02/04/2024: Lo Scalco dell'Aquila is not only the best restaurant in that beautiful and invincible city. It's much much more. Here food becomes a work of art. But the artist did not limit himself only to the triumph of taste. He went above and beyond. The vision, the presentation, the description make it a multi-sensorial work. A poetic experience. But to "build the Future together" - to quote the visionary and wise words of the Artist Armando - art alone is not enough. And so here is the care, the professionalism, the kindness, the passion, the dedication that Armando, Massimiliana and all their wonderful young staff naturally embody. And then the Future becomes as blue as the Artist's eyes.

10/03/2024: Paid 85 euros for two: a platter, 2 first courses and 1.5 lamb, plus a liter of house wine. Absolutely incongruous given that the food was not excellent, the place was very rustic and the wine was not in bottles. Unfortunately we fell for it due to hunger since everything in the town was closed. They rightly avoid presenting the menu. However, not recommended. Price from a good fish restaurant!!!
04/03/2024: After a rather ICE first impression upon arrival, we immediately changed our minds, we had a wonderful time.
Maximum availability and kindness on the part of the owner nicknamed 'The Magician' who, in addition to the catering, also introduced us to the small village and the beautiful people who live there.
In this restaurant we ate excellent truffle and mushroom tagliatelle for lunch, tender grilled lamb, tasty, perfectly cooked,
Homemade lentils served with delicious croutons and raw oil.
The top: Angus and bean stew, truly excellent.

24/02/2024: Excellent quality food, local products and cooked to perfection. Fair price, clean room and very friendly staff. There were two of us and we ate a mixture of cheeses, bruschetta, cazzarellitte de grandinie, tagliatelle with mushrooms and sausage, and finally a tiramisu. All very good.
24/02/2024: Delicious and quality dishes. The homemade pasta was exceptional, as were the starters. Very friendly and kind owner. Congratulations and see you next time!

04/04/2024: I've eaten really well here since Saturday... I had an excellent white lasagna, very good, a sprite and a portion of baked potatoes.. I highly recommend it.. close to the Castel di Sangro station!!!

04/02/2024: Il 2 febbraio a pranzo abbiamo avuto la fortuna di trovare un tavolo disponibile.
Locale molto caratteristico , ottima cucina , personale cordiale.
In questo posticino regna" Sovrana la Gentilezza" , quella autentica, spontanea ( quella caratteristica innata!)
Alla fine del pranzo con quella loro attenzione spontanea hanno reso magica una porzione di tiramisù per fare gli auguri di " buon compleanno " ad Andrea.

07/01/2024: Abbiamo pranzato il giorno dell'Epifania in compagnia di amici. cibo molto buono, personale giovane e gentile, ottimo servizio.
06/01/2024: Serata indimenticabile per le pietanze, il vino ma soprattutto per i peperoni caramellati. Lo staff e lo chef sono eccellenti professionalmente.
Buono il brasato di cinghiale.

13/01/2024: Antipasto molto buono a buffet, come primo dei ravioloni al sugo con un buon ripieno ma un po’ crudi all esterno, contorni buoni ma nulla di eccezionale, ed infine i dolci: tiramisù troppo mollo e sapeva di poco mentre la torta con i confetti e il cioccolato bianco buona
07/01/2024: Siamo stati in questo locale ieri sera, in occasione del nostro soggiorno a Sulmona. Abbiamo provato varie pietanze, io in particolare ho preso gli straccetti di vitello con rucola, davvero ottimi. I miei compagni di viaggio hanno apprezzato tutto ciò che avevano ordinato, dai vari primi ai secondi. Abbiamo concluso con un’ottima cheesecake. Camerieri e servizio super preciso e attento, la ragazza che prendeva le ordinazioni è riuscita a ricordare i nostri ordini completamente a memoria senza sbagliare nulla. Consiglio davvero piacevolmente di venire a provare i loro piatti!

05/04/2024: For those who love craft beer, this is the right place, beer produced by them sold on tap or in bottles, low prices and many qualities of beer. They also do tasting before ordering. The only comment I feel like making, given that they don't do food in this place, is that they could offer at least some platters of cold cuts and cheeses; let's say that they offer the possibility of bringing food from outside, such as pizza or sandwiches, but it would be more profitable for them as it is convenient for customers to be able to get something to eat, not too demanding, on the spot!

There was no one there when I went there.

27/11/2023: Went to this cafe just to try the caffeto, an espresso coffee with the confetti cream mixture made by this cafe. And we were not disappointed, it was great and I would recommend if you are in this area to see the confetti museum or just passing thru, that you find this cafe and try this coffee.
