21/03/2026: A quick trip to Abruzzo to adopt a puppy. We already had our dog with us that evening, so we opted for dinner in the apartment where we were staying. We went to get some takeaway arrosticini, which were delicious and perfectly cooked. They were very kind and wrapped it all up for us so we could enjoy it piping hot... highly recommended.

14/10/2025: Parco dei Mulini has been a trusted favorite for several years now. I've been here often, even on different occasions (in the summer, the kiosk is open, you can eat outside in the heavenly temperatures, and the live music evenings are fantastic!). In the winter, they host indoor evenings, and the menus change based on events (the pizzas, in particular, are updated frequently!). Top quality in everything, from beers to main courses, all the way to dessert (made by the fantastic staff), and the pizzas are unparalleled: the best pizzas in the Ortona area and the surrounding area, even though we're in Crecchio. Generous portions and affordable prices. The owner is super. The place is beautiful, surrounded by the greenery of a charming former mill, and it's not uncommon to spot a few animals!

24/09/2025: Always happy to book. Relaxing place, even if it's always busy. The food, both meat and pizza, is always excellent. The beers are also good, with a wide selection. Good value for money.

04/04/2026: An impromptu stop: without a reservation, they seated us right away. Food was a hit: fresh and tasty raw seafood, and the sautéed mussels, roast beef, and octopus were also good. One oyster wasn't top-notch; it's a shame it wasn't replaced. Fast and accurate service, but with a smile that was a bit on energy-saving mode. Overall, a good experience.

29/03/2026: Good lunch with fresh and freshly prepared dishes. You have to wait a bit but it's worth it.

21/02/2026: The place is really pricey, the food is not that much good. Actually, I had food poisoning with their pasta with cozze. Even though we stayed very close to there, never eat there since that time.

01/04/2026: Dinner with new friends I met on my skiing holiday, which I chose to organize at 1492, a restaurant owned by Maria. Two pages of a very delicious menu, waiting to be discovered. The pinsas are delicious, but everything is good. In Francavilla, where Siren's has now closed, the best option for my tastes is 1492. Besides the quality, the prices are also still reasonable, and you leave feeling full for just a few euros.
