31/08/2025: Spacious atmosphere and reasonably adequate and fast service. Conveniently located tables for a break. Food is average, nothing new in particular. Perhaps the restrooms could be reworked...because some doors don't close, so you might see a few guests rushing in...due to the urgency 😂...otherwise, more than decent.
19/08/2025: Great food, clean mens bathrooms, and a big space. Exactly met my expectations so five stars.

16/07/2025: Neighborhood café in Sarzana. We went for breakfast and the prices were very reasonable, and the coffee was delicious. They have plenty of tables and continuous service throughout the day. They serve appetizers and pizzas among other dishes. A relaxed place to have a coffee before a train.

10/06/2025: It's not the first time I've been to Ambrosia, but this time it's already the second time it's disappointed me. I ordered two sgabei to take away and as soon as I took them they were cold as if they had been there for an hour or at least not made at the moment. It's not for anything else, but paying and finding cold sgabei didn't go down well with me. Once they were much better now they were rubbery and difficult to chew on top of being cold. I didn't like it at all.

19/06/2025: Ci era stato consigliato… e purtroppo ci siam fidati! Innanzitutto, ambiente sporco! Pavimenti indecenti e menu unti. Solitamente fotografo tutti i piatti… erano talmente poco invitanti che non ne ho fatta nemmeno una. Frittura mista.. quindi col pesce azzurro “fresco” .. fortunatamente ci siamo accorti che un pesce puzzava di marcio! Il ristorante ci ha detto che può capitare. Arriva il secondo.. calamari alla piastra su un letto di insalata e pomodorini conditi con la cipolla cruda (che non c’entra nulla col pesce!) contorno ovviamente scelto da loro.. i calamari erano amari.. quindi non puliti bene! Ma come si fa???? Dolce.. assaggiano 2 tiramisù.. il pezzo forte della casa! Erano secchi, fatti con la panna, veramente immangiabili. Arriva il momento del conto, nessuna attenzione nonostante il “può capitare”. Queste recensioni così positive sono ingannevoli! Probabilmente trattano bene solo chi dicono loro. Di certo non ci torneremo più.
10/06/2025: Cari utenti, di passaggio a La Spezia, mi sono fermato qui e devo dire: *un’esperienza autentica e soddisfacente dal primo all’ultimo morso**.
Locale semplice ma curato, con un’atmosfera intima e un’energia familiare. Appena si entra, si viene accolti da Fiore e Luciano – proprietari attenti e calorosi – che da subito ti mettono a tuo agio con il loro sorriso e disponibilità.
Specializzato in pesce fresco, ogni piatto rispecchia tradizione e qualità.
Servizio impeccabile: lo staff è gentile e attento ai dettagli, sempre pronto a suggerire piatti e spiegare le peculiarità. Il proprietario si distingue per la sua accoglienza e la capacità di far sentire ogni ospite come a casa.
Un buon rapporto qualità-prezzo: pesce fresco, porzioni generose, ambiente conviviale e prezzi onesti creano un’esperienza che difficilmente delude

20/05/2025: As soon as we arrived in the city we had the misfortune to come across this place that presents itself with a counter full of products.
The illusion collides with reality when you take two triangles of DECENT focaccia (not exceptional) and pay €9.20 for them. Without any indication of the price in the window. Is this the case for tourists?

26/07/2025: Although our first visit here was okay, on the second occasion the croissant was a little soft/soggy, probably due to not being very fresh. We were a little pushed for time on this visit with a train to catch, and after waiting a while for my cappuccino, my girlfriend politely reminded them of our order, but still it never arrived. The attitude of the man at the till was rather poor, making no apology for the lack of attentiveness with our order.
Would not recommend.
25/07/2025: Aside from the rude staff, the food here is truly terrible. It sits there for hours and then isn't even warmed up and is simply thrown at you. You can buy much better food for the same price at the café across the street.

02/09/2025: Terrible food, rude service. We ordered avocado toast, which came with just a thin piece of bread with a tasteless green paste. And the scrambled eggs with bread and bacon came with two thin pieces of bread, a fried egg, and a measly slice of bacon. We spent 18 euros and left hungry.
All because I didn't check the reviews here first.
28/08/2025: Food is cheap and bad quality (not authentic) and the woman who works behind the counter has terrible attitude, extremely rude.

We had a great time as a family for our son's birthday.
We came for a coffee and some cakes at snack time, and everything was delicious.
Marcello, the waiter, was very friendly, attentive and caring, which made the moment even more pleasant.
A beautiful, simple and joyful break, in a welcoming atmosphere.
Thank you again for this good time!

25/06/2025: Buscamos este lugar porque nos enteramos de ello cuando investigamos nuestro viaje. Estuvimos en la ciudad por tres noches, y no importaba a dónde fuéramos cada día, terminamos aquí. Es un bonito bar de vinos de la esquina con una buena selección de vinos. Simplemente disfrutamos sentados, bebiendo un poco de vino con un aperitivo ligero y vimos a la gente ir y venir (turistas y lugareños).

19/02/2025: Esperienza da non ripetere, servizio lento per non ifierire troppo, cibo scarso e qualità mediocre unica e sola nota positiva la posizione fronte mare.
15/10/2024: Pessima pulizia del locale interno ( soprattutto bagno) cibo molto dozzinale...(.anche se con 22€ non si poteva pretendere molto)...Il risotto ai frutti di mare non sapeva di nulla il fritto misto era appena sufficiente così come l'orata alla griglia . Mai più.

09/06/2024: Cibo buono e curato. Porzioni giuste e prezzo adeguato. Ci dobbiamo tornare con più calma a cena. Vino non provato perchè dovevo guidare. Cortesia e velocità nel servizio.

14/05/2025: Normalerweise bewerte ich nur Restaurants in denen wir gute Erfahrungen gemacht haben, um die Leistung von Küche und Service wertzuschätzen. In diesem Fall muss ich leider eine Ausnahme machen, weil es bisher die schlechteste Erfahrung gewesen ist, die wir je gemacht haben.
Monterosso ist natürlich ein Ort, in dem viele Touristen unterwegs sind und einen freien Tisch zum Essen suchen, deshalb scheint sich das Personal und ebenso die Küche nicht um einen Gast zu bemühen, auf Stammgäste ist das Konzept ja auch nicht ausgelegt und die Trinkgelder sind auch gesichert, da sie gleich mit auf der Rechnung stehen, wir aber gerne bei gutem Essen und freundlichem Personal noch zusätzlich Trinkgeld geben. Der Kellner wirkte völlig lustlos, hat uns mit einer Geste einen Tisch zugewiesen, auf unsere Begrüßung gar nicht reagiert. Auf eine freundliche Bitte, uns Salz zu bringen, wurde zwar signalisiert, dass man es uns bringt, das war es dann aber leider auch. Mein Mann ist nach 10 Minuten selbst nach drinnen ins Lokal gegangen und hat eine Kellnerin um Salz gebeten, die ihm einen Salzstreuer gegeben hat, da war das geschmacklose Tagliata Manzone leider schon kalt, schade.
23/02/2025: Tres déçu repas composée de fruits de mers congelés , accueil austère , mauvaise ambiance , tarifs pas adéquation avec la qualité ! Je ne renouvelerai pas l'expérience
