30/11/2025: Amateurism and dishonesty!
I don't normally write reviews, but last Sunday's experience, on the occasion of my daughter's confirmation, forces me to express my deep disappointment.
After having agreed in detail, a month in advance, on the menu for our children's confirmation (5 families for a total of about 100 seats) and communicated the number of participants within the requested timeframe, when it came to service, we were confronted with the utter inability to manage such an event.
In fact:
- The food served was of extremely poor quality (defrosted, industrial, undercooked food). I've never had a worse meal!
- The menu served was partly different from what was agreed upon.
- The food, brought to the tables on plastic trays, was not enough for everyone.
- The serving utensils were missing, so everyone had to serve themselves with their own. Some tables were even missing plates.
There wasn't enough staff, which meant the wait times were significantly extended, creating inconvenience especially for out-of-town guests.
The fact that Mrs. Silvia, the restaurant manager with whom we made the arrangements, "coincidentally" wasn't present, much less answered the phone, leads me to believe that the above was the result of conscious decisions.
29/11/2025: Evening tennis reservation, late November. Winter rate with lights and heating.
The instructor leaves the court the hour before, the court is perfectly heated. Five minutes later, the fans begin to blast icy air, and continue to do so for the entire hour, making the climate exactly the same as outside the ball court (a November evening in Turin, so 37-39°F). When simply asked for an explanation, the manager at reception offers somewhat fanciful explanations, such as the thermostat reaching its maximum temperature when the heating was literally turned off for an hour, and the temperature inside the ball court was 41°F at most. No one requests any kind of refund, especially since it's not the 3 euros out of 35 that make the difference. An apology would certainly have been appropriate, rather than the teasing or the arrogant, presumptuous attitude we received.

27/09/2025: Closed for over a month. They haven't reopened since the summer holidays. A faded note said they'd be back on August 30th. Let's hope they reopen sooner or later. The kebab was good and the prices were fair.

I attended a Halloween party...
€25 entrance fee, annoying kids, overbearing and rude bouncers... In short, not to be repeated!
However, the place looks very nice, and I'll definitely be back for anything other than a nightclub-style party. Terrible!
20/10/2025: We stayed at the Cascinetta di Buriasco estate on October 18, 2025. The property, which organizes weddings, parties, etc., behaved incredibly rudely. Upon arrival, they told us there would be some noise and that it was strange they hadn't warned us. What they described as a bit of noise was actually a large-scale party that continued with loud music, loud noises, etc., until 4:00 a.m. Our room was directly across from their ballroom.
Correct behavior would dictate not selling rooms during events, but here, they're only looking at revenue.

18/08/2025: Stay away from this place. It has no seriousness in its service and no professionalism. They take reservations, you receive an email asking you to confirm your arrival, and when you arrive, it's closed. They waste your time. They don't let you know they'll be closing that day. So, it's a high-risk establishment.
05/06/2025: Trattandosi del ristorante di un hotel 4 stelle 🌟 non potrebbe essere diversamente: grande sala, anche per accogliere utenti di convegni ed eventi che si svolgono nella struttura; camerieri vestiti.. formalmente, tavoli ben sistemati e distanziati…, ed anche ovviamente ottimo menù, anche se non troppo dispersivo…
Per quanto provato ottimo il vitello tonnato, i tagliolini “molti tuorli” agli asparagi ed il bonet quale dessert, con due calici di vino dei Colli Tortonesi…, l’ormai famoso Timorasso…
Porzioni abbondanti, prezzi equi e servizio cordiale ma “da signori”, quindi locale .. da tornarci…

16/11/2025: Unfortunately, I've been there twice for a musical dinner and I feel sick... the place is too hot and there's no air circulation, which is truly illegal... I never feel sick, but I've been there twice and I fainted both times. Do something about it because it's really too hot. The service was top-notch, especially the waiter Raffaele, who was very kind. However, the food was poor and the wait times were too long... Speed up and add staff.

28/05/2025: Un angolo autentico di Piemonte da riscoprire
Ieri sera io e la mia compagna abbiamo cenato al ristorante Il 14 di Carmagnola, nel cuore del centro storico, a due passi da piazze suggestive e porticati che raccontano la storia di un paese tanto bello quanto sottovalutato, ai confini delle Langhe.
Nonostante fosse un tranquillo martedì sera, siamo rimasti colpiti dalla quiete del centro: un luogo che meriterebbe decisamente più vita e attenzione.
Il locale ha un arredamento un po' datato, ma coerente con il contesto del borgo, che contribuisce a creare un’atmosfera familiare e autentica. A fare la vera differenza, però, è stata l’accoglienza: le signore in sala sono state gentilissime, attente e sempre sorridenti.
Abbiamo iniziato con un ottimo antipasto da condividere, composto da vitello tonnato e salsiccia di Carmagnola, due classici del territorio eseguiti con gusto e semplicità. A seguire, io ho gustato una tagliata con patate al forno — carne tenera e cotta come desideravo, porzione generosa — tanto da chiedere un altro piattino di quelle deliziose patate! La mia compagna ha scelto un secondo più creativo: Gratin di patate & provola con hummus di ceci, ben equilibrato nei sapori.
Per chiudere in dolcezza, ci siamo concessi due fette di torta artigianale, davvero meritevoli. Abbiamo accompagnato il tutto con una mezza bottiglia di Nebbiolo, una bottiglia d’acqua, un caffè e un limoncello.
Alla fine, con soli 70 euro, abbiamo vissuto una serata perfetta: piatti abbondanti, qualità, cortesia e un’atmosfera che ti fa sentire a casa.
Consigliatissimo per chi ama la cucina della tradizione piemontese, con un ottimo rapporto qualità-prezzo. Un posto dove sicuramente torneremo.

15/12/2024: Cafè storico di Torino. Fanno una cioccolata buonissima e Hanno una scelta infinita di the tisane. Io ho provato il tge verde sencha ed era buonissimo! Abbiamo comprato anche dei gianduiotti di loro produzione, top! Inoltre è vicino alla stazione, quindi molto comodo

Piatto semplice ma indubbiamente freschissimissimo, quindi doppiamente apprezzato.
Buono il servizio, attenzione alla pulizia e al SORRISO (cose che troppo spesso vengono messe in secondo piano).
PS. Una nota a parte le patatine dell'aperitivo... attenzione: creano dipendenza da quanto sono buone!
22/06/2025: O lugar é bem simples. Sentamos em uma mesa da rua, só para pedestres. O serviço é muito bom. O melhor é a pizza que fazem num anexo do bar. Simplesmente maravilhosa.
