12/10/2025: I've been to this pizzeria many times (both before it changed ownership and under the current management) and I have to say the food is always good. Both medium and high pizzas, a fairly varied menu, and reasonable prices. Service is always prompt. Recommended.

10/10/2025: September 2024 I've been to this restaurant a year later and I must confirm everything I've said previously. Some family members joined me, and I took them to this "little treasure," letting them taste not only the spaghetti cacio e pepe, but also the breaded porcini mushrooms and the famous rib-eye steak... a delicious piece of meat cooked to perfection. Needless to say, the quality of the service and their responsiveness to our requests are second to none. For me, I classify it as an "essential" stop for anyone visiting Salento for a gastronomic experience. Fernando, I'm from Bari, which isn't around the corner. I'll try to convince my wife to stay in your "castle." September 2025 I usually come to eat at this restaurant during the period (late September, early October) when I'm taking my spa treatments. I reiterate my empathy for this place, to Fernando and his staff. This time I had lunch, while the others had dinner, and even though it was almost past 12:15, they gave me the attention a customer notices. They offered me spaghetti cacio e pepe with porcini mushrooms, a Grigglestone cube roll, wine, and a digestif. Price is relative when the dishes are exceptionally flavorful and prepared. I certainly didn't pay cheap, but if you compare the price to the quality of the food, the location, and the service... It's clear that the chef and his team know their stuff, with dishes that showcase the flavors and ingredients. ​However, it's in the dining room that the magical, secret ingredient of this place comes into play: Elena and Antonio. ​From the first moment, they make you feel at ease, as if you were at the home of old friends. Antonio stands out for his innate charm combined with impeccable professionalism, expertly guiding you through your choices. Elena, originally from Naples, has that extra something: not only is she welcoming and spontaneous, but she also stands out for her great professionalism and expert service, which greatly enrich the customer experience. ​Highly recommended for those looking not only for excellent food, but also for a warm welcome and high-quality service! 18/09/2025: We dine here as we stay at the Gran Paradiso hotel. It is in the same level with the hotel lobby. Service and atmosphere are excellent, waiters were attentive and fast eventhough we were not speaking Italian. Food are just okay to our liking. Beers are nice.

28/09/2025: Average quality and price... the place is a bit small... but it's always a good idea to book... parking is difficult and the place is a bit hidden, but it's a small detail.

07/08/2025: We visited this restaurant last night (August 6), encouraged both by word of mouth and the excellent reviews. The restaurant is located in the historic center, so parking may be a challenge. However, we were lucky: we found a paid spot about a hundred meters away. The restaurant appears to have been converted from what was probably a private home, so don't expect large reception rooms, but rather rooms adapted for the purpose, with tables set up wherever possible, including outside. Let's be clear: if you follow a specific diet or prefer à la carte dining, this might not be the right place. The menu is fixed, with no menu, and offers three options for 20, 25, or 30 euros, differing only in the number of courses (more or less starters and main courses). All menus start with 12 appetizers (yes, twelve!) offering a veritable array of typical Apulian dishes: dairy products, eggplant, zucchini, fava beans, capocollo... a journey through traditional flavors. Nothing like gourmet cuisine: here you dive into the past, into those genuine flavors reminiscent of Sunday lunches with your parents and grandmothers. It's true traditional Apulian cuisine, unfussy yet rich in authenticity. We chose the €20 menu, which included a second course, and opted for the mixed grill. Truth be told, we were already full after the appetizers, but with chicken livers, bombette, and the like... how could you say no? The price also includes water and, in our case, half a liter of local red wine. What more can I say, except that the welcome was exemplary? An experience we recommend to those seeking authentic flavors, generous portions, and a family atmosphere. It will be added to our list of restaurants to return to, perhaps for lunch :-)

16/09/2025: Beautiful location. An unexpected garden, with beautiful plants and well-kept lawns. I attended a wedding reception at this villa and was truly enchanted. The setting was simple but perfect, and the staff was knowledgeable and friendly. We had a wonderful time.

24/09/2025: Overall, a good experience. The place is well-kept and welcoming, the service attentive, and the owner very helpful. I appreciated the overall quality of the food, although the first course, despite its simplicity, didn't particularly wow me: it could have used a little more flair to stand out. I must say that I stopped for work, so I wasn't able to try other dishes. I'll definitely return and try other dishes to confirm or update my review. Overall, a good experience with room for improvement.
