24/02/2026: This review is for German tourists who happen to find themselves in Deliceto, where there are wonderful places to visit, such as the old town and the Norman castle, which impressively overlooks the plateau towards Foggia and the sea. But I wanted to tell you about the restaurant "Da Marcello," which has now been taken over by the owner's son, Nicola, after his parents recently passed away. In their honor, he reopened the restaurant after a successful renovation and now offers food and wine that pay homage to Apulian tradition, but with a modern twist. Highly recommended. Especially the house wine, which personally reminds me of my grandfather's wine, so strong that you had to dilute it with sweet sparkling water or a "pesca" (fish drink). This wine is still fermenting in the bottle and must be drunk immediately. It was a real treat for my family and me, and a visit to "Da Marcello" has become a fixed date on our calendar whenever we travel to Deliceto. Just stop by. Typically Italian, the best restaurants are hidden in a long curve, unassuming from the outside, but with an amazing interior.

I recommend a stove with a fire; it would add a touch of warmth and make the space more welcoming. In the bathroom, turning on the existing radiator would be enough.

Unfortunately, however, the experience was ruined by the behavior of the waitress who served us. A short woman (and not only that), in her fifties, with large dark glasses and a light brown ponytail. From the very first moment, she was rude, unhelpful, and had an annoyed attitude, completely out of place for such a high-end establishment. Questions were asked condescendingly, answers were curt, and there was no attention paid to the customer. It's a real shame that such a beautiful place is ruined by such unprofessional service. 09/01/2026: A beautiful location in Bari for events and special occasions. We celebrated my granddaughter Carlotta's baptism here. The villa is stunning, reminiscent of a castle. The outdoor park is equally charming. The on-site parking is very convenient. The furnishings are tasteful. The service is attentive. As for the food, there's nothing to complain about: excellent selections and beautifully presented dishes. I especially enjoyed the stuffed squid. I imagine the prices are high, but they're commensurate with the type of venue.

Great style, elegance, cleanliness, and professionalism from Enzo, the manager, and Leo, the impeccable butler (the bathroom is among the best I've ever found in such a venue). Highly recommended for high-end events, just steps from the Trani seafront and in a central location. Weddings, parties, and more are perfect here... they even have an in-house kitchen, so there's no need for outside catering. Definitely worth a try! You can't go wrong!

27/08/2025: We stumbled upon it by chance during our vacation in Manfredonia and it was a pleasant discovery: great prices and good food. I absolutely recommend the meatballs. We also had the baked pasta and lasagna and were completely satisfied. When we return to Manfredonia, we'll definitely stop by again for takeout.
