07/12/2024: I titolari o il personale possono essere simpatici o meno, questo dipende dalla propria esperienza. Sta di fatto che, a livello qualitativo o come luogo d'incontro per riunioni professionali (grazie ai tavolini esterni,di cui si avvalgono anche nella pizzeria al fianco) è un luogo che sembra "svolgere il suo compito". Prezzi medio-alti, essendo stata definita zona centrale: al di là della considerazione cittadina della zona, lo è. Recentemente ristrutturato nel design, per renderlo più accogliente alle masse e trasmettere minor richiamo di sciatteria.

01/01/2025: Nos encantó este lugar! Tuvimos un gran desayuno aquí.
Cuenta con mesas exteriores que en invierno están protegidas por una gran estructura cúbica en metal y vidrio.
En este bar se puede tomar un buen café, excelentes cruasanes y dulces.
Aquí también hay paquetes de regalo disponibles especialmente para vinos, que se muestran a la vista y clasificados por origen y región de Italia.
El servicio es muy amable, los precios son asequibles y hay una gran variedad de bebidas diferentes y cosas para comer (por ejemplo, para el desayuno).
Recomendado.

25/08/2024: Very pleasant evening, in a suggestive location, the fish menu is of great quality. The service is kind and attentive, and Alessio was a great advisor. I highly recommend it
24/08/2024: The food lived up to expectations. The menu consists of a few dishes and is on a laminated sheet (I would at least improve this aspect). The location is very suggestive but sad to see how a historical heritage has been cannibalized by numerous commercial activities.

Emilio, a visionary owner, despite his shyness, manages to convey his passion for artisanal ice cream making and attention to the workmanship and choice of raw materials which are all of the highest quality! It's no coincidence that Niko Romito chose it for his bombshell!
28/11/2024: Eating Emilio's ice cream is a real experience. From classics to soft ice cream, every flavor is incredible, but the classic Crema di Emilio is unsurpassed!
The venue is also very beautiful and the aesthetics are taken care of at 360 degrees, great attention to detail shines through.
We also tried some of the products on sale, and the Emilio selection jams are truly delicious.

The owner says that it's part of Italian customs, he's the only person to say that in Italy... In any case, the service is catastrophic. We still left a tip after seeing the owner rummaging through his miserable cash register for 5 minutes. Lamentable
15/10/2024: Place to avoid... coca cola in glass €5, small juice in glass €5 and half liter bottle of water €2 all without sitting down.

18/03/2025: We had a simple coffee, quite good. But 1 euro per person for the cover charge is really too much. For having served an espresso, accompanied by two glasses of hot water. We spent 5 euros for two espressos. (1.50 each) Reading the menu the prices were really high. I understand that it is in the Sassi, but trying to raise the prices for the average tourist, then loses customers in the area who only want to consume a coffee. At least I would have liked to know how much the cover charge was before sitting down. At least I would have chosen to consume it at the counter. For the rest good coffee and kind owner.
16/03/2025: The place is very nice, well located in the center of Matera and the food is good.
It’s just sad that it takes 30 min to get a take away sandwich
I recommend this place if you’re ok waiting a long long time before getting served

13/11/2023: The least good place we ate in Matera. Poor quality ingredients and cooked too simply.An example? Gummy bran pepper. The waitress was decidedly unwelcoming and had a brusque manner. Exaggerated prices compared to the type of cuisine and the rest of the offer of the Matesni restaurants. Background music more appropriate to a bad bar in Bogota.

Ho festeggiato a lume di candela il compleanno della mia compagna. Con grande sorpresa tutto lo staff ha cantato tanti auguri portando una tortina con la candelina accesa.
Aldilà di questa bellissima sorpresa, abbiamo cenato molto bene con piatti molto buoni e ricercati.

07/10/2024: Spritz ist teuer und die Gläser sind nur zu 2/3 gefüllt. Wir wollten nur etwas trinken und nichts essen. Als eine größere Gruppe kam, wurden wir genötigt, Platz zu machen. Nicht empfehlenswert! Ein paar Meter weiter ist es freundlicher und günstiger!

09/07/2024: We went to this restaurant/pizzeria a few days ago. The restaurant is located in the center of Lagonegro very close to the square dedicated to Pino Mango. Very friendly and attentive staff in service. We ordered three different bruschettas: all very good. Then two cuts with a side of grilled vegetables and the meat was tender and tasty. Very honest bill: 43 euros for two people. Overall it was a pleasant experience. Compliments to the staff. I can't comment on the pizzas, because we didn't order them.
