22/03/2026: I visit Polignano a Mare several times every year and always visit CRU, owned by the same people who run Osteria di Chichibio. The food and decor are, as always, top-notch. From details like the lamps and cutlery to my favorite fluted glasses.
Unfortunately, on my last visit, there was no one at the entrance. An older gentleman (presumably the chef) came out, being rather curt and rude. He quickly offered me a table and left. The bad taste remained, as I'd brought someone very close to me, and from the moment I entered, my enthusiasm plummeted. We expected the kind of hospitality I return to every year, but in this case, the hospitality that Massimiliano and Vittoria possess was lacking.
07/03/2026: Very good food, really nice place, excelent location, great service. We had lunch in March. Fresh sea food, excelent cooked. We reccomend this place for an authentic taste and experience.

08/01/2026: I had breakfast here a couple of mornings in late December. The croissants were good, the juices excellent. They had lactose-free milk, which is important to me, so I appreciated that too. The staff was very kind and helpful.

12/04/2026: Wonderful in name and in nature! I'm returning to this restaurant after four years and I feel the same magic as the first time. The dishes are "stellar" and "starred." Finally, something innovative that, in addition to visual beauty, adds a light, refined, and above all lively flavor. For two, we ate: tomato tartare, bread with friggitelli peppers and scampi, chard pancotto and fried fava beans; gigli with crab and octopus; and dessert called bread and chocolate. While we waited, a variety of entrees and finger foods were offered. The service was absolutely exceptional, given the attention to customer service in the presentation and preparation of the dishes. With a glass of rosé and coffee, about €80 per person, absolutely well spent. For me, the best restaurant in Puglia.
06/04/2026: Great restaurant to have delicious food! Little on the pricey side, but it worth trying it if you like to try different kind of seafood.

08/11/2025: Right in from of the train station. We tried the local coffee Leccesse coffee which is ice coffee with almond syrup no milk. It was good!
25/10/2025: We had coffee and this place was great too. I can honestly recommend any small Italian cafe in the city. They are all clean, high quality and have a friendly atmosphere.

09/03/2026: Hands down the best gelato I had so far during my trip down the South of Italy. Nice owner, insanely delicious gelato, creamy, thick and packed with a strong flavour. You definitely have to try it when you’re in Polignano!
08/02/2026: Undoubtedly quality ice cream... I bought a simple cup with 2 flavors... pistachio and chocolate... 4 euros!!!... smiles not even when paid, Star's happiness behind the counter is practically a utopia..!!!... however, at the same time, at least he warned us that the "Pistachio" is more expensive... I sincerely hope that the finance company drops by and that he doesn't have heirs willing to pass on the business... retro troglodytes!!!!

09/09/2024: Restaurant dont le cadre est plutôt sympathique, au cœur de la ville et proche de la mer.
Les plats proposés sont rapides et efficaces, c’est une bonne adresse si vous n’avez pas forcément le temps ou l’envie d’attendre et de manger des plats copieux.
Seule remarque négative : les serveurs pourraient être davantage agréables.
30/07/2024: Siamo stati ieri sera io e la mia ragazza, abbiamo preso 2 gin fizz basilico e 2 calici di vino rosso Montenegro. Il cocktail era ben fatto, mi è piaciuto ma non mi ha fatto impazzire. Le olive che avevamo chiesto avevano un sapore molto aspro e amaro, non so se era proprio il sapore originale, mentre i tarallini buoni. Location comunque carina e centralissima.
