04/07/2026: Clean and spacious room with good air con and firm, comfortable mattress but several machines in the gym were not working so I could not exercise, which was an important reason for choosing this hotel, and the wifi is throttled and slow. It would not let me sync larger files which was a real deal breaker for my photography work. I would not stay again for this reason. A business hotel needs to have flawless high speed wifi, in my opinion, and the gym should be functional at least.

15/03/2026: Comfortable, clean hotel with a garage, large, and quiet room! We slept very well! The elevators had a sign that the restaurant was open, complete with a menu displayed. Booking.com and the hotel website listed the restaurant among the amenities. Unfortunately, they told us it wasn't open...Saturday evening! I think it would be more appropriate to inform guests at check-in that they won't be able to use the restaurant! Other than that, we had a great time!

25/07/2026: Koki Wine Bar is a true gem in the heart of Barbaresco, overlooking the picturesque town hall square. The staff is extremely friendly and welcoming, making you feel right at home. The food is original and well-crafted, a delightful blend of local flavors and refined Japanese influences. The wine list is simply spectacular, packed with extraordinary labels for every wine lover. Thank you for the wonderful experience, we'll be happy to return!

The menu is clearly crafted with care—every dish we tried was fresh, well-presented, and full of flavor. You can tell the kitchen values quality ingredients and attention to detail. Nothing felt rushed; each plate arrived at just the right moment and tasted even better than it looked. Service was another highlight. The staff were attentive without being intrusive, always ready with a recommendation or a friendly smile. It made the whole experience feel personal and genuinely enjoyable. Overall, Il Viavai delivers on every level: food, service, and atmosphere. It’s the kind of place you remember long after leaving, and definitely somewhere worth returning to again and again.

10/08/2026: Beautiful place!! A stunning place with a jaw-dropping view... quality Piedmontese and Italian cuisine. A wide selection of dishes, and they also offer a meat or seafood menu with various appetizers, first courses, second courses, and desserts. Average price. The pizzas aren't amazing in my opinion, but they're cheap.

11/07/2026: Welcoming and nice place, friendly staff, decent food, shame about the wine with ice in it... I joked about the fact that it was very cold but the lady thought I didn't understand and pretended not to notice, laughing about it with her colleagues. I made do with it because of the heat... but she should have changed the bottle and apologized, it can happen!!

05/07/2026: Excellent experience as a couple, on the terrace. Friendly and professional welcome. A small menu, a sign of quality and homemade dishes. Delicious food and a reasonable bill. We'll gladly try the tasting menu before our departure.

07/06/2026: Around 11:00, we saw an offer on the app for unsold food to be picked up at 12:00. We're not from Racconigi, but we live a quarter of an hour away. This pastry shop had piqued our curiosity several times, so we decided it was the perfect opportunity to try it. At 11:45, we took one last look at the app; it told us the pickup was almost here. We left the house, pulled the car out of the garage, and headed to Racconigi. We arrived a few minutes after 12:00, and as I entered the shop, I grabbed my phone to open the app and confirm the pickup. Here's the nasty surprise: the order was canceled!!! At 11:00, they had unsold food, and it was unsold until 11:45. Did they know we were coming and are selling what we ordered? How serious is this? Did we drive half an hour (there and back) to get there and just let them fool us? I congratulate you on the attention and respect you show your customers. You will clearly never see us again.
