13/04/2026: A welcoming atmosphere, perfect for relaxing and immediately feeling at ease. The staff is simply fantastic: always smiling, kind, and truly helpful.
Every visit has been an extremely pleasant experience, never disappointing. A place that wins you over in every way and undoubtedly deserves the highest rating. Absolutely five stars, highly recommended! 😊
12/04/2026: Everything was perfect! The food, the service, and the atmosphere!
The waiters were attentive and very kind. The fried food is truly excellent and highly recommended!
They also make rice flour breading, which is great for those with celiac disease or gluten intolerance!
Everything was perfect!
We'll definitely be back.

Ristorante 'Paolino'
Lerici
01/05/2026: We chose this restaurant primarily because it's billed as a go-to place for gluten-free options. My partner is celiac, so it wasn't just a touristy detail, but a genuine dietary necessity.
The meal started out well on paper: simple dishes, pasta listed as gluten-free, and a setting that promised a good experience. Unfortunately, the whole thing quickly lost its charm. The welcome was cold, the service rather clumsy, and the waiter ended up creating a frankly uncomfortable atmosphere during the meal, without us really understanding why.
The most surprising thing was the dessert. For a restaurant that emphasizes gluten-free so much, finding out there were no gluten-free desserts available was quite surprising. The answer was firm: there would be no other option. For a place that's supposed to specialize in this area, it's a bit like going to an ice cream shop that's sold out.
Another unpleasant point: the bill. When it came time to pay, the bill was presented to us in a rather sketchy manner, with the prices handwritten and a quick sum added up in front of us, arriving at a total announced as €71. However, considering the prices displayed and what we had consumed—two bottles of water for €3, a bottle of wine for €12, two dishes for €10 and €12, a rum baba for €7, and a limoncello—this amount seemed difficult to comprehend. Even including the limoncello, the difference is still striking.
The general atmosphere was also quite peculiar: a child was watching videos, running around the dining room, and apparently entering the kitchen, without seeming to disturb anyone. This gave the impression of eating in a makeshift place rather than in a restaurant attentive to its customers.
In the end, we had the feeling that tourists were greeted with more enthusiasm at checkout than during service. A real disappointment, especially for a place that claims to specialize in gluten-free products. We will not return and we do not recommend this restaurant, especially to celiacs looking for a truly reassuring experience.
12/04/2026: From the photos, the portions looked generous. We ordered a mixed grill of fish, but unfortunately we were only served three prawns (not particularly tasty) and a small piece of fish. In my opinion, and based on my experience at other restaurants, a mixed grill shouldn't be presented like this.
The second course, fish all'isolana, was also truly poor: very little fish, soaked in too much oil, so much so that I couldn't eat the potatoes,
and accompanied by a very small portion of grilled vegetables.
All for a total of 62 euros. We left the restaurant still hungry and had to eat elsewhere.
Highly not recommended.
A disappointment!!!!!!!!!!
