11/02/2025: I went to this place with my family and we had a roll, a sandwich and a pizza. I ate the pizza and I must say that I was satisfied as it was good. My wife ate her sandwich and tasted my daughter's roll and confessed to me that she had eaten better ones even though overall they weren't bad. The place only has a couple of flaws in my opinion. The first is that if you stop to eat in the place you have to keep your jacket on as there is always a draft, and the other is that the place doesn't stock beer or any type of "alcoholic". However, overall I can say that if you take it away it is an excellent place in the area.

25/01/2025: The kebab is very tasty and excellent for lunch (I recommend the kebab menu for the excellent quality/price ratio)

25/04/2025: Review against the grain but I found it 1) expensive! Cappuccino and brioches €3!!!! 2) poor quality. Cappuccio served in a cup slightly larger than a coffee brioches dry and hard. 9.30am so still time for breakfast. I often pass by and I always see the place full so it could be a sporadic case or it simply doesn't fit my personal tastes. It's a shame because the place is very nice and clean. The service was also so-so. The stop is worth it and then evaluate it personally.

22/08/2025: I love this wine bar! They're adorable, right in the center of the village. You can eat or just have a delicious little platter with a glass of great wine!

13/08/2025: We stopped for a quick lunch, a veal with tuna sauce and a large salad. The staff were friendly, and we tried the blind wine tasting experience (with poor results 😂).

25/07/2025: I've always gone there and the pizza was decent, but I went last night with some colleagues and I got a whole wheat pizza I hadn't asked for. I think they forgot the yeast, given how thin it was. Since the pizzas were small, we ordered a second one to share because we were still hungry, and they arrived after a 40-minute wait. Not to mention the cheesecake, which was incredibly heavy and no one could finish it. Then, when it came to paying, the bill was 27.50 each, so we asked the waiter to give us 27, given our experience. He pretended not to hear our request, so we asked for at least a free liqueur, but nothing. A place like that deserves better service. I don't think I'll be back.

20/07/2025: The restaurant, located inside the Magliano Alfieri Castle, certainly has its strong point in its location. The downside, in my opinion, is the excessive number of tables, which, while it does allow for a spot, unfortunately leads to slow service and long wait times. Parking is also a problem, and you may end up having trouble finding one, especially if you're unfamiliar with the area. The staff, however, try to maintain a consistent order when serving customers, and the pizzas and desserts are delicious.

20/03/2025: If you know about coffee in Mondovì, come and get it here. Then there are all homemade desserts made by them, including vegan ones, for intolerances. It stands out from the crowd. It's the place you always want to go

27/06/2025: Location, service and quality of offerings ok! Well done, compliments. Well organised for lunch break with a good variety of offerings, including "tris" dish, in a welcoming and well-located location in the city. Definitely worth returning to.

25/08/2025: On our last day of vacation, we decided to have breakfast at Bar Monviso, since we hadn't been able to the previous days due to hiking and tiredness, and it seemed like a nice place to try! The staff weren't smiling, but they were young and we figured they needed to grow up. We ordered two cappuccinos and two croissants, filled with cream on the spot. The cappuccino was lukewarm 🤐 and the croissants, probably from the day before, tasted and had the same texture as packaged ones. For almost 7 euros, you could do so much better. What a shame! 🤨

22/07/2025: Disorganizzazione nel servizio, prima ci dicono di sederci ad un tavolo, poi ci dicono di sederci ad un altro, prima servono chi arriva dopo , devi aspettare una vita per avere un caffe' ed un croissant (tutto cio' con una persona disabile). Oltretutto NON c e nessun bagno al piano, bisogna fare una bella scala ripida e mia mamma anziana e disabile non è potuta andare perche' non c'e' alcun modo per raggiungerlo! Sconsigliato!

16/08/2025: We can't bring ourselves to accept the €40 lunch on August 15, 2025. It's an exorbitant price for a bare-bones portion and poor quality, with potatoes in their skins and wine on tap. What Caritas offered to the poor is much better.

09/08/2025: Cold, hard, and tasteless pizza (takeaway). We also waited 40 minutes for the pizzas.

The prices are fine but they charge you for tap water and for the service, so you give away 10 euro for nothing basically. The service is ok. I wouldn’t recommend this place but if you have no other option go for it

07/07/2025: I’ve had dinner/lunch here a couple of times and I’ve thoroughly enjoyed it each time. The owners are very kind and friendly. The food is delicious and the service is excellent. You can eat either inside or outside the restaurant; both are lovely. Would highly recommend it if you’re in the area!
