02/06/2026: Fresh fish and ever-changing ideas for pairing it with different dishes, depending on whether you're talking raw, hot, or cold. Specifically, we sampled complete appetizers with oysters and noteworthy raw fish, smoked spaghetti with Normandy butter, anchovy sauce and bottarga, and to finish, a crispy, dry fried fish. The Trebbiano wine from an Abruzzo winery was paired with the dish.
The price was absolutely competitive and in line with what we tasted.

15/08/2026: We had dinner here and had a great time. For appetizers, we had bruschetta with marinated anchovies and confit tomatoes, and a seafood salad. For the first course, we had marinara risotto, and for the second course, fried calamari, scampi, and shrimp, served with a side of baked potatoes. Everything was truly delicious. The service was excellent and very fast. The place is simple, but clean and welcoming. The background music was discreet and very pleasant. We left satisfied and surprised by the price: very fair. Highly recommended!!!

The hot appetizers were exquisite, homemade in the best sense of the word, and the ventricina arrosticini were top notch. The more ordinary mutton ones were also good. The prices were very fair, clearly leaving aside the premium meats, which already have their price tag as raw materials.

13/08/2026: We are on holiday in Abruzzo and we stopped here for dinner. The mixed fried meat and pizza are spectacular. The setting is wonderful, surrounded by greenery. The staff is friendly and kind. There is a bit of a wait for service, but it is worth it. Excellent quality and price. Reservations are required.

19/08/2026: A disappointing experience. We dined with the full menu for β¬70 per person. Initial excitement, as the location is certainly charming, especially at night, gradually gave way to boredom and weariness due to the long wait and the ultimately unremarkable dishes. All things considered, it felt like a wedding in a standard reception hall, only in a rather cool location.
18/08/2026: Spectacular dinner, delicious food, excellent seafood menu. The location is beautiful, very evocative, and the staff very friendly. Worth it.

22/07/2026: We loved it. We had some delicious spaghetti alle vongole and a seafood salad, made with fresh, high-quality ingredients. The location, right on the seafront, is wonderful, and the service was excellent. We can't wait to go back!
22/07/2026: We had lunch yesterday at La Balena; there were eight adults and one child. We all thought the food, the wine, and the place were spectacular. The seafood salad was delicious (I'd tried others before at different restaurants), and the spaghetti alle vongola was incredibly tasty. It was truly a 10 out of 10. The sea views made us want to go for a swim at the beach in front after lunch.
