07/01/2026: I've been there a couple of times and I must say it has never disappointed me. Entering here is like diving into Brazil: the decorations, the style of the place, and the music immediately create a warm and lively atmosphere.
The staff is cheerful, friendly, and makes you feel immediately welcomed, truly conveying the South American spirit. The typical Brazilian dishes are prepared with care and flavor, as are the drinks, all excellently crafted.
A place where every visit is a little journey to Brazil, a must-try if you're in Bari and want an authentic and tasty experience. 🍛🍹✨

18/07/2025: We were there for work, and were welcomed as if we were their grandchildren. The owners, Filippo and Rosaria, are two genuine, hard-working people who do everything they can to make their guests feel welcome and cared for, as do their daughters who help them, who are also tireless. After 15 days, we were sad to leave them; we felt at home. We returned two years later, again for work. The place has been completely renovated, but fortunately the spirit hasn't. I will return as soon as possible, and we will continue to return. Thank you again for everything you have done and continue to do. If you pass through Roseto, you can't miss this place. The cuisine is simple, but very good, and they are always attentive to the customer's needs. A big hug to the whole family.

The reception hall was beautiful and well-maintained. The entire service was super friendly. Special thanks to Vito (the manager) and Consuelo. They were incredibly friendly and made me feel pampered from start to finish. They fulfilled my every request. Highly recommended!

30/12/2025: If you want to taste authentic Apulian cuisine, you must stop at this Osteria, where the owners will make you feel at home and will envelop you with the aromas and flavors of their land. The olive oil, bread, focaccia, and desserts, all homemade, and the traditional dishes, left us with unforgettable memories. Thank you for this break, and we'll be back soon!
31/08/2025: We stumbled upon it almost by chance and had a wonderful time. The food was traditional, including bread (various types), orecchiette, and their own extra virgin olive oil. The owners were very friendly and the prices were more than reasonable.

28/09/2025: Great dining under a beautifully lit tree in a courtyard. The pistachio crusted bream was the best of what we ordered. The beef was too chewy. I would post the tiramisu but it was quickly devoured.

12/02/2026: My husband and I had dinner at your place. It really bothered me that the blonde waitress, as soon as she saw us come in, made a comment to the other waiter: "What do these people want?" Madam, it's not right to make comments like that about customers! Besides, the restaurant was empty. I don't understand what she meant with that comment!!! If it weren't for my husband, I would have gone somewhere else. However, Luca saved our evening with his kindness. If it hadn't been for that comment, I would have given it five stars!

25/11/2025: My wife and I stopped for a quick stop on the way home, thinking we'd be quick since there was almost no one in the dining room. But after taking our order, the waiter stopped to say hello and chat with some other people who seemed like friends who had arrived in the meantime. After a while, he remembered us and asked us to reorder because he'd forgotten the dishes we'd ordered. After finally receiving our dishes, my wife asked for salt, which never arrived! Another customer near our table, having received the same treatment, commented, "I'm getting up and leaving now!" We asked for the bill at the cash register without even ordering coffee because, given the previous situation, we probably would have had to wait another hour!
23/11/2025: Average food, but terrible service.
We waited a long time when we arrived because the older waiter was busy chatting with other people.
After eating the first course, we waited over an hour before being asked to order the second course again.
When the second course finally arrived, I asked for lemon, but it was never brought.
A disappointing experience.

27/10/2025: Cala Marin Bar was a huge disappointment. It's the bar attached to the lido, so you'd expect slightly higher prices than average, but what's truly disappointing is the poor quality of the food served. The food offering is very limited, and what little there is is sloppily prepared and poorly executed.
We tried a few items on the menu, and unfortunately, almost everything was inedible. Dry sandwiches, less-than-fresh ingredients, and no attention to presentation or flavor. Everything seemed prepackaged and hastily reheated, with no regard for the final quality. The price-to-service ratio was simply unacceptable.
The only positive exception was the rustico leccese, which at €3 was at least decent compared to the rest. However, one decent item isn't enough to save the overall experience.
The service is slow and inattentive, with long waits even when there are no customers. Cala Marin Bar seems to thrive solely on its location, but it's completely lacking in attention and professionalism. I don't recommend it, and I don't think we'll return. There are much better options in the area.
21/09/2025: We visited a beachside bar in Italy as a group of six gay friends, and unfortunately, we had a very unpleasant experience. When we ordered tequila with salt and lime, the waiter realized we were gay and made a rather offensive remark, saying that “salt and lime is a lady’s thing, not for men.” He then refused to bring the accompaniments we asked for.
This kind of attitude is unacceptable and shows a level of prejudice we did not expect to encounter. So here’s a heads-up to other LGBTQIA+ customers looking for a welcoming environment: sadly, this place did not treat us with the respect everyone deserves.
