The menu is short but refined and suitable for all tastes (also the chef was very kind in adapting the dishes according to our needs and intolerances). The place is small but fascinating with the stone vault above it. Highly recommended. We booked the night before and it was enough. But there are few places so I recommend not waiting. The price is very honest: good

20/02/2025: It is a very particular restaurant, in the heart of the Mantua countryside, just outside Sabbioneta. The restaurant is made up of several dining rooms, I couldn't define the furnishings, on the walls, on the floor and everywhere are antique pieces, paintings of all sizes, black and white photos, antique furniture, jewelery of all kinds and of all ages, records, lamps, in short, everything and more. Despite this "confusion", I really liked it, you feel part of that family who enthusiastically welcome you, serve you and there is no shortage of moments of chat with the owner or waiters. The food is delicious, and the cost is normal. Even in the bathroom there is a bit of everything, but it is clean and fragrant. Outside there is a large car park and a large outdoor area for the summer. I especially loved being greeted by the protagonist of this place, a big orange cat curled up on the entrance mat to welcome you. But there are other cats frolicking in the garden, or enjoying the sun.

We took the tasting menu, a decision without even thinking more, already from the name "Cuccurucucu" we were intrigued by the desire to try it. A journey of incredible flavours, all vegetarian based. Professional staff, attentive to the smallest details. Very welcoming environment. We'll be back, and congratulations again, we had a really good time!

09/10/2024: Ottimo caffè, salato e dolci. Le brioche favolose. Personale molto gentile e veloce. Se vi sedete fuori davanti alla finestra di laboratorio avete le possibilità di vedere le teglie piene di dolci pena sfornati, e una goduria unica.

21/08/2024: Nella pasticceria da Andrea si possono trovare dolci preparati con ottimi prodotti . Le paste (cannoli ,italiane ,elvezie ,frutta,ect)sono squisite ! Il caffè di buona qualità viene servito in bicchierini trasparenti molto belli Complimenti per la grande professionalità,la gentilezza e l’impegno profuso nel svolgere il loro lavoro a Andrea ,Alessandra ,Mattia,Giulia e alla collaboratrice Tania . 28/12/2024: I discovered this place with my cycling companions. An exercise run by true professionals. Neat and clean place. Here you can find the real Ligurian focaccia (how do they make it? Great!). I tried their shrimp and courgette risotto. Excellent! Lots of restaurants don't do it that way. Large and very sweet prawns, a risotto with the right degree of softness. Really excellent. Today I also tasted their ice cream. That's excellent too. Friendly and smiling staff but with elegance. You are really great! Lots of applause 👏 👏

07/11/2024: Went there a few weeks ago in the evening and got served by a very nice young man! The pandini were so tasty and they have good coffee! My boyfriend and I went there again with his parents who came to visit and we were served by another guy who was also very very nice to us! He talked with us, made jokes and was really patient taking our order ( because of the language barrier🤭) . Even gave us a little treat afterwards ( we ate too fast so I couldn’t get a pic of it anymore ) 🥹. 10/10 would recommend!

18/10/2024: It is not very large, but in the spring-summer period it has outdoor tables in the central square of the Municipality. The friendliness and professionalism of the managers ensure that the time spent in the restaurant is pleasant. The view of the square is enchanting. Parking places are nearby. The desire to return is almost guaranteed.

09/12/2024: Impeccable service, fast and friendly. Well-prepared and plentiful dishes, the meat is fresh and qualitative. The only negative note is the temperature of the veranda which is a little too cool... a couple of degrees more would be needed.
