23/07/2024: Nel piacevole contesto della terrazza fiorita del locale abbiamo proprio gustare un delizioso guazzetto caldo di calamaro, e un piatto di polpo con patate fagiolini e pomodori delicatamente insaporiti da squisito pesto, piatto altrettanto piacevole. Oltre all'acqua abbiamo bevuto 2 calici di sciac-trà Ormeasco di Pornassio Doc rosato. Come dessert abbiamo gustato Vinsanto con biscotti in pasta frolla della casa. La spesa complessiva di 54 euro riteniamo, anche in virtù dell'abbondanza delle porzioni, che rappresenti un'ottimo rapporto di prezzo in considerazione della qualità, della cortesia, e della piacevolezza del luogo. Unico rammarico quello di non esser riusciti a lasciare una mancia avendo pagato con carta e non avendo contante per farlo. Ci scusiamo qui col cameriere e ci ripromettiamo di tornare per mangiare altrettanto bene e rimediare al fallo.

10/07/2024: Esperienza assolutamente consigliata. La location è stupenda: una terrazza tra i palazzi antichi di Verezzi. Essendo nel paese per il festival teatrale e anche un po' in ritardo, abbiamo chiesto se fosse possibile ordinare e mangiare qualcosa in mezz'ora e non saremmo potuti capitare in locale migliore! Abbiamo mangiato una ricchissima e gustosissima focaccia con burrata, pomodorini e prosciutto crudo davvero indimenticabile e bevuto una birra artigianale. Se passate da Verezzi è assolutamente da provare!

21/07/2024: The view from the veranda is undoubtedly breathtaking, just as breathless was the lunch treatment of 4 poor foresters from the central south. Presentation and preparation of the dishes bordered on decency, and when we asked the waiter for explanations we were told that the chef had already left and it wasn't even 2pm. Really a shame

19/07/2024: We can't say much about it. We tried it twice. Even though maps said it was open, it was closed every time. Without any information about vacation or similar.

16/06/2024: Nach etwa 15 km erreicht man, von der Küste kommend, das 200-Seelen Bergdorf Montalto. Neben zwei Bars gibt es hier das Ristorante La Finestrella, das sich verwinkelt über mehrere Rustici erstreckt und Tische in Innneräumen und auf einer Dachterrasse bietet. Man parkt an der Straße und geht vielleicht 100 Meter durch die Gassen bis zu dem Lokal. Das Rundum-Ambiente ist das eines typischen Bergdorfes, die Einrichtung ist eher schlicht und funktional. Die Speisekarte bietet aus jeder Kategorie (Antipasti, Primi, Secondi) etwa 5 verschiedene Gerichte. Wir bestellten zwei Vor- und zwei Hauptspeisen, Wasser (das aus dem Hahn kam) und eine Flasche Wein. Die eine Vorspeise, panierte und frittierte Sardinen, war in Ordnung. Die andere Vorspeise, Gnocchi mit Gorgonzolasauce und Trüffelscheiben, ließ erheblich zu wünschen übrig. Das Beste waren die geriebenen Trüffelscheiben. Die Gnocchi badeten in reichlich Soße, die zudem sehr kompakt war. Nur: den Geschmack von Gorgonzola suchte man vergeblich. Die Sauce war farblich einheitlich, fast künstlich, breiig und geschmacksfrei, wie es bei einem Convenience Produkt oft vorkommt. Schade, dabei bieten die lokalen Märkte hervorragende Produkte, um eine tolle Gorgonzolasoße anzurichten. Ich bin kein Koch, aber meine selbst angerichteten Gorgonzolagnocchi schmecken um Welten besser - nach Gorgonzola eben. Dann die Hauptspeisen: zum einen Thunfischstreifen auf Salat, zum anderen frittierte Calamari. Dass ein abgelegenes Ristorante keinen frischen Thunfisch vorrätig halten kann, ist verständlich. Aber auch ein aufgetauter Thunfisch kann noch fest sein und Struktur haben. Das war hier beides nicht der Fall. Die Panade der Calamari war noch sehr hell und weich und hätte etwas länger frittiert werden müssen, um knuspriger zu ein. Zu dem Frittierten gab es nur Zitronenscheiben. Insgesamt war der Abend aus kulinarischer Perspektive enttäuschend. Die Zutaten waren allesamt einfach und Kochkunst war weder sichtbar und schmeckbar. Das alles kann bei einem Bergdorf-Ristorante akzeptiert werden, wenn sich die Wirte nicht versteigen, preislich in einer Liga mitzuspielen, zu der man nicht gehört. 90 Euro für diese Speisen (ohne dolce und Café!) ist in keiner Hinsicht angemessen. Wir sind in der Gegend kulinarisch viel unterwegs und werden das La Finestrella nicht auf unsere "once again Liste" nehmen. Die Conveniencesoße und das Medium-Frittierte haben haben sich später noch lange bemerkbar gemacht und das Einschlafen erheblich erschwert. Es ist enttäuschend, nach einem Restaurantbesuch feststellen zu müssen, dass man zuhause besser gegessen hätte.

30/06/2024: A little nice Albergo, you can’t call it hotel, because the lack of services of one hotel.spacious room, with small and uncomfortable beds,and as for breakfast,better not to mention. The policy of checking at 16:30 is very stressing as it makes you wander around until is time to have your room, parking is free at the albergo, the surroundings are quiet and beautiful.

16/05/2024: Soirée parfaite avec menu à 40€ très copieux. Raviolis de grandes qualités. La suite du menu était aussi parfaite. Très très bonne adresse. Accueil irréprochable et à l'écoute.

27/05/2024: A proximité de la gare ce petit restaurant ne paie pas de mine, et c'est grâce à Tripadvisor que nous l'avons découvert. La porte de la cuisine est ouverte et on peut voir le chef à l'oeuvre, super! Nous avons passé une excellente soirée dans un cadre "familial" avec des plats savoureux, et un vin blanc excellent. Un bémol simplement, quand on ne parle pas italien, et très peu l'anglais, la carte n'est pas facile à lire mais la serveuse nous a proposé la traduction en français sur le téléphone. Sinon, une serveuse très sympathique, ainsi que le chef, qui a pris quelques minutes pour discuter avec nous à la fin du repas. Pas sur que nous revenions à Gênes, mais sinon, nous retournerons dans ce restaurant avec beaucoup de plaisir.

10/05/2024: Une superbe découverte 🤩, cuisine familiale, très savoureuse. Personnel très sympathique à l'écoute. Une adresse à bien garder pour y revenir manger.

21/07/2024: Purtroppo non posso dirle di essermi trovato bene, in generale. Al momento del conto ho dovuto richiedere lo scontrino con il dettaglio degli importi perché qualcosa non tornava. In effetti erano state aggiunte voci inesistenti.

07/07/2024: La cucina è interessante, piatti di buona qualità, ma non 'indimenticabili". Il servizio ( lunga l'attesa e molto informale il servizio al tavolo) si scontra con le pretese del listino prezzi. In sostanza risulta un po troppo caro ( soprattutto gli antipasti), ma probabilmente è l'effetto Piazza Bresca anche se il locale ne resta al margine.
