07/12/2025: I have to report something that has happened several times. I ordered a cappuccino with decaffeinated coffee, but unfortunately I received it with NON-decaffeinated coffee (I double-checked the barista's actions, and the coffee doesn't taste the same). Not only that, but at the cash register they charged me for the cappuccino with decaffeinated coffee without even giving me a receipt. I expect clarification; this isn't the way things should be.

11/02/2026: One of Italy's historic establishments in the center of Bergamo Alta. Walking through the front door feels like you've traveled back in time to another era. A place where history and culture are in the air. A must-see for anyone visiting this splendid city. (I didn't give stars for the food and service because I only had a quick coffee.)

30/12/2025: From the beginning: I was looking for good, strong coffee. Somewhere where I could at least soak up some of the local atmosphere, since I was only there for a short time, but I like that kind of vibe. Pros: Small space, limited selection, friendly and dynamic service. If I ever return to Bergamo, I'll have my first coffee there, and all the others. At the bar.

10/01/2026: Excellent experience! The food is truly high-quality, with attention to detail. The chef is brilliant!! The service is attentive, the waitress is very friendly and always smiling. The place is beautiful, welcoming, and tastefully decorated, perfect for both a dinner with friends and a special occasion. Definitely worth a try.

08/01/2026: I think there are many who have a profession, but not everyone is capable of doing it. The only good thing was that the meat was cold, the wine had been opened a few days before, and what's more, the last glass left was disgusting... let's forget about the rest.

23/02/2026: The new girls don't reflect the lively, everyday atmosphere I find in the pastry shop. Katia, Nathaly, and Angelica are always smiling, attentive to the customer, and on point. I walk in and the new girls don't even say hello! They don't even look at me. They put you off staying. I'm a regular customer, and I'm able to resist thanks to Nathali, who never fails to make us feel at home. The quality of the cakes and pastries is unquestionable.

31/07/2025: A wonderful little place. It's welcoming and the food is delicious. The menu is always changing, with so many delicious things to try and savor again. The two owners, the legendary Patty & Selma, will make you feel at home and pampered with excellent desserts, friendly service, and relaxing drinks. Highly recommended!

01/11/2025: A very welcoming bar. Perfect for breakfast, aperitifs, and after-dinner drinks. The music isn't too loud, so you can still have a conversation.

06/10/2025: Even though I don't live there yet, it's always a pleasure to come back. The staff is welcoming, friendly, and kind.

16/11/2025: Pasticceria Camponuovo is a historic, elegant place with extremely friendly staff. They offer a wide selection of sweet and savory treats, and delicious coffee!

25/10/2025: Today, after we sat down at a table, the waitress on duty not only didn't say hello, but also failed to clear the table of previous customers' cups and served two customers who arrived later. After a twenty-minute wait, we decided to leave, and the only person who was considerate was the waiter at the counter. We regret this incident, but we hope it was an isolated incident. We urge the management to monitor the service more closely.

01/12/2025: I used to come to these bars years ago, and it was beautiful, with a spectacular view of the funicular and Bergamo, now taken over by Bakary..... it's become disgusting! Maybe not a place for aperitifs, but a glass of red, undefined and an Aperol spritz with two crisps €16 seems a bit excessive to me! AVOID IT, only come in to take a photo from the terrace.

20/11/2025: Amazing American style breakfast and lunch with a nice view.

12/07/2025: Good quality food and service, but the decor is bland and tasteless, very kitsch, with plastic tulip-shaped floor lamps and throne-shaped plastic armchairs. Not at all suited to a mountain setting.

27/04/2025: Kind and refined staff, beautiful apartments with all the comforts and everything you need without having to bring everything from home. On site including, own-produced pastry shop, restaurant, bar and supermarket. Ideal for couples and families, among other things with prices affordable for everyone. It will be a destination with a slightly longer holiday and perhaps with the family. Wonderful place between valleys, mountains and flowers, an immersion in nature is good for the heart and soul! We recommend it to everyone! See you soon from Melissa, Massimo and Loco😍 Thank you so much! 80 euros per person for 2 nights, breakfast included!

04/10/2025: After three idiot employees set fire to the place while we were inside, a month later we decided to go back to this place on a Saturday night to do something different, on the internet it says open and instead going there we find closed, well I have no words

08/03/2026: We ate very well, the portions were super generous and the service was always available even though we arrived at 2 PM! Highly recommended.

09/02/2026: We booked for 25 people well in advance, but unfortunately the restaurant failed the large group test. It's a real shame, because the quality is there: the appetizer was excellent and the casoncelli were really well-made. The braised meat would have been good too, if it weren't for the final management. ​The sore points began with the service: extremely slow and completely uncoordinated. When we tried to point this out, the owner (who was waiting tables) took offense, responding in an irritated and unprofessional manner. ​The kitchen management was equally lacking: ​The bread ran out almost immediately and was never replaced. ​The final portions were unsatisfactory: the last portions of braised meat were clearly scraped out of the pan, scant, and with a strong burnt aftertaste. ​Dessert and coffee: the house tiramisu wasn't a real tiramisu (just cream and zabaglione, no mascarpone), and the coffee was honestly terrible. In short: while some dishes are worth it, the owner's inability to handle large numbers and his unwelcoming attitude make the experience unrepeatable. We won't be returning. Response to the owner on 02/09/25 I completely understand the inconvenience you may have experienced, but this isn't the first time our group has found themselves dining out, and we've never received such treatment. Although we were one person fewer than booked (and not as you said), we believe that managing a large group should be part of a restaurant's professionalism, with all the inconveniences that entails. I'm aware of one person who didn't pay (and I disagreed); the bill was €37.00. It is unacceptable that the second courses are served before the first courses and, even more so, that our complaints were met with polemical responses rather than with a spirit of service, and the tone he used in replying to me further demonstrates this.
