My partner had seen this restaurant on YouTube and secretly decided to come and approve it (I had suggested to him as if out of war) the point is that the restaurant did not disappoint and exceeded expectations both for the impeccable attention of the staff, the beauty of the place (and that It was night and December) but surely in spring it still has to be more idyllic. The food was excellent and the selection of wines with their explanations were top 10. We already want to return.
30/11/2024: The location, which I already know, is extraordinary, but I must say a lot of professionalism, empathy added by the staff... friendly, attentive, prepared... beyond Laura's sweetness and skill in describing and serving the dishes... to the kindness and right pairing of wines with the sommelier's dishes mark.
Excellent chef, delicate and perfect tastes for a refined palate and not...overall a 5 star plus...and to the owners...a warm greeting to everyone, see you soon.
Ah...I add the convenience of parking and garage reserved for customers in case
I'll definitely be back."

30/08/2024: A place to absolutely try, located at the top of Brunate, right near the lighthouse, it is one of the historic activities of Como and its surroundings.
It offers typical foods such as pizzoccheri and obviously various types of polenta.
The prices are affordable and the portions are very generous.
I liked the flavors even if I found a little too much oil for my tastes in the polenta uncia, however I recommend the one with truffle.
Very friendly service, nice outdoor tables.
Parking right in front of the venue.
28/08/2024: after a long time I had the opportunity to try Polenteria di Brunate, taking advantage of the presence of two friends from Abruzzo I took the opportunity to let them taste the local cuisine and it was a wonderful experience, all very good, pizzoccheri starters and polenta uncia with Bitto sausage and molten casera, spectacular, compliments to the chef and the very kind, helpful and knowledgeable staff, the house wine is also very good. we will definitely be back

Ma il cameriere urlante, il servizio inesistente, il cibo non certo memorabile, l'arredamento privo di un minimo gusto, il conto furbetto, fanno di questo crotto, un posto in cui non torneremo e non consiglieremo.

12/08/2024: What an incredible find! We stumbled across this gorgeous restaurant on our way along Lake Como and it was worth the detour - whilst enjoying a beautiful view of the lake we enjoyed Campari Spritz and a delicious bowl of Ravioli with Walnut Sauce. We were serenaded twice by San Giuseppe 🥰 and all the patrons were happy and enjoying a leisurely lunch. Pass by here if you want to feel like you're the only ones to discover a true gem!

The pasta was tasty and a large portion. Tasty pizza that they adapted to a vegetarian version.

12/12/2024: Premetto che la prenotazione è stata effettuata dall' hotel dove eravamo alloggiati. Direi che ci hanno indirizzato molto bene.
Siamo rimasti molto soddisfatti, innanzitutto per l'ambiente e l'atmosfera, il locale si presenta bene, spazi ampi, con un bel caminetto infondo alla sala.
Entrambi gli antipasti sono stati un buon inizio, abbiamo preso dei carciofi, che è stata una proposta fuori carta, che ci stava vista la stagione e il polpo con base di purè e liquirizia.
Ma il piatto principe è stato il risotto con ossobuco, squisito. Complimenti!
Infine c'è una discreta scelta di vini.

17/06/2024: Ich wollte mit meinem Sohn in dem Restaurant zu Abend essen. Es wurde uns gesagt, dass es keinen Platz für uns gibt, obwohl nur ein Tisch besetzt war. Seit Jahrzehnten bin ich in 5 Sterne Hotels zu Gast. Dieses Ereignis habe ich zum Anlass genommen Bellagio zu verlassen. Das Personal ist nicht nur unhöflich, sondern hat scheinbar keine gute Menschenkenntnis!
13/06/2024: We stopped in the bar for late night drinks (we were staying at the Hotel Florence next door). Beautiful bar, lots of comfortable seating areas, and a great pianist gave it a wonderful atmosphere. The server was very attentive and they really try to make it an experience for their guests. Many drinks/cocktails on the menu are named after famous people, pricey but fun. A nice way to end an evening.
