14/05/2026: I went to Lo Stappo with fairly high expectations given the location and the reviews, but unfortunately, the experience wasn't positive.
The tortelli with robiola cheese and shrimp were quite disappointing: the dish was poorly balanced and, absurdly enough, there was practically only one shrimp. Given the price and presentation, I definitely expected more.
The service wasn't the best either. Aside from the person who initially greeted us, who was kind and professional, the rest of the staff was quite rude.
It's a shame, because the setting is very beautiful and the place has potential, but overall, I wasn't satisfied with the experience.
13/05/2026: This small town is considered, and rightly so, one of the most beautiful villages in Italy. Strolling through the narrow streets, fascinated by the various structures equipped with fully functioning water mills, we notice "Lo stappo." The season allows us to stop in the summer terrace, completely surrounded by the river. For our appetizer, I choose "pike in sauce with polenta" followed by "leek and Asiago omelette." All washed down with a good Lugana wine. The flavors are truly excellent, so we decide to round off the meal with a cheese selection and a glass of passito. I therefore end this experience on a high note, knowing I've chosen a place that probably has every reason to envy other restaurants in the area.

06/05/2026: We stayed two nights at Bellavista to celebrate our wedding anniversary and had a truly wonderful time! Beautiful panoramic location, well-maintained property, spotlessly clean and spacious room, and kind and attentive staff. I asked for a few extra touches for our anniversary dinner, and they left flowers and chocolates on the table, and even made us a cake! 😊 The food was excellent, both at breakfast and dinner. We also found the bed comfortable and slept well. We didn't use the pool, but it also seemed well-maintained. Overall, everything was beyond positive; we highly recommend it!
05/05/2026: We stayed at the Bellavista Hotel for a few days. Everything was perfect! A place where you can find serenity. Aside from the beautiful location and view, the hospitality, kindness, attention to detail, and cleanliness make you feel welcome and pampered right away. And the breakfast was fantastic! My compliments to all the staff and management. It will be our go-to place for a lakeside vacation.

28/05/2026: We celebrated a family event here last week. It was special thanks to Petra, the owner, and her wonderful staff: professionalism, expertise, kindness, and friendliness are what set these people apart. The menu was gluten-free for one person with celiac disease, and gluten-free for the others: top marks for all courses. Even the cake, gluten-free for everyone, was amazing. The portions, from the welcome aperitif with mini pizzas and focaccias, to the appetizers and everything else, were generous, so there was no chance of leaving "still hungry."
Congratulations for the attention to celiac disease, thanks to the chefs, Petra, and the wait staff.

07/04/2026: We only had Aperol (highly recommended), and the fact that they even asked if our dog needed water was incredibly kind! The music was pleasant, and the view was fantastic!

08/09/2025: My experience at this restaurant wasn't positive. I had a Smartbox voucher for two people. Cold welcome at reception, they see I have this voucher in my hand and tell us to go to the restaurant, an attitude typical of office workers. They seat us in a corner of a large room where within 10 minutes two large groups of people arrive, shouting and talking loudly and disrupting our lunch. I wonder why we weren't seated in another area where we could have lunch in peace. Then we get to lunch: very salty spaghetti with clams and dry grilled sea bass fillet. The sliced beef requested medium rare, was instead raw. The waitress, a foreigner, who needs at least some training, since she wanted to put parmesan on my spaghetti with clams, brings me the sea bass, announcing: "Who is this fish for?" I don't even know the name of the dish she's serving. To top it all off, at 2 pm, when we were about to leave, the waiter comes over to point out that the restaurant is closing. But where have we ended up? Except for the view. The restaurant is dated, probably from the 80s or 90s. I don't know what it is. The rest are hotels and apartments.
I doubt I'll stay at this "resort."

22/07/2025: Amazing! Such a beautiful area, surrounded by a garden, and a view of the lake. Excellent service and really fast delivery of the food! The pizzas were beautiful... even better then the restuarants in pescheira del garda! And the price is very good. Would visit again.

11/03/2025: Mi trovavo a Negrar x un operazione al menisco… mi sono imbattuta in questo ristorante per sbaglio.. non conosco la zona.. e’ stata una bella sorpresa!! Da subito il titolare mi ha fatta sentire a mio agio, molto gentile e professionale. Piatti ottimi e vino super !!! Tant’è che ci sono ritornata alla sera🥳 consigliatissimo!!!!
