The seafood tasting menu is excellent, featuring the freshest ingredients. The dishes are meticulously prepared, beautifully presented, and delicious. There's a lovely wine list and a suggested pairing program. Excellent value. A must-try!

26/12/2025: An excellent location, impeccable service, professional and courteous staff, and a top-notch menu worthy of a Michelin star. We can only offer our warmest compliments. The quality-price ratio is excellent, placing it among the most competitive among Michelin-starred restaurants in the area. We opted for two separate menus, one fish-based and the other meat-based. The attached photos are a testament to our experience.

11/04/2026: Saturday morning breakfast, a crowded place but quickly and easily managed. Delicious croissants and coffee (I had an Americano) at the perfect temperature. The service is top-notch, the girls are very kind and smiling. The atmosphere is perfect to start the day. My compliments, truly.

11/03/2026: Two Aperol Spritzes for €7, as advertised, but it also says that prices may fluctuate, depending on the price of oranges or other factors, so in short: €8. Which is quite reasonable for a resident of the French Riviera. Inside a beautiful and peaceful courtyard. Inside, music plays, and the walls are covered with sweets, jams, and other local products (or not 🤔).

17/02/2026: Terrible experience. I have to say that the staff inside are very kind, but the owner is a decidedly rude lady. Even though I apologized for not having a wallet, I had to pay extra for a €2 cappuccino because I paid with a card. It wasn't so much the €2, but the rude way she told me that I had paid with a card, in addition to sitting down, and that she had something to gain from it. When I left, I turned around and she continued to talk about the situation to two ladies sitting at the table minding their own business. Truly a pathetic scene.

20/04/2026: If you're visiting the main sights in a day, Koki is an excellent option for lunch, featuring top-quality local products without spending too much time. Efficient service, a relaxing location. This way, we were able to visit three splendid villages, two castles, and two local wineries.

08/04/2026: Easter Monday...a busy day. The waitress who served us was incredibly kind, attentive, friendly, and cheerful! My compliments! Beautiful location, everything was excellent, from the wine to the mixed platter of cured meats and cheeses.

15/10/2025: Famous for its "Bramardini" and all its exquisite desserts and cakes, but... also excellent for aperitifs! The staff is extremely friendly, professional, and welcoming. The interior is beautiful, and the outside is pleasant, where you can sip your coffee or enjoy a delicious aperitif among the window displays in the shelter of the gallery.

12/09/2025: A coffee in this pastry shop is a must for anyone passing through Alba. Combined with high quality chocolate with a refined flavour, accompanied by the courtesy of the staff. Spacious and with plenty of seating.

24/12/2025: Good morning 20 days ago, as always, and not just for the Christmas period, I ordered 2kg of agnolotti and 1.5kg of tortellini. We always freeze them, but this year we had to divide them, and while dividing them, I noticed that the tare weight of the cardboard tray hadn't been removed. In practice, with the tray and paper, the weight was exactly 1kg for agnolotti, so each tray was missing 30-40g of food for two out of 80g of food. And for the tortellini, a full 77g of food was missing.

However, I regretfully have to report the rude behavior of a waiter who, on a chaotic Sunday like this, literally kicked us out and sent us to another establishment (where there was a mile-long line at the only cash register) simply because he couldn't bring himself to serve us two cans to go. I'm very sorry, because it somewhat tarnished the excellent image I have of Antagonisti.

Overall, Il Viavai delivers on every level: food, service, and atmosphere. It’s the kind of place you remember long after leaving, and definitely somewhere worth returning to again and again.
