29/12/2024: hanno sbagliato il nostro ordine e ci hanno fatto pagare lo stesso prezzo, nonostante l’errore. prezzi carissimi e personale mancante, però mi congratulo con il ragazzo che fa il cameriere perchè era da solo con il locale pieno, anche se non è riuscito a gestire la situazione. NON CONSIGLIO ASSOLUTAMENTE!!!

13/10/2024: Recommended by friends, I wanted to try this pub. Very good, although from a 'pub' I expected slightly larger portions, both the hamburger and the appetizers.

02/01/2025: Good food, simple but tasty. Quality of raw materials and prices in the average of other places in the area. Quiet and easy-going environment. I would have gladly avoided hearing any generic comments about the payment method from the manager... the only flaw in today's relaxing lunch! Overall, absolutely recommended!

26/12/2024: If there aren't people with so much "fake" kindness and friendliness, if they serve the table I won't tell you how they put you in a position to leave, they don't even offer you the dessert menu and they ask you in no uncertain terms to vacate the table!

16/01/2025: Very recent experience on a Friday evening, unfortunately very slow but friendly service. To bring 3 beers and a bottle of water took more than half an hour. While waiting for the remaining members of the table to arrive, we ask for 2 portions of chips and, I must say, served quite quickly. Once the orders have been placed, an inedible, unfortunately very hard chicken cutlet sandwich, a dish that should have been served with a sauce, is brought to me with other condiments without asking for anything (luckily I eat everything and have had no problems, had it been otherwise that was it done?) High bill but average, for the quality of the food and the service, very slow. Table of 5 people, with 3 fries, each a different dish around 12-15 euros, a beer-two beers each, 2 bottles of water=30 euros per person. None of us want to go back if not just for the beer, which is really good.

05/01/2025: I went this evening for the first time with friends. Everything was fine until the moment of the bill, which besides being exaggerated for (€102 for a cut, an apollo and a stuffed focaccia, 3 desserts, beer) they allowed themselves the luxury of not doing the receipt. Never again!!!

02/12/2024: Great cafe but also serve very good food and reasonably priced. Fish stew on Fridays only is amazing you have to pretend book on the Thursday but we'll worth it.

13/09/2024: Passing through Guardiagrele, we stopped for a coffee. Given the notable offer of homemade desserts, we (with my wife) couldn't resist and accompanied our coffee and cappuccino with an excellent almond croissant with cream and one with berries. Really good and fresh and above all not frozen. The friendly and approachable service. We will definitely be back.

11/01/2025: Unfortunately a negative experience also accompanied by a long wait. Poor quality raw food and poor portions, unsuccessful combinations. Cold appetizer, usual ready-made things, hot appetizers served after an hour of waiting, practically cold too. The monkfish as a second course was overcooked and unfortunately dry. More than €130 without wine 😭 Just a shame about the very friendly staff.

09/01/2025: A real trattoria where you can enjoy seafood dishes, excellently prepared with excellent quality raw materials... the staff are polite and helpful... I forgot the added value facing the sea...

04/01/2025: The seafood was delicious good quality home cooked and we highly recommend it. We had to sit on the enclosed veranda with some heat lamps and no other diners at first and that area could definitely use some pleasant decor and lighting. Good food is always enhance by a beautiful atmosphere. The visuals are important too. The service was good

31/12/2024: I have been going to this restaurant several times for a lunch break, there is little to say about the food, home cooking with an exceptional flavour, unfortunately on this last visit the service and the environment were absolutely failing, starting from the wait of around 20 minutes to order, then the waiter's responses were not entirely kind, after some nervousness among the staff as there were so many people waiting and they were concentrated on setting up and changing tables instead of attending to the customers present, finally after waiting a quarter of 'now at the checkout for pay where the intersection between the rows and that of the bathroom was created, we paid €65 for three first courses and two second courses during the lunch break, as we were charged for a second course which we did not consume, my advice is to bring the service at the same level as the food, unfortunately this time a bad experience.

10/11/2024: Unfortunately, after this experience, I can say that I have definitively put an end to what for years was a fixed appointment for me at Cavalluccio. Every summer it was a tradition to go and eat there, but this year, due to what happened, I won't be going back again. Last August, I went to lunch with my few month old baby. Once seated at the table, we ordered a fish first course. While I had my son in my arms, the dish, very hot, arrived and he, for a moment, put his hand inside, burning his finger. In a panic, I jumped up to protect him, and in the process the plate fell to the floor. I immediately took my son to the bathroom, who was crying desperately from fear. Upon my return to the table, I expected to find a more attentive situation and at least an apology or intervention from the staff. Instead, I found nothing. No one approached me to ask if anything had happened or to offer to fix the situation. When the waiters came to collect the dishes, they did so without even cleaning or making the slightest gesture of attention, as if nothing had happened. I was really disappointed by the behavior of the staff and, unfortunately, this experience has convinced me that I will never return. It's a real shame, because for many years it was a place I loved, but this time it was too much.

03/11/2024: Kindness and professionalism. We had a very good time. The place was full and we thought we would wait a long time, but they were quick considering that everything was freshly prepared. Tasty dishes and adequate portions.

12/11/2024: Go to spot for daily fresh made Gelato. Selection changes daily. Try the Pino Pinguino, it's outstanding.

08/12/2024: A good fish restaurant. Simple but effective appetizer of crustaceans and molluscs au gratin, chitarrina with clams and honest bottarga, buttery dishes.
