18/08/2026: Wonderful place! The owner asked whether we wanted to see the menu or have a chat with him about our preferences so he could suggest cocktails for us. The selection he made was perfect and when I asked about some of the components, he happily showed me the bottles and explained why he chose them. He also shared some stories about his travels and what he learned about the spirits used. That is dedication to the craft! T he complimentary snacks that we got with our drinks were tasty and freshly made. Every drink is 15€ which is more than fair. All in all a chill atmosphere, lots of bottles to see displayed along the walls and comfortable chairs.

14/08/2026: Reservation Canceled Terrible experience. We were a group of five and had booked and paid directly on the restaurant's website. We planned a full day on Lake Como, including boat rental, counting on that reservation. When we arrived, we were simply told that the reservation had been canceled and we were turned away. No one bothered to call us, even though they had our number. They told us they had sent an email, which had ended up in spam, but for a cancellation like this and with a reservation already paid, a phone call would have been the least they could do. Five of us, after a specially organized trip, found ourselves without a table and without any solution. Absolutely unprofessional management.

05/08/2026: We have been here 4 times already be the service and quality of food was extremely bad! We waited over 40 minutes for our main dish which then was cold.

14/08/2026: Create a version for Google Reviews La Polenteria – Brunate If you're looking for a place where Valtellina tradition meets care, quality, and a truly welcoming atmosphere, La Polenteria is a must. The restaurant is pleasant, furnished in a rustic-modern style with great attention to detail. Laura looked after us, accommodating all our requests. How's the food? Excellent! Rich appetizers, Sciatt and Valtellina croquettes, Pizzoccheri among the best I've ever tried, polenta of all kinds, even with truffle, creamy and velvety. Honest portions and fair prices. I'm back from a week in Trentino, where I ate all kinds of polenta... but here I found a truly special polenta: velvety, delicate, perfectly balanced. The cheek dish was simply delicious. My wife had the pizzoccheri and found them authentic, home-made, and truly delicious. We also attended the event for the night of San Lorenzo: impeccable organization, with a wine bag that allowed us to enjoy the viewpoint at the Volta Lighthouse and a spectacular sunset over Como. An experience we will remember for a long time. I went by car because it's small, but due to the narrow road, I highly recommend the cable car from Como: they also organize a shuttle that takes you to the restaurant. Convenient and charming. Excellent food, welcoming atmosphere, friendly staff, quaint location. Some prices are a bit high for water and cover charge, but overall the place is definitely worth it. Highly recommended. We will definitely be back.

29/07/2026: We came as a family to celebrate an anniversary, and I must say it was a truly excellent experience. The food was delicious and anything but ordinary. The chef creates truly delicious dishes with unique pairings. Even if an ingredient might seem off-putting at first glance, it's actually what completes the dish and makes it unique, like his gnocchi with lamb ragù and candied fruit. I recommend this restaurant to anyone who enjoys good food, as I find it a wonderful discovery. We were delighted not only by the food during our evening, but also by the company of the owner, who was particularly attentive to our needs and guided us in pairing the right wines with our chosen dishes. Truly a 10/10 experience.
