17/01/2026: Back for lunch at Sweet Irene after years... it's nice to find the same calm and relaxing atmosphere. I'd forgotten that while you wait, they always bring you a slice of their delicious bread. Coming here is like a little treat.
It's best to book; if available, I recommend the upper floor.

30/12/2025: From the beginning: I was looking for good, strong coffee. Somewhere where I could at least soak up some of the local atmosphere, since I was only there for a short time, but I like that kind of vibe.
Pros: Small space, limited selection, friendly and dynamic service.
If I ever return to Bergamo, I'll have my first coffee there, and all the others.

25/02/2026: Very nice place, with attentive service and decent pizza. The dough is excellent, but in some cases the toppings could have been more flavorful (like the seafood in my case, which was better with the "fantasia" pizza), and the individual dishes could have been better. Prices are quite high, perhaps a bit too high.
21/02/2026: Unfortunately, I have to say that I was very disappointed by the service and the wait times were too long. The food wasn't always of a high standard.

09/03/2026: Excellent ice cream shop where you can enjoy the stracciatella gelato that was created here. Get the extra cone, which is definitely worth it because you'll find chocolate chunks bigger than the spoonful they give you. Fast service and friendly staff.
08/03/2026: Very high prices for meager portions. We had the stracciatella experience; in the large cone (wafer), they put two scant scoops of ice cream and a little bit of cream, for €5 worth of ice cream... Good product but ridiculous quantities, it seems like they're trying to save money.
A very disappointing experience, they made a terrible impression.

28/02/2026: I went for a 330ml can of lemon summer, and paid a whopping €3. IT COSTS MORE THAN GASOLINE, LIKE ARMED ROBBERY. I wouldn't recommend it even to my worst enemy.

21/09/2025: My mother and I sat at a table and weren't served. They sat six tables behind us and were having breakfast, and no matter how many times we called to order, they wouldn't serve us. Very poor service.
