I think it's not the first time I've been to this place, but I honestly don't think I'll be back after this last experience.
Let's start with the service, which was quick, mind you... but not excellent. We ordered carefully because we didn't want to weigh ourselves down (and luckily so). The food was terrible quality, even the mussels were awful. What can I say? Oh, the house wine. Believe me, my wife buys the sparkling Tavernello to cook with, and I swear it's much better. I really don't recommend it. I'm sorry I'm from Taranto, but alas, certain places need to understand and learn about catering.
06/01/2026: The appetizers, both raw and cooked, are excellent. The first course (paccheri alla pescatrice) is always excellent and plentiful. We'll definitely be back.

22/09/2025: This place was a discovery, my husband and I found ourselves in Martina Franca to visit the historic center and we stopped there for something to eat, excellent food and friendly staff.
12/08/2025: I'm often in Martina Franca for work and always have lunch at this restaurant. The staff is polite, the menu offers a variety of well-prepared dishes to suit all tastes and needs, and the prices are very reasonable. I absolutely recommend it 👍

21/12/2025: I already knew the Palagiano location, where I've always had excellent lunches. Yesterday I stopped by the Mottola location, where I met Enza Gentile, not just by name but also by nature. I'd come in to ask for just one basket as a Christmas gift, but when I saw the first one, I wanted to make the second one I'd been thinking of giving. 31/12/2025: After hearing about my win at 4 Ristoranti, I decided to return to this restaurant, which I'd been away for several years and where I've always enjoyed it. The quality of the food has always been excellent. I must say I've had to change my mind. After all these years of absence, the quality and tastiness of the food have drastically declined. Not to mention the fact that I ordered, among other things, a sea bream, which I immediately realized wasn't caught. When I complained to the owner, I was told that only sea bream farmed in the San Vito sea arrive in Taranto, and the ones that are caught are those that escape from the farm's nets...

18/12/2025: A landmark for the town of Massafra and beyond... open 24 hours a day, every day except Tuesday, which is the day of rest.
You can enjoy a good coffee at any time of day, accompanied by a pastry, cake, or croissant... in short, there's no shortage of choice. The drinks list is very good, with a variety of beers and spirits, and you can also grab a savory snack.
The place is perfect for business meetings or small parties, thanks to its spacious mezzanine equipped with private areas.
You can also sit on the outdoor veranda or, during the summer months, on the large, well-equipped sidewalk.
Donato is always available and ready to satisfy everyone's needs.

12/04/2025: Come da titolo, 2 ore l'attesa di un panino per 5 persone, a causa di uno scontrino messo da parte. Fatto notare al personale, veniamo serviti con velocità (dalle 21:30 alle 23:40 circa) al prezzo di avere puccie e pizze totalmente bruciate. (Risposte con aria nervosa tra l'altro)
Ah e insegnate ai camierieri di non prendersi confidenze che nessuno ha inteso dare (con nomignoli e soprannomi, o battute su persone che stavano male di stomaco e sono state costrette a non poter consumare...offendendo).
Se è frustrato del suo lavoro, che lo cambiasse.

03/12/2025: Nice atmosphere and good pastries, but overpriced and unwelcoming. Every time you order something, the cover charge goes up by 50 cents. Two of us ordered two things, and we paid 4x the cover charge. Pure madness.

03/01/2026: Disappointing place, incompetent staff...they don't even know how to make alcoholic aperitifs. We're from the north and are used to something else, especially since my husband owns a pub and we speak with knowledge. Taranto residents beware, terrible aperitifs and desserts that LITERALLY make you sick. Stay away from this place.
