08/10/2025: Bar Basso is primarily a meeting place for poets and thinkers, as well as those who just want to knock back a few drinks. Word has spread, and not only these days, that there's plenty to drink here, and that within these four walls you can buy enormous cocktails at an affordable price. During the Salon de Mobile, the bar becomes a mecca for interior designers, and the whole thing regularly turns into a block party. The signature cocktails served are just as red as the sign outside and the other accents around the bar. And since they already had designers in-house, they thought they'd design a glass to go with the cocktails. The Bicchierone, which sounds cuter than it is, was already Instagrammable before the internet. Not only is the glass now in a museum, but you can still order your drinks in the 33cm tall bowl, and thanks to the large handle, you can easily and accurately sip them. What wasn't redesigned, however, is the bar's interior, which feels as though it has remained exactly as it is today since the bar was founded. This doesn't detract from the overall design; it lends the whole a certain charm that the bar was intended to achieve when it first opened. The overall ensemble works as you breathe in the Dolce Vita feeling that the bar exudes. The smartly dressed waiters serve drinks with casual ease and aren't embarrassed to start a joke or two right in front of the guests. With so much La Belle Vie, it's no surprise that the cocktail for which Bar Basso is now known worldwide was born out of a mistake. But that happens quite often with the greatest inventions in human history, and that's how the Negroni Spagliato, or simply Spagliato (in English "wrong"), was invented. And you can taste that it comes from the bar when the red danger caresses your buds.

12/10/2025: From "escape room" to "escape this room, now." Two years ago, it was one of my favorites: engaging, well-crafted, with actors and atmosphere. Now? A "revamped" version worthy of a group assignment done the night before the due date. No actors, no logic, no fun: just an endless parade of locks placed randomly, just to make it seem like there's something to do. Paying 30 euros each to open locks at random and wondering, "What am I doing with my life?" is an experience I wouldn't wish on my worst enemy. The only truly difficult puzzle is how they have the nerve to call it an escape room. A "revamp" that seems more like a social experiment to see how much people can tolerate before asking for a refund. Final advice: escape... but from the reservation.

05/06/2025: The idea is very nice, but the actors are non-existent, there is only a person in disguise who laughs while taking you from one room to another. The idea should be elaborated and made less homely

Often some beers vary, so as to give customers the opportunity to taste different varieties. Great background music. Friendly and nice staff. When temperatures allow it, there are also tables outside. A place where you can relax and have fun.

27/04/2025: Quiet to drink without too much fuss, the service is a bit slow, we waited more than half an hour for a sandwich. The menu is only on a large blackboard above the counter, not very convenient. Interesting range of beers.

17/08/2025: Visited nearly two weeks ago for a quick meal before a concert. The food was okay but sadly the Parmesan/hard cheese used to put on top of the pasta was mouldy in the bottom of the jar it had come from. Me and friend had spread this all over our food before noticed the cheese was blue. I tried to explain this to the waiter but he was unfortunately not understanding what I was saying. The service was sadly lacking and he seemed rather disinterested.

17/08/2025: It's a very nice area of Milan, which is a plus for the place. It's a shame about the service. My friends and I had a truly terrible experience because of the waiter with glasses (he claims to be the owner), who made sexist comments about my friends' dicks the moment we walked in. I was really disappointed because we'd gone out for a nice evening with friends, and it ended up being an uncomfortable and unpleasant aperitivo, to say the least.

10/10/2025: Good pizza but overpriced, the rest of the food is average and overpriced, carbonara seems to be done for tourist greasy and not really tasty, fish overcooked , finally when paying, the waiter automatically charged the tip without asking, I would not recommend, price are high and the quality is not matching the prices, better to go somewhere else

10/10/2025: Stay far from this place. As a local iam sincerely advising you choose a different place this is the worst that can happen with you when on vacation. Don’t ruin your evening and vacation. If you are reading also good reviews they are fake.

13/08/2025: One of the best kebabs in Milan. Very friendly staff. In addition to excellent kebabs, you can enjoy pizzas as well as various Turkish dishes, both sweet and savory. Highly recommended!

05/07/2025: Great kebab, very fast, friendly and kind staff. Prices are normal. Two stars for the environment because it's hellishly hot inside, so much so that everyone is forced to sit outside in the summer.

20/09/2025: Excellent Irish pub, with a great selection of both their own brewed and branded beers, reasonable prices, and very friendly staff. We walked in during karaoke night, which was loud but not overly loud. When we said we wouldn't be participating, we were kindly moved to a more secluded area. I'll definitely be back.

18/09/2025: I think the Turks are a people who deserve respect. Their cuisine, however, is made with passion and dedication, and the flavors taste exotic...fresh. The only negative I would highlight, in my opinion, is the decor of some of your fast food restaurants...too old-fashioned for my taste. And one very annoying thing: don't call us boss, mister, etc....we're neither English nor American... Thanks Excellent cuisine

21/01/2025: Nel percorso verso la Multimedica di Castellanza, ci imbattiamo in questa pasticceria / caffetteria in una piazzola accanto ad un comodo parcheggio. Devo confessarvi che siamo stati attirati da un signore che usciva felice con un cabaret di paste e ci siamo lasciati contagiare provando a fare colazione. Devo dire: ottima! Ottimi i cappucci ed ottime le brioche. Parcheggio davanti. Cosa chiedere di più?

04/10/2025: The tiramisu and coffee were impeccable. I recommend it 100%. However, there was only one working restroom, which caused a kilometer-long queue. The women's restroom was clogged and out of service, so only 4 stars. I'll come back next year and see if they've fixed it ☺️😅😉
